Rosephoria Everlasting Rose
Save 15%: If you’re a good partner, you should get your significant other flowers at least once a month — just as a nice gesture. If you’re lucky, those corner deli flowers might last a week. Toss in premium bouquets for birthdays and anniversaries, and you’re spending a few hundred dollars on flowers that ultimately don’t last that long every year.

Which is where Rosephoria’s Everlasting Rose comes in. It’s a much more practical option: each rose is eco-friendly because it cuts down on waste, lasts up to a year and are a cost-effective alternative to buckets of flowers (the Everlasting rose costs $150 for a 9-inch stem and $190 for an 11-inch). Plus, they look enchanting under the included luxury crystal glass dome. If you fancy yourself a practical (lazy) romantic, consider buying one luxury flower that will be there for days to come.

Use discount code Gear10 for 10% off a Rosephoria Everlasting Rose.

Right now, East Dane is offering 30% off great pairs from trusted brands like Illesteva, Raen, and Le Specs. It’s a great way to save a little bit on a wardrobe essential that you should have around all year long. Just try to hold onto these pairs — deals like this don’t come around often— Justin Fenner

This Is the Arc’teryx Sale You’ve Been Waiting For
Save 30%: Arc’teryx is known for technical quality, not low prices. Right now though you can save 30 percent on one full-priced item from the Vancouver brand at Backcountry. — Tanner Bowden

Some of the Year’s Best Outdoor Products Are on Sale Now
Save up to 50%: Patagonia’s lightest synthetic insulation jacket, one of our favorite new pairs of hiking boots and so much more. — Tanner Bowden

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box
Save up to $157: Utilizing the open real estate on the roof of your car for cargo is a decades-old method of saving on interior space. However, now that modern cars, trucks and SUVs can easily hit 65mph where aerodynamics become a concern means you have to be smarter about how stack gear on your roof. The Thule XT Motion is designed for such a problem. Pack a weekend’s worth of stuff in either the 16-, 18- or 22-cubic foot cargo box and losing MPGs or your duffel bag to highway winds becomes a thing of the past. Today on Amazon you can save up top $157 on a Motion Xt in black or titan grey. — Bryan Campbell

Mophie Wireless Charging Pad
Save $18: If you still haven’t bought a wireless charging pad for your iPhone X, and you know a friend who’s in the same boat, well it’s both your lucky days. That’s because Amazon is selling two Mophie wireless charging pads for pretty cheap. You can get two for just over $60, while Apple is currently selling one for $40. Basically, it’s good to buy in bulk.

Orient Bambino and Mako II
Save up to $155: Right now on Massdrop, you can get a great deal on two of Orient’s most popular timepieces: the dressy, old-school Bambino and the Mako II diver. The former features a slim 40mm case, a domed crystal and a ton of different dial options. The later, meanwhile, boasts a chunky case with a unidirectional rotating bezel and a 200-meter depth rating. Both can be had at exceptionally low prices right now, just $160 for the Bambino (marked down from a $300 MSRP) and $170 for the Mako II (which has a $325 MSRP). — Andrew Connor

Osprey Stratos 24 Daypack
Save 25%: The Osprey Stratos is outfitted with all the pockets, compression straps and access points you’d expect from a backpack company — especially one with a golden reputation among long-distance thru-hikers — but the standout for me has been its mesh back panel. It’s raised and tensioned away from the pack’s main vestibule, which provides a comfy trampoline-like feel and allows lots of air to flow between my back and the bag, which minimizes the sweaty back issue I had used to view as unavoidable. The mesh also integrates into the hip belt, wrapping its arms around my lower torso like a well-studied dance partner for a fit that’s more comfortable than any I’ve known before.

Right now Amazon is offering discounts on all types of Osprey backpacks, and the Stratos is currently 25 percent off. It’s perfect timing for a deal — just in time for fall hiking season. — Tanner Bowden

Levi’s 501 Original-Fit Jeans
Save up to 33%: Some things just don’t go out of style, one of them being the classic American pair of jeans. Right now, Amazon is running a sale of up to 33%-off on Levi’s 501 Original-Fits in a plethora of washes and colors (everything from every conceivable shade of blue to black, white and khaki), so if you’re looking for a button-fly, straight-leg, 5-pocket jean for everyday wear, we recommend stocking up now. — Oren Hartov

Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic
Save up to $275: Hamilton’s Khaki lineup has always provided watch enthusiasts with handsome, military-inspired timepieces at reasonable prices, but now a campaign at Massdrop has two versions of the Khaki Automatic available at a big discount. Choose between the reference H70515137 ($380), which features a black dial and bracelet, or the H70595593 ($420) with a 24-hour dial display and a leather strap. Both are water-resistant to 100 meters and feature Hamilton’s H-10 movement, an automatic featuring the time and date and an impressive 80-hour power reserve. — Andrew Connor

Dyson V10 Cordless Vacuum
Save $50+Dyson’s mighty V10 cordless vacuum released just a few months ago. It’s impressive enough for the brand to shut down R&D on corded vacuums for good upon its launch. To date, it’s the most powerful cordless vacuum ever made.

