Suunto 5 GPS Sports Watch

Among smartwatches, only a few brands are willing to take on the great outdoors. The Apple Watch Series 4 and Samsung Galaxy Watch rank might be more popular, but both are lacking durability. On the other hand, companies like Garmin, Casio, and Suunto offer durable wearables that are ready for adventure. For now, let’s focus on the new Suunto 5, GPS-ready smartwatch that will accompany you everywhere.

With a case measuring 46 mm, the Suunto 5 is noticeably smaller than the Suunto 9, which sports a 50 mm case. Buyers can choose from four colors: White, All Black, Graphite Copper, and Burgundy Copper. Personally, we found the Burgundy Copper colorway to be more attractive than the others.

The polished stainless steel bezel and the silicone rubber strap look stylish enough to match most of your wardrobe. The case is made of glass fiber-reinforced polycarbonate, while the display cover is mineral crystal. It’s safe to say that these combinations of materials should make for one sturdy smartwatch that weighs around 66 grams.

The Suunto 5 is being marketed as a GPS sports watch, so it should flexible enough to handle various activities. Moreover, the integrated optical heart rate sensor gives users an insight regarding their overall fitness. The smartwatch is water-resistant up to 50 meters allowing it to even track your swim. At the same time, the built-in GPS can track your location and guide you to where you need to go. Depending on the interval setting, this device can last anywhere from 20 to 40 hours. On the other hand, regular usage with mobile notifications will give you up to 7-day usage time

Armani Exchange Connected Smartwatch

The tech market is an ever-evolving landscape that can surprise both users and manufacturers. The smart wearable segment of the market has seen both up and downs over the years, but it’s not about to fade into irrelevance just yet. Case in point, Apple just jumpstarted the innovation yet again with the Watch Series 4 and its built-in ECG sensor. Samsung just refreshed its catalog with a rebrand of the Galaxy Watch. Now, Armani Exchange Connected smartwatch chimes in just before 2018 ends.

The fashion marque recently joins the list of designer brands that have tried their hands with wearable technology. Recently, we got a chance to preview some entries such as the Diesel On Full Guard 2.5, and for comparison, the latter sports a bigger case with an avant-garde design, while the former opts for a more conventional look. This makes it easier to pair with different outfits may it be casual or formal.

Sadly, the Armani Exchange Connected smartwatch is not yet equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC. Instead, it still uses the outdated Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform. Nevertheless, you still get a capable smart wearable that flaunts a 1.2-inch AMOLED touch display, built-in GPS, an optical heart rate sensor, NFC for Google Pay, and a 300mAh battery.

Apple Watch Hermès Series 4

Apple recently just elevated the Smartwatch game when it introduced the Watch Series 4. The tech industry is abuzz when the company announced a new biometric feature included in the latest version. It’s reportedly recognized as the world’s first wearable that comes with an advanced electrocardiogram system to better monitor your health. Shortly after its launch, the company reveals a fancy new collaboration, the Apple Watch Hermès Series 4.

We know for a fact that there are even more luxurious Android smartwatches on offer by top-class brands. For example, the diamond-encrusted TAG Heuer Connected Full Diamond modular smartwatch clocks in at a staggering $180,000. So technically, its definition of being a luxury-grade version of the fourth-generation Apple smartwatch means that it costs almost as much as the new iPhone XS—priced just north of $1,000 for all variants.

Buyers can look forward to mutltiple variations of the fashionable leather wristbands. The Double Tour model sports a longer strap that’s designed to loop around twice before it’s secured by the buckle. This adds a stylish flair to how the Apple Watch Hermès Series 4 looks on your wrist. What we have next is the Single Tour, which flaunts a regular strap length with two buckle options. One is the standard buckle design, while the other uses a deployment buckle.
