Though the Carrera name is usually associated with TAG Heuer’s iconic chronograph, the watchmaker’s entry-level time-and-date version looks perfect for everyday wear. Coming in at 39mm in diameter, it’s the ideal size for almost any wearer, remaining reserved in profile with just the right amount of wrist presence. The case design is clean and modern (just like the brand’s most well-known designs) and the dial features guilloche finishing and polished hour indices.

The heart beating inside the Carrera is TAG Heuer’s Calibre 5, a workhorse automatic ticking away at 28,8000 beats per minute, and operable at up to 100 meters in water thanks to the Carrera’s case and sturdy build. It comes affixed to a stainless steel bracelet that’s refined enough to wear on special occasions and durable enough to wear to the beach. And given that the entire package costs just $2,500, it’s a reasonable amount to pay for a watch that’ll function day-in and day-out for an entire lifetime of use.

MSR Hubba Hubba NX Tent
Save $80: If any tent could be considered a modern classic, it might just be the Hubba Hubba. MSR’s experience designing tents goes way back — its first shelter debuted in 1973. It built the Hubba Hubba for lightweight backpacking but constructed it with enough space to keep even the once-in-a-while camper comfortable. That’s largely a result of an innovative single-unit pole design that stretches the interior walls wide and lifts the tent ceiling at the same time. The result is a two-person tent that is 43 cubic feet in volume, weighs just under four pounds and packs down smaller than most sleeping bags. That makes the tent light enough for multi-day treks and spacious enough for a weekend music festival.

Now through June 16, you can get this best-selling tent for $80 less than full price at Backcountry when you enter the code SMR20 at checkout. The discount applies to a handful of pieces of camping and climbing gear; you can shop the full sale here. — Tanner Bowden

L.L. Bean Father’s Day Deal
Save 20%: The bean boots are an iconic style that L.L. Bean just keeps pumping out of Brunswick, Maine. If you haven’t started shopping for Father’s Day, now seems like a good time to do so. Be sure to use code FORDAD at checkout. — Meg Lappe

Alternative Apparel Heavyweight T-Shirt
Save 69%: A quality t-shirt is never a bad investment. Chances are, you’ll wear it more than many other items in your closet. If you’re looking for a good option, Alternative Apparel makes a heavyweight pocket tee that is both soft and durable. Nike Exercise Sneakers
Save 20%: Lost in the hubbub of new releases and colorway updates is a simple truth: athletic footwear of the year past (or in some cases just a few months ago) is not completely worthless immediately upon a newer model’s release.

For those who follow value before hype, there’s this summer sneaker sale from Nike. Some of our staff’s favorite sport sneakers that were already on sale are now even more so – think the Metcon 4, Pegasus 34, Zoom Flyknit Racer, among others.

On sale models and colorways that qualify are 20 percent cheaper with code 20SUMMER applied on the cart page. — Will Price

Cheap Patio Furniture
Save Up to 70%: Yes, even in the realm of outdoor furniture and gear, high design has its place – but for the new homeowner or renter, the budget reservoir tends to be on the dryer side once it comes time to outfit the backyard.

Enter, Wayfair’s Summer Outdoor Sale: the sale for the budget-absent owner of a new backyard. Questionable quality, high affordability and acceptable looks combine in a whirlwind of perfectly mediocre outdoor products – a functional porch lamp, a 5-seater sofa that isn’t completely atrocious, an entry-level smoker, a chaise to get a tan on and so, so much more.

The sale encompasses cheap outdoor furniture, grills and accompanying accessories, sheds, waterproof cushions, firepits and even hot tubs, all up to 70 percent off. — Will Price

Clarks Desert Boots
Save $40: Few shoes have the kind of pedigree assigned to the Clarks Desert Boot — a simple suede chukka inspired by the crepe-soled boots worn by British officers in World War II. Right now, you can score a pair in taupe suede for 30 percent off the normal asking price. — Jack Seemer

Indochino Suits on Sale
Save up to 60%: Purchasing a made-to-measure suit is a great way to get that “custom” look without shelling out for a fully bespoke item – you simply choose an available style, enter in your own measurements and order. These days, you don’t even have to visit a physical retailer to get this experience, as many brands allow you to enter your measurements online, and several weeks later, the suit shows up at your doorstep.

Indochino is currently offering up to 60% off their made-to-measure suiting in a multitude of colors, materials and styles – there’s merino, mohair, linen and even a two-piece, teal corduroy option for that one friend whom you feel obliged to invite to the wedding because you’ve known him since kindergarten but whom you’d prefer would generally disassociate himself from you when in public. Customizable options include the number of vents on the jacket, the number of buttons, the lapel type, whether there are pleats on the pants and more. With something for everyone and at these prices, a custom-cut suit is clearly a no-brainer. — Andy Frakes