These things combined make today’s discount on all three types of V10 all the more rare. The Absolute, Animal and Motorhead models are 14, 17 and 10 percent off, respectively. The only difference between each is the number of extra, task-specific vacuum heads that comes with your order (a breakdown of which heads come with which can be found here). This is the first time the entire line has been on sale. — Will Price

CamelBak Arete 18 on Sale
Save $17 Staying hydrated on a summer hike or run is imperative to your performance. And the sun can take more out of you than you think. An easy way to keep water at the ready is to wear a hydration pack. The CamelBak Arete 18 holds up to 50-ounces of gear in addition to 1.5-liters of water. An ultralight pack has a removable sternum strap so you can tackle any level of hike and feel like the bag is moving with you, not against you. It folds up to comfortably fit in a suitcase, and when you flip it inside out, it works as an insulated reservoir sleeve, so that you can use it in a larger pack as well. Pick one up today for just $48.
— Meg Lappe

Now Is the Best Time to Get a Discounted Down Jacket
Save More Than 50%: The end of August is no time for speculations on the changing of the seasons. It’s easy to declare summer’s end, but given recent trends, it may not be true — chances are the warm weather will continue for another month before fall begins to show its face. Cold weather will come though, and despite reluctance to admit to that, it can’t hurt to think ahead.

That’s especially true now, given Backcountry’s current sale on insulating jackets. The outdoor retailer has been running deep discounts on all types of gear and apparel through August, but for this weekend only it’s offering an additional 20 percent off insulation in particular. Given that the down jacket — or synthetic down jacket — is the keystone of lightweight winter warmth, (and that they’re usually pretty pricey), it’s a smart time to consider the winds and flurries yet to come. The extra discount brings quality pieces like Patagonia’s Nano-Air down from $299 to $144, or Black Diamond’s First Light from $229 to $119. — Tanner Bowden

Bose QC30 Noise-Canceling Earphones
Save $50: Whether you prefer in-ear or over-ear noise-canceling headphones, Bose arguably makes the best models of both. Its QC35 IIs are the most comfortable over-ear models that I’ve ever tried. And it’s QC30s are definitely the best in-ear ANC headphones you can buy. Now, Amazon is selling both Bose headphones at $50 off. The QC35 IIs cost $299, down from their normal $349. And the QC30s cost $249, down from their normal $299.

Montage Towels
Save 15%: Drying off with a sopping wet towel is not how anyone should start their morning. Made from 100 percent long-stapled cotton, Montage bath towels are woven with a curved weave, meaning they’re lightweight, breathable and dry more quickly than the average bath towel. This not only results in a better overall feel, one that’s both soft and absorbent, it reduces the chances that your daily towel grows mold or microscopic bacteria. Unless, of course, you like that sort of thing.

Use discount code GP15 for 15% off your entire Montage order.

Now on Sale: Non-essential Gear That Makes Camping More Fun
Save up to 25%: It’s the non-essential gear that makes camping enjoyable — things like hatchets and lanterns and hammocks. Right now, these things are on sale for up to 25 percent off at Huckberry. — Tanner Bowden

Junghans Max Bill Mechanical Watch
Save $160: The Junghans Max Bill is a delightful timepiece that refuses to change. The watch’s Bauhaus aesthetic has barely evolved since its legendary Swiss designer Max Bill first penned the dial design in the 1950s. This model here is powered by a Swiss-made ETA 2801-2 hand-winding movement that’s packed up in a sleek, 34mm case. Yes, that’s fairly small, but it’s in line with the watch sizes of the era in which the Junghans was originally designed (the thin bezel and large dial also make it wear a bit larger than it really is, too). The Max Bill also happens to be very affordably priced, with an MSRP of $690, but you can get it even cheaper from Massdrop right now for just $530. — Oren Hartov

Aether End of Season Sale
Save up to 60%: Aether rarely has sales, whether its lifestyle clothing and accessories or motorcycle gear. So when select items across the site are on sale up to 60% off, it naturally demands attention. — Bryan Campbell

DeLonghi Nespresso Maker
Save 50%>The beauty of Nespresso machines is not the quality of the final product. Frankly, most machines make espressos that are virtually indistinguishable from one another. If you’ve never used one, they’re basically espresso versions of Keurig machines — easy, efficient producers of OK-tasting beverages. Hence why this deal on DeLonghi’s slightly sturdier, less plasticky Nespresso maker is worth pulling the trigger on. Though most of the items in its product description (the ones in caps) are either inconsequential or dubious (“Barista Grade”…), it does hold a lot more water than most, and is operated with a single button. — Will Price

Kershaw Scallion Pocket Knife
Save up to 69%: What makes a good everyday knife? Small blades have proven time and again that it isn’t always size. Kershaw’s Scallion is a testament to this idea. Created as a little brother to the company’s ever-classic Leek, the Scallion is a pocketable flipper with a 2.25-inch drop-point blade. The Scallion is built with the Ken Onion-designed SpeedSafe system, an assisted opening mechanism that helps the blade pop out rapidly but that doesn’t fall under the classification of a switchblade. Inside, the Scallion has a liner lock to keep its blade safely in place, and there’s a sliding Tip-Lock for additional assurance when the knife is closed.

