Fiiz Folding Bike

Keeping the classic look and proportions of a diamond frame when unfolded, and packing down in just 20 seconds to a bus-friendly size when needed, the Fiiz Folding Bike is the perfect 2-wheeler for the city.

Handmade in Germany, Fiiz can be disassembled without the need for any extra tools. It features a lightweight aluminum frame, SRAM automatic 2-speed shifter, and a low-maintenance and lubricant-free belt. Despite its full-size construction with 26″ wheels, the bike can be easily transported inside a small urban car, when unfolded.

Weighing in at just over 28 lbs, Fiiz can accommodate riders up to 6’2 and is available in different color options. Deliveries start in September/October 2018.

Leaos Pressed Bike

Italy’s design company Leaos has recently unveiled an innovative electric 2-wheeler, dubbed the Pressed Bike. Why innovative? Well, although the naked eye can’t see it, the bike’s entire frame is crafted of two ultralight aluminum sheets welded together.

Available in a single speed configuration, the Pressed Bike is powered by a 250 Watt rear wheel motor connected to a removable battery that offers a range of 56 miles. Top speed is a decent 16 mph.

Weighing in at a total of 31 lb, the bike includes a minimalist digital display, Schwalbe suspension, and disc brakes front & rear. Optional accessories include mudguards, rack & bags, and light system, while the ‘Smart package’ can be configured with a smartphone app, GPS antitheft, code lock, and cloud supervision.

2019 HPC Revolution All-Terrain Bike

Los Angeles-based Hi-Power Cycles have outfitted their already impressive freeride electric bicycle with 4.8” Maxxis Minion tires. The resulting 2-wheeler is the 2019 HPC Revolution AT Bike, or what they tout as “the ultimate backcountry exploration bike in a class that has never existed until now; Downhill Fatbike.”

The fat tires on this bad boy make for excellent floatation and traction in even the softest terrain, without altering the suspension travel. A 14-speed Rohloff Speedhub ensures powerful torque, while a mid-drive motor with a power of up to 3000W offers a whopping 100-mile range and blistering speeds of over 45 mph.

Other details include a total weight of 76 lb, all aluminum 6061-T6 body, fully CNC’d swingarm, custom DVO factory-tuned FAT suspension (9 inches of progressive rate frame travel), and 12” of ground clearance so that you can confidently tackle any terrain that comes your way.

2018 Specialized Stumpjumper Trail Bike

Touted as the ultimate trail bike, the 2018 Specialized Stumpjumper has been developed using extensive mountain-specific tests with feedback from real riders in order to hit the perfect balance of stiffness and handling. The result “is a bike that feels like it’s riding on rails.”

The new Stumpjumper features one of the lightest trail frames on the market and a new sidearm that connects all three mounting points of the rear-end and shock to the frame, making for improved stiffness and better handling over bumps.

Full tubes can be found throughout the carbon frame so riders can easily adjust cable routing, while a new chainstay protector makes the drivetrain virtually silent and eliminates chain slap.

Even better, the bike can be customized however you want. It allows you to swap shocks and fit up to 3.0″ tires, making this 2-wheeler also the most versatile mountain bike Specialized has ever made.

PiCycle

Created to celebrate the International Pi Day, March 14th (which also happens to be Albert Einstein’s birthday), the extravagant PiCycle is a fixed gear bicycle handmade out of carbon fiber.

Shaped as the Pi symbol, the unique bike is the creation of Amsterdam-based “international ideas company” WE ARE Pi. It’s inspired by the drawings of Malaysian illustrator Yau Hoong, who originally came up with the idea for a Pi-shaped bicycle.

Although it looks unworkable, the bike can actually be ridden and it looks a ton of fun, but it’s just a one-off model with no plans of ever being produced commercially.
