Created to celebrate the International Pi Day, March 14th (which also happens to be Albert Einstein’s birthday), the extravagant PiCycle is a fixed gear bicycle handmade out of carbon fiber.
Shaped as the Pi symbol, the unique bike is the creation of Amsterdam-based “international ideas company” WE ARE Pi. It’s inspired by the drawings of Malaysian illustrator Yau Hoong, who originally came up with the idea for a Pi-shaped bicycle.
Although it looks unworkable, the bike can actually be ridden and it looks a ton of fun, but it’s just a one-off model with no plans of ever being produced commercially.