Kershaw has dressed up the Scallion in various colors and with different handles over the years, and right now a handful of these different styles are on sale at Amazon for as much as 69% off. — Tanner Bowden

Frye Will Lace-Up and Rainer Chelsea Boots
Save 49%: More often than not, when you hear ‘Italian leather’ the assumption is it’s too delicate to be worn or used every day. To prove that stigma completely wrong are the Will Lace-Up and Rainer Chelsea boots by Frye — two opposite style boots, both with timeless style and the same deal of 49% off. — Bryan Campbell

Adidas, Asics and Brooks Running Sneakers on Sale
Save 50% With fall racing season right around the corner, now is a good time to start thinking about a new pair of shoes. Right now, JackRabbit is offering up to 50 percent off on a variety of running sneakers from Adidas, Altra, Asics, Brooks, Nike and more. Edgecraft Trizor Electric Knife Sharpener
Save $120: The knife is perhaps the most essential tool for any chef, novice or expert. It’s no good if it’s not sharp though (actually, a dull knife can become dangerous in the kitchen). Having a trustworthy sharpener on-hand quickly becomes crucial. Edgecraft’s Trizor Electric Knife Sharpener is pro-grade, and uses a three-phase, spring-controlled system that works on both plain and serrated edges of any thickness and can bring the standard 20-degree edge down to a finer (read: sharper) 15-degree cutting plane.

It doesn’t matter what your cooking tastes like, if you’re serious about the process, you need a sharp knife, period. Right now Edgecraft’s sharpener is $120 (that’s 57 percent) less than its regular full price. — Tanner Bowden

Rancourt & Co. Sneakers
Save up to 30%: Rancourt & Co. is an American shoe company, keeping the dream of Maine-made footwear alive with its operations in Lewiston, Maine. While the brand is probably best known for its boots, dress shoes and loafers, the brand dabbles in classy-looking, high-end sneakers. Right now you can get a few pairs up to 30 percent off at Huckberry, including pairs made from canvas, as well as Chromexcel leather uppers. — Andrew Connor

Nisolo Handmade Boots and Shoes
Save up to 80%: With mega factories cranking out shoes one after another, the artisan shoemaker has all but vanished. Those that are left are a special and skilled group of individuals, and the footwear they craft is unique and often expensive. In celebration of Summer’s end, Nisolo, a footwear brand that works with an accomplished group of shoemakers based in Peru’s third-largest city, Trujillo, is offering up a selection of its handmade footwear for up to 80 percent off. The brand’s Chelsea boots, loafers and even sneakers — all made by hand — have never been more affordable.

Roomba Vacuums
Save Up to 25%>Roomba has dominated the robot vacuum market so thoroughly it’s become a generic trademark. Ask a group of people what the best robo-vacuum is and they’d probably scratch their heads, but they almost certainly know what a Roomba is. This all said, iRobot’s (the company that makes Roombas) prized floor cleaner does not come cheap. Luckily, three of its models — the budget-conscious 690, the multi-floor cleaning 960 and the all-powerful 980 — are discounted up to 25 percent off today. — Will Price

Bodum Cold Brew Coffee System
Save 83%>As we’ve harped on before, making cold brew coffee is remarkably forgiving, easy and cheap. The process, abridged: add water to coffee grounds (freshly ground and roasted, preferably), allow mixture to rest at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours, filter grounds and put concentrate in fridge (it’s good up to two weeks).

This all said, having a dedicated spot to make your cold brew is ideal, and you won’t find a better or cheaper option than Bodum’s 1.5-liter cold brew press, which is more than 80 percent off right now. It holds enough cold brew concentrate (you should dilute the concentrate with milk or water before drinking) to last you a week to a week and a half, depending on rate of consumption, and you don’t have to worry about replacing or cleaning filters like you would with most popular cold brew systems. The only difference in the brew process for Bodum’s cold brew press and typical cold brew is pressing the plunger down once the proper amount of time has elapsed.

The Bodum Bean Cold Brew Coffee Maker, which retails for $58, is just $10 right now. — Will Price

Nemo Equipment on Sale

Apple 13-Inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (mid-2017)
Save $400:If you’re looking for a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, there are several models to choose from. You can still find some late-2016 models floating around sites like Amazon and eBay, but Apple doesn’t sell those anymore; that’s because, in summer 2017, Apple released upgraded models with newer Kaby Lake chipsets, newer graphics cards and faster SSD storage. Then there are the new MacBook Pros (w/ Touch Bar) ever in July 2018, which are super powerful and significantly more expensive. For most people, the “mid-2017” models with Touch Bar will be more sufficient, right now you can get a really good deal on one: B&H is selling a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (mid-2017) for $1,399, which is $400 off its normal price.

Enter the ELAC Debut 2.0 B5.2 bookshelf speakers. They sound accurate, with smooth and crisp highs, yet they still have punchy bass, thanks to each speaker’s 1-inch silk dome tweeter and 5.25-inch aramid-fiber woofer; Crutchfield says they’re “both easy on the wallet and a pleasure to listen to.” The speakers normally go for $250, but Amazon slashed $50 off of that today — it’s the lowest price that we’ve seen on these particular speakers.

