Watches and racecars have long been kindred spirits, and chronographs are especially tied to racing due to their ability to record time and compute speed by way of the tachymeter. So, for the third year of its partnership with the Renault Sport Formula One Team, Bell & Ross built a collection of three limited-edition chronographs based on the design of a Formula One racecar chassis.
Each watch case has been engineered from perforated micro-blasted titanium; this material is well-known for its lightness and rigidity, two qualities that are present in the watch’s case. The chronographs all feature hints of Renault’s signature yellow on the dials and rocker pushers to activate the chronographs.
