Aether’s Dakota Jacket
When winter hits, having a jacket both hefty and handsome is crucial. Aether’s Dakota Jacket ticks both of those boxes.
The Dakota Jacket is a stylish, ultra warm and weatherproof insulated 800-fill-grey-goose down jacket made from waxed canvas that’s ideal for winters in the city. It also features wool-blend ribbing at the collar and cuffs, which adds a touch of refinement. As for storage, there are plenty of exterior and interior pockets to carry all of your necessities on-the-go. Additional features include branded donut snaps with thumb loops that make it easy to close with one hand and a two-way zipper at the center to keep you warm and nimble. A rugged jacket that will get better with time and wear (like your favorite pair of jeans), the Dakota is ready for whatever winter brings.

Sonos One (Bundle of Two)
Save $57: Sonos One speakers are great. I have two in my house, paired with another Play:1 speaker, and the three speakers combine in a seamless multiroom system that I control with my voice. Sonos normally sells its Sonos One speaker for $199 a pop, but it also sells bundle packs of two Sonos One speakers for $379, so you can save $20 if you know you want to buy two. If two Sonos One speakers interest you, eBay is currently discounting the bundle even further – if you use the code PICKUPTEN at checkout, you can get the bundle down to $341. That’ll save you another $37.
Also: If you want to add to your home’s Sonos system, but you don’t need to talk to Alexa, Sonos is still selling refurbished models of its Play:1 speaker for just $119 – that’s $30 off the normal $149 price.
John Varvatos Fingerless Gloves
Save 78%: For the cool autumn months, fingerless knit gloves are something of a necessity. When the temperature dips and the wind picks up, they’ll keep your hands warm, but still easily allow for smartphone use. New York designer John Varvatos offers a classic iteration of the style that is now heavily discounted at Nordstrom Rack. You can pick up a pair in either gray or black for just $15 — that’s savings of 78 percent. — John Zientek
Ami Desert Boots
Save 30%: Parisian brand Ami offers a range of understated wardrobe staples for everyday wear. Designer Alexandre Mattiussi founded the brand in 2011 after working for Dior, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs, and as such, the clothes he creates for Ami are a reaction to the trend-driven garments made by his former high-fashion employers. A great example of the brand’s style is its Desert Boot, a classic three-eye style made from rich brown suede. Featuring a black crepe sole, the boot is both comfortable and versatile. And now at East Dane, it’s 30 percent off and costs $340. While definitely an investment, it’s sure to go with just about everything in your wardrobe. — John Zientek