Bulova Lunar Pilot Chronograph
Save $30:Plenty of watches that aren’t the Omega Speedy have been worn into space — we’ve even written a cool roundup of our favorites. And one of the coolest space watches of all was the Bulova chronograph that served as a backup when Dave Scott’s NASA-issued Speedy broke during the Apollo 15 mission in 1971. The Bulova kept perfect time throughout that mission and lived on to fetch over $1.6 million at auction in 2015. The brand’s Accutron technology, memorialized in one of my favorite Mad Men scenes of all time, was also used in the instrument panels of spacecraft flown through the 1960s and 70s. Needless to say, the Accutron tech has proved its worth.

This iteration of the watch is sold straight from Bulova for $650, with the steel bracelet option going for $695, making the $295 Amazon price tag a truly over-the-moon value. — Andy Frakes

The jackets are warm, lightweight and packable, making them easy to stow away until you’re actually ready to wear them. But act fast. A deal like this won’t last long.— Justin Fenner

Arc’teryx Beta LT Jacket
Save 30%: The Beta LT sets the bar for all other technical wet-weather shells, and at a list price of $525, one would certainly hope so. But there are loads of expensive jackets out there, many of them featuring Gore-Tex fabrics and sophisticated construction.

So why choose this one? The fit, for one, is a cut above the competition; a slightly-extended rear hem fits comfortably under a climbing harness, the hood is cut with enough room to wrap over a skiing or climbing helmet and the trim fit through the body keeps the all-important interior layers closer to your skin. All these elements come together to help make the best use of the carefully-chosen fabrics and sealed seam placements.

All in all, you’re getting a Gore-Tex Pro shell with the great styling and attention to detail that Arc’teryx is known for, making for an outer layer that can keep you dry and comfortable season after season. Simplehuman 38-Liter Trash Bin
Save $30: We’ve tried to tell you before about the virtues of Simplehuman’s sleek and sturdy garbage bins — and how when they go on sale, the value jumps from “good” to “excellent.”

So why pay upwards of $100 for a place to put your trash? It might be hard to believe, but Simplehuman’s bins actually are that much better than the average plastic or steel bin you might already have in your kitchen. These over-engineered bins are practically a home-improvement investment, because you’re unlikely to ever need a new one. The lid-lift pedals on every Simplehuman model are built to withstand 150,000+ actuations, the soft-close lids are damn near airtight (odors in, bugs and curious pets out), and every unit comes with a 10-year warranty. Save 20%: Packing for a trip, especially one out into the wilderness, can be stressful. Adventure Medical Kits makes a collection of pre-arranged packable kits geared to specific uses. Like the Whitetail, which is currently 20 percent off, and is designed for hunting and fishing trips. It weighs under a pound and includes bandages, wound care essentials, blister and burn care items, a CPR face shield, common medications, and essential tools like shears and tape. If it’s time to replace your beloved pair of jeans, right now would be a good time to do it. Nordstrom Rack’s current denim sale is discounting a selection of great styles from brands like Levi’s, Mavi, Lucky Brand and other stylish companies by up to 58 percent.— Justin Fenner

The Perfect Early Fall Jacket
Save 50% We get that in a lot of different parts of the country, it’s still too hot to even think about wearing a jacket. But winter, as they say, is coming, and before it gets here, temperatures are going to cool off enough to warrant a lightweight layer. To get ready for that inevitability, we propose Todd Snyder’s excellent take on the classic four-pocket jacket.— Justin Fenner

Moleskine Travel Notebooks
Save Over 30%: Moleskine makes some of the most popular travel notebooks on the planet. Despite one of my former colleagues going a bit overboard — calling the notebooks “a Starbucks trope” — I love them and always seem to have one in my bag. Bodum 3-Cup French Press
Save 33%>There are many coffee brewing styles, all with very different difficult levels and technique requirements. You could teach yourself proper pour-over technique or the finer points of making a cup in an Aeropress, or you could use a French press. The best part? French presses are nearly always cheaper than every other brew method — especially today.

Bodum’s presses are lauded for their simple, straightforward and cheap approach to pressing coffee through a mesh filter, and its most affordable option is marked down to a whopping $10 on Wayfair right now. This 3-cup press is dishwasher-safe, hard to break and, naturally, doesn’t require the stocking and re-stocking of paper filters. — Will Price

And it’s QC30s are definitely the best in-ear ANC headphones you can buy. Now, Amazon is selling both Bose headphones at $50 off. The QC35 IIs cost $299, down from their normal $349. And the QC30s cost $249, down from their normal $299.

Alpina Alpiner Automatic
Save 65%: Alpina is a Swiss watch brand with a penchant for making accessibly priced, vintage style tool watches, but a campaign on Massdrop has one of the brand’s most basic watches, the Alpiner Automatic, at a massive discount: about 65 percent off. So, for just $500, you can get a well-rounded watch that features an automatic movement (basically a Sellita SW200), a handsome dial and a stainless steel bracelet. If you’ve been looking for a simple, reasonably-priced piece to dip your toes into mechanical watches, you can’t do much better than this. — Andrew Connor

Lawn Mowers, Hedge Trimmers and Leaf Blowers
Save Up to 80%>For those of us lucky enough to have a yard, today’s eBay sale is for you.

