Airstream Nest Travel Trailer

Catering to a younger generation of outdoor travelers, the new Airstream Nest Travel is a 16.6-ft trailer boasting a fresh design and offering a host of comforts into a compact, slick package.

The Nest can carry up to 600 lb inside its two-tone fiberglass shell. It rides on aluminum wheels with 16-in Goodyear Endurance tires and has a torsion suspension axle, standard brakes, LED taillights, and spare tire. Entrance is done via a back door, while a total of six windows bring light into the two-person interior which is available in two-floor plans – one with a sofa-bed/dining area and a second with a fixed Tuft & Needle mattress and a small bench.

A small kitchen inside offers all the necessities, including a sink, gas dual-burner, large worktop, microwave, and 91L electric fridge. Next to the kitchen is a wet bath and the wardrobe is placed in the opposite corner.

Other details include a 24-gal water tank, 30-gal gray water tank, two deep-cycle batteries, USB and 110-V outlets, AC, ducted furnace, hot water heater, powered patio awning with LEDs, outdoor shower, blackout shades and curtains, and more.

Bean Teardrop Trailer

Just released this past week, the Bean Teardrop Trailer may be a newcomer to the RV market but it has all the right ingredients to become a favorite among camping aficionados.

The 14-foot compact trailer is light enough (weighs in at 1,500 lb) to be hauled by most vehicles. Boasting a classic, smooth fiberglass teardrop shell, the caravan is built on a powder-coated tubular steel frame and sports removable fiberglass fenders, torsion axle suspension, and 14-in steel wheels.

The Bean comes standard with a curbside entry door with port window, two windows, dome light, roof vent, insulated cabin with 4-in-thick queen-size mattress, foam backrest, cabinets, integrated floor storage, adjustable shelves, and storage bins and cup holders.

At the rear, a galley hatch offers cabinetry, a dome light, laminate countertop, 12V & AC outlets, and a backsplash, while electrical features include a 12-V, 100-Ah AGM battery, shore power hookup, power converter, solar power port, AC and USB outlets, cabin and galley lights, plus a porch light.

Modul GO Houseboat Concept

It’s just a concept for now but if it comes to market, the Modul GO Houseboat could be a game-changing and inexpensive (kinda) solution for life on the water.

Envisioned by designer Max Zhivov, the houseboat could easily be modified according to customer needs. 10 types of sections would be available, each measuring either 2,4 m or 3,5 m tall x 2,3 m wide, with different types of windows or walls without any openings, plus other options. The sections would be placed on a floating platform with dimensions of 9 x 4.5 m or 13 x 6.5 m, while roof-mounted solar panels would provide the energy needed to run the boat’s electric motors.

The Modul GO could be configured to satisfy specific requirements, serving as a home, cafe, equipment rental point, base for hydroplanes, boat refueling module, cargo variant for transporting of goods and small cars, or even a houseboat vacation village.
