Oris Aquis Chronograph
A dive watch with a chronograph function is not something one comes across every day. But, when done properly, this combination can offer a useful elapsed-time measurement complication in a waterproof package for a true statement timepiece.
This is what Oris has achieved in its Aquis Chronograph. Water-resistant down to 500 meters, the Aquis Chronograph achieves high legibility with a dark blue dial that sports white numerals and indices. The multi-piece stainless steel case measures 45.50 mm and features a unidirectional rotating bezel with black ceramic diver’s inlay. The chronograph itself is easily operated with rounded pushers that respond instantly to applied pressure. With its rubber dive strap, the Aquis Chronograph is a wonderful tool that surpasses expectations both in the water and on land.

Red Wing Heritage Pecos Boots
Save 47%: Though many people associate Red Wing with building work boots for farmers and factory employees in the Upper Midwest, the company also had an office in Dallas that opened in the early 1920s. To serve the Texas market where men preferred pull-on riding boots, Red Wing developed its own pull-on boot in the ‘30s. By the ‘50s, it had refined the style and given it the name of a small Texan town. And while the Pecos boot was developed in the rugged West, it quickly became a favorite across the country due to its simple silhouette, comfortable fit and durability.
If that sounds like a boot for you, head over to Nordstrom Rack for a very rare deal. You can save 47 percent on a pair of Pecos boots made with Black Skagway leather from the S.B. Foot Tanning Company in Minnesota. Currently, the style is available in sizes 7 to 10.5 (E width is standard for the Pecos silhouette) and it costs just $160. Pull them on, wear them hard, use them for years — they look equally at home on the ranch and in the city. — John Zientek