Markdowns up to 80 percent off established, trusted yardwork brands like Husqvarna, Dewalt and Makita are all over the place (as are the “Almost gone!” stickers). Take an 18-volt cordless chainsaw for $480 cheaper than retail, or a manual push mower for more than 80 percent off. Save an additional 15 percent on any one item with code POPULAR at checkout. — Will Price

Lodge Square 10.5-Inch Skillet
Save 58%>Lodge’s cast-iron skillets are the benchmark for American-made cookware that’s affordable and doesn’t completely suck, and one of its best products is half-off today.

The 10-and-a-half-inch squared cast-iron skillet isn’t as iconic as the traditional circle, but it’s every bit as functional — particularly at cooking more pieces of bacon and pork belly. There’s one key difference to keep in mind with the squared version — season it upside down. All bare cast iron needs to be regularly seasoned, of course, but the squared version has corners, corners that act as little hangout spots for oil to coagulate and pool — resulting in uneven, ugly and ineffectual seasoning.

Apart from that, the only thing you need to know about this skillet is that it usually sells for twice the price it is today. — Will Price

Grid Wallet
Ever see the Seinfeld episode where George’s behemoth bi-fold wallet is so overstuffed it hurts his back? The wallet ultimately explodes, throwing his receipts all over the streets of Manhattan in typical George Costanza fashion. The latest minimalist wallet from GRID Wallet is essentially the exact opposite of George’s, which is a wonderful thing.

Forged from carbon fiber, its machined plates also offer RFID theft protection for the 12 cards it can house. It also features a money clip on the outside for cash and a thumb slot for straightforward removal of any card you need in a snap. As is always good advice in life, don’t be like George Costanza.

The 6mm thin GRID Wallet Forged Carbon is currently available for pre-order at a special price of $75, with shipping scheduled for August 25th.

AGV AX-8 DS EVO Grunge Helmet
Save $180: Showing off the fact a motorcycle helmet is made from carbon fiber with a clear coat of paint is nothing new. It’s a state of the art material, lightweight and generally expensive — it makes sense people would want to brag about it. Where the AGV AX-8 DS EVO Grunge Helmet is it’s made from a carbon, Kevlar and fiberglass composite, which sports tones of red, yellow and a purple hue. It’s not as glamorous as carbon fiber, but then again, it does channel ’90s grunge, so why would it be?— Bryan Campbell

This Bundle Includes My Favorite New Wallet
Save 21%: There’s something about a wallet that makes us hang onto it. It can be overly drawn-out — sometimes we outgrow our billfolds (there is a point when Velcro doesn’t pass), and sometimes we outlive them (excessive rips and tears don’t count as patina).

I recently came up against a point of transition with my wallet. It was a leather bifold that I’ve carried since high school (I bought it from Brooks Brothers using store credit earned after exchanging some less-flattering sweaters given to me by my grandmother), and it was well-worn but still in good shape. My issue with it was that it had become cumbersome, and removing even a single business card would throw the tension of its sleeves out of whack, causing the rest of the contents to fall out too. It was time to start over.

If I was going to abandon my old standby along with the shine, flexibility and soft feel earned over years of use, I was going to do two things — one, buy a worthy replacement made with quality materials and two, slim it down. It forced me to reevaluate all the random mementos I uselessly carried every day: stickers, membership cards, receipts. I was reluctant to approach this task, so I decided to pick the wallet first and let its capacity dictate what to keep and what to go without.

I landed on Bellroy’s Slim Sleeve wallet. I’ll spoil the end of the story by admitting that I’m obsessed with the damn thing and wish that I had discovered it years ago. It’s nearly a third of the size of my old wallet and easily holds everything (license, credit cards, Metrocard) that I use frequently, and still some that I don’t. I don’t have to fight my jeans to remove it from a pocket, and no chiropractor will diagnose any future back issues I may encounter as a result of it being on my person. I’m confident that when mine wears out, I’ll pick up another.

If your wallet is tattered, or just too large, give the Slim Sleeve your consideration. It’s currently on sale at Huckberry in a bundle with an equally-slim key organizer for 21 percent off. — Tanner Bowden

Definitive Technology Sound Bar
Save 40%:Definitive Technology’s W Studio Micro is a terrific soundbar-and-subwoofer combo. It works with virtually any TV out there. It sounds great, featuring three 1-inch aluminum dome tweeters and four 1- by 3-inch mid-range drivers. And its wireless subwoofer adds the extra bass you’d want while watching a Christopher McQuarrie flick. All told, you’re getting the kind of sound you’d expect from high-end speakers in a package that’s compact enough to virtually disappear beneath your TV.

Usually sold for $899, the W Studio Micro is currently backordered on Definitive Technology’s website, but you can find the 3.1 system on Amazon for just $499. If you’re in the market for a great home theater system, this one is on the cheap. — Andy Frakes

Bose QuietComfort 35 II Noise-Canceling Headphones
Save $50: The Bose QuietComfort 35 IIs are some of the best wireless, noise-canceling headphones you can buy. If you’d like to learn more about them, you can read our review — here – but there’s a good chance that you already know all about them. If that’s the case, here’s a tidbit that you didn’t know: you can buy the QC35 IIs on Amazon, in black or silver models, for $299 — that’s $50 off the regular $349 MSRP.

