Ohio-based Lüm-Tec is a bit of a rarity, assembling all its watches (and even watches for a few other brands) in America at its facility in Mentor, Ohio. Its focus is on tough, military-inspired timepieces with — as the brand name suggests — a plethora of the watchmaker’s proprietary luminescence technology on the dial. Adding to that lineup is the brand’s new Combat Field Series, which adds marries the overall look of Lüm-Tec’s stalwart Combat B field watch with vintage-inspired details.

For starters, that lume on the watch’s dial is done up in a warm, tan-colored hue giving the watch a patina’d look right out of the box, while a double-curved sapphire crystal has the domed shape of a vintage watch’s glass. Other details like the coin-edge bezel, onion crown and sword hands help sinch the old-school look. The watch, though, is still a fully-modern timekeeper with the Swiss-made automatic movement inside protected by a shock-absorbing mounting system and Viton gaskets helping achieve a 100-meter depth rating.

Three different models are available, with two different dials on offer and bead-blasted steel or titanium-carbide PVD-coated cases available. Only 100 pieces of each model will be made, and prices will start at $895, but if you pre-order a watch right now you can get a 15 percent discount.