Anker Quick Charge 3.0 Dual USB Wall Charger
Save 74%: Amazon just drastically dropped the price of one of my favorite gadgets: Anker’s little dual-port wall charger. Normally $70, it’s now just $18. I have one of these in my apartment and it’s just super convenient – it allows me to charge my iPhone and iPad (or Nintendo Switch) at the same time, and I don’t waste an outlet on a second wall adapter. If you have multiple devices and find that you also have to decide which of the two you’d rather have charged, this wall adapter simply eliminates that dilemma. Plus it supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology, so it’s going to charge your smaller devices (smartphone, tablet, etc.) as fast as possible.

Now at Need Supply, you can save 50 percent on this limited-edition release. The classic styles are a serious upgrade to their canvas counterparts and cost just over $60, putting them just at, or under, the price of their canvas counterparts. — John Zientek

Benchmade Mini Griptilian Pocket Knife
Save 20%: You’ve probably come into contact with Benchmade’s Griptilian before, even if you haven’t been aware of it. Benchmade is easily one of the best-respected knife manufacturers in operation, and its simple drop-point folder is one of its most established blades. Originally designed by custom maker Mel Pardue, the Griptilian has since expanded into a family of practical pocket knives that can be configured with various blade shapes, finishes, types of steels, handle materials and colors.

The Mini Griptilian is the more pocket-friendly version of Pardue and Benchmade’s classic. It’s modified drop-point blade features two thumb studs for assisted opening and is just under three inches in length. It features Benchmade’s AXIS locking mechanism and a pocket clip that can be realigned for left or right carry. It’s a slightly smaller version that stands up to the reputation of the original, and it’s currently on sale for 20 percent off at Backcountry — use the code CAMPCLIMB20 at checkout. — Tanner Bowden

Save $70: This little Roku TV won’t blow you away with specs. It’s 32-inches, which is tiny. And it lacks 4K resolution, only producing a 720p picture. However, if you’re looking to connect your old cable box or retro gaming console, this is a fine TV to consider. It has several HDMI ports, which is rare for a TV so small, and Wirecutter named it as the best LCD/LED TV for small rooms. Normally $200, you can get this TCL smart TV for $130 on Amazon today. Duxtop Induction Cooktop
Save 50%>This well-reviewed Duxtop model, which is half off its usual price today, is the savior of your dorm, apartment or otherwise tiny living space that doesn’t have a range or stove. What does induction mean? Plug it into the wall, set a temperature (100 to 460 degrees) and cook. It’s all of 14 inches wide and 11 inches deep.

Induction cooktops, for the uninitiated, operate via electrifying a coil inside the device, which in turn generates a magnetic field. The cooktop does not provide heat on its own — only when you place a pan (stainless steel or cast-iron, copper an aluminum don’t work) on the “burner” is heat generated by way of the magnetic field charging currents through the pan. What does that actually mean? The pan can heat and change temperature very quickly, per your input on the cooktop. Induction cooktops will bring water to a boil faster, be ready to sear faster and anything else that relies on the heating of a pan in cooking.

The Duxtop induction cooktop is marked down from $150 to $75 for today only. — Will Price

The Transit Line is made up of three bags: the Sling Pocket, the Rolltop Messenger and the Travel Pack. The result is a line of bags focused on organization that doesn’t sacrifice on style and will fit your lifestyle — whether you need a large travel bag for weekend getaways, a rolltop messenger bag for daily carry in the city or a minimalist bag to carry nothing but the essentials.

L.L. Bean Packaway Jacket
Save $125: In the wake of So you’ve developed a lust for Patagonia’s Nano Puff jacket; I don’t blame you. A few months ago I wrote my love letter to the puffy coat — how it accompanied me everywhere from the Tetons to the Andes and now lives dutifully by my side in Manhattan, far from any mountains. I recommitted to my vows by buying the anorak pullover version, too.
If you haven’t committed to the Nano Puff just yet, and price is the primary factor holding you back, there’s another option: L.L.Bean’s Primaloft Packaway Jacket, which is on sale today for just $75 when you use code SAVE25 at checkout from L.L. Bean’s site. I know what you’re thinking — it’s not Patagonia — and I get that. The Patagonia brand has a particular magnetism to it. But, like Patagonia, L.L.Bean is also a heritage outdoor brand that is, objectively, iconic.
Both the Nano Puff and the Packaway possess a 100% recycled polyester, water-repellent shell cut with two hand pockets and another interior chest pocket. The Packaway has an additional exterior chest pocket as well. Both have drawcord-equipped hems. The jackets are nearly identical. And while love and loyalty keep me true to the Nano Puff, I will admit that the addition of Cross Core insulation does give the Packaway one-up over Patagonia’s jacket.
And the Packaway has another advantage to it as well: it’s only $75 today, which is a full $125 cheaper than the Nano Puff, which costs $199. If you aren’t drawn to one brand over the other, or a specific color, the choice is an easy one to make. — Tanner Bowden

Vintage Turkish Rugs
Save 15%>When Revival Rugs launched it had a single, hopeful goal in mind — to sell exceptional, old-school Turkish rugs at prices that don’t physically repel a normal person. It’s done that and then some, selling a myriad of style and pile rugs to people since opening shop last year. The premise — selling vintage handwoven rugs made with handspun wool for reasonable prices — typically doesn’t allow much room for sales. That’s what makes today’s deals a decent grab.

Thirteen different style, size and pile rugs are 15 percent off right now on Huckberry (five others are already out of stock). — Will Price

Levi’s Short Sleeve Shirts
Save up to 35%: The summer is far from over and some of the hottest days are still ahead. If you’re looking for a new wardrobe addition fit for the sweltering heat, Nordstrom has you covered. Currently you can save up to 35 percent on short sleeve shirts from Levi’s. Available in a few different styles, these indigo shirts will keep you looking good and staying cool through the dog days. — John Zientek

Dyson V7 Car+Boat
Save $50: In the wake of Dyson’s latest and greatest, the V10, a cordless power monster that spells the end of Dyson’s foray into corded uprights, you may wonder what the point of a small handheld is — especially if it lacks a longer stick for day-to-day cleaning.

No matter how you spin it, though, the V7 Car+Boat is an excellent vacuum. It’s lightweight, perfect for quick jobs and well worth the money… just not at full price. Today, Dyson’s selling the V7 for $190. That’s $50 off retail and the lowest price ever for the brand’s most powerful handheld to date. — Jack Seemer

Dainese HF D1 Perforated Leather Jacket
Save Up to $200: It’s hard to tell whether we’re in the middle of a hellishly long heatwave or if this is just how hot summers are going to be from now on. Either way, you’ll still need protection when you go out for a ride and if you’re not a fan of the tactical textile look, leather the next logical option. Except, in this type of heat, leather is torturous unless you’re trying to shed a few pounds of water weight before you get to your point B. There’s a way around looking like you just jumped in a pool of your own sweat and still hold on to some vintage style in the process — perforation. — Bryan Campbell

Soma 6-Cup Water Filter & Carafe
Save 40%:No matter how “good” you think your tap water is, chances are it could be a lot better. And you could buy cases of bottled water, sure, and feel good about recycling all that plastic. But why would you want to schlep heavy cases of H2O up the stairs every week when you’ve got a damn faucet — which literally only exists for giving you water — right in front of you?

In case you haven’t heard of Soma yet, it’s the answer to your tap water woes. The simple water filtration system is ubiquitous in millennial homes everywhere because it’s simple and very good at what it does. And, in at least my opinion, it’s worth every cent of its $50 MSRP. But thanks to a special deal from our friends at Sierra Trading Post, this little beauty drops to $30 (and into your shopping cart) faster than you can say “I’m thirsty.”

Save $220: The Bambino gets all the attention when it comes to Orient’s handsome, accessibly-priced automatics, but the Sentinel is a bit of a sleeper in the lineup. The Sentinel has less of an emphasis on retro style and attempts to blur the line between sporty and dressy, and the result is a watch you can wear for all occasions. Coming in at 40.5mm in diameter and 11.5mm thick, it’s relatively compact for such an accessibly-priced automatic, and with a 50-meter water-resistance rating it won’t mind getting a little wet, either. Right now, Massdrop is offering the watch for $95, both in black and blue dial colors. That’s a massive drop from the watch’s $315 MSRP, though, more realistically, the watch consistently sells elsewhere online for around $130. Still, that makes it a temptingly cheap buy. — Andrew Connor

Patagonia Lightweight Synchilla Snap-T Pullover
Save $56: Patagonia practically invented the fleece — oh wait, it did invent the fleece, back in 1981 through a collaboration with materials manufacturer Malden Mills, now known as Polartec. That’s 37 years of fleece knowledge and experience, so it makes sense that Patagonia’s Synchilla has become an icon beyond the community of climbers and campers who embraced it in the first place. They favored it for its lightness and its ability to provide warmth, even when wet. These things, along with comfort and a particularly casual outdoorsy style, have helped the fleece establish itself firmly in the mainstream.

Patagonia’s fleece hasn’t’ changed all that much since the original beyond some tweaks for additional durability and increased sourcing of recycled material — it’s as great as it always has been.

Heimplanet Transit Bags
Heimplanet first made its mark in 2011 when it launched The Cave, an inflatable tent based on the crystalline structure of a diamond. The brand’s latest endeavor is born out of the fluidity of life between travel, work and play, aiming to create a line of bags that can transition between all three facets.

The Transit Line is made up of three bags: the Sling Pocket, the Rolltop Messenger and the Travel Pack. The outer shell of each bag is made from ultra-durable DYECO, a sustainable material Heimplanet developed specifically for this line that uses two different dope-dyed yarns intertwined into an irregular ballistic weave.

In case you haven’t heard of Soma yet, it’s the answer to your tap water woes. The simple water filtration system is ubiquitous in millennial homes everywhere because it’s simple and very good at what it does. And, in at least my opinion, it’s worth every cent of its $50 MSRP. But thanks to a special deal from our friends at Sierra Trading Post, this little beauty drops to $30 (and into your shopping cart) faster than you can say “I’m thirsty.”

That’s 40% off the list price, and at least 40% more clean, taste-free tap water that you can gulp down during this hellish heat wave. — Andy Frakes

Eddie Bauer EverTherm Down Jacket
Save $120: Last year, Eddie Bauer released its EverTherm Down Jacket and changed our perception of what down can look like. Rather than a horde of tiny feathers stuffed into horizontal baffles, EverTherm’s insulation is arranged in fabric-like sheets called Thindown. The construction prevents the need for that quilted look but also eliminates cold spots created by stitching, producing more warmth for less weight.

The EverTherm’s innovation was undeniable on paper, and when we put the jacket to the test last fall and winter, we found that it wasn’t all marketing jargon. The coat is impressive, and it’s certainly worthy of use in the mountains and around town too (the lack of baffles makes it look less technical than most down jackets, which could be a boon to city-dwellers). For these reasons, we named it one of the best of the year included it in our guide to the Best Down Jackets.

The EverTherm is only in its second season, but with Eddie Bauer’s current weekend sale you can snag it for 40 percent — that’s $120 — less than full price. If you need a down jacket for the inevitable cold of late fall and winter, the EverTherm is a great option to consider. And if you like the baffled look, check out Eddie Bauer’s MicroTherm jacket ($149 with the discount).

And they offer arguably the best noise-canceling of any ANC headphones on the market. They’re also almost virtually identical to the company’s previous wireless ANC headphones, the Bose QC35 (Series I). The only real difference is the older QC35 headphones lack the QC 35’s “action” button, which is located on its left ear cup and used to initiate Google Assistant. If you can survive without this, and I’m guessing most people can, you can save $50 on the Bose QC35 (Series I). It’s discounted on both Amazon’s and Best Buy’s websites, but only in the silver model. — Tucker Bowe |

High-End Lighting
Save Up to 70%>YLighting is a website you’d typically go to for drool-worthy lighting fixtures, lamps and pendants. The webstore stocks lighting from legendary lightmakers like Anglepoise, George Nelson, FLOS and Tom Dixon, and as such places its wares at mostly unattainable price points. Its warehouse sale, going on right now, may be the cheapest you’ll ever see these brands.

The sale sees 1,200 high-end lights marked down up to 60 percent, all with additional 10 percent off thanks to code 10MORE (and free shipping). The catch? The products are all open box returns and the sales are final. The items are new quality but were sent back to the company. The sale is going on through the weekend and stocks are very limited. — Will Price

Tumi Briefcases

If you’re looking to pick up an office-ready bag for a good deal, East Dane is currently offering 30 percent off a few tasteful options from Tumi. Even with the discount the prices aren’t cheap, but that’s to be expected from a reputable brand like Tumi. — John Zientek

Take 50% off great fall outerwear Most guys haven’t even started thinking about buying a jacket for fall yet. But maybe that’s because most guys don’t yet know about Coach’s awesome 50% off sale, which is discounting everything from leather jackets to sharp M65s.— Justin Fenner

Dyson Animal Ball Vacuum
Save $75:With its latest cordless vacuum, Dyson declared itself done with vacuums of the corded variety. Other than the obvious fact that the brand sees cordless vacuums as the way into the future, it also means cheaper corded vacuums. Cheaper corded vacuums like this four-year-old Animal Ball vacuum, that’s at its lowest price ever.

The Ball vacuum is corded, it’s heavier than the wireless vacuums (just over 15 pounds) and it’s more difficult to store in most situations as well. But, functionally, it’s on-par with any wireless vacuum they’ve made. It’s got a wider head, won’t need charging (the V10 requires multiple hours to fully charge) and sports enough suction to pull hair, grime, dirt and coins from virtually any surface. This model is a manufacturer refurbished piece, meaning it was sent back to Dyson and they ran performance tests to ensure it still performs up to standard. Today this beast of a vacuum is $200, $75 off its usual price. — Will Price

Timex Marlin
Save $30: For most of the time since it came out late last year, the Time Marlin — the brand’s first hand-winding mechanical watch in years — has spent the majority of the time either full-price or sold out (and thus marked up on the second-hand market). For the last couple of months, though, Timex seems to have put the handsome vintage-inspired piece back in stock for the long haul. Better still, it appears the watch has gotten its first markdown (that we know of) on Huckberry. At a 15 percent drop in price, it’s not exactly a fire sale, but it’s nothing to sneeze at either, and it makes the already-affordable mechanical piece even more accessible. At just $169 there’s no doubt you’re getting a ton of bang for your buck. — Andrew Connor

A.P.C. Surplus Sale
Save 50%>A.P.C.’s Surplus Sale has just begun and it’s basically a very big web page full of great gear from past seasons.

Though you might expect a French fashion brand born in the ’80s to be a bit more, well, loud, A.P.C. is decidedly quiet. Its founder, Jean Touitou, once told Business of Fashion “There are too many fashion shows, too much loss of quality, too many parties.” Basically, his company is in the business of making classics, as cliché as that sounds. This begs the question why it should matter if the goods available at or around 50 percent off during this sale are a year or two years old — if you aim to make timeless goods, shouldn’t 2017’s jeans be pretty similar to 2018’s?

A lot is packed into this sale, so we’ve picked a few of our favorite items below (including one of the best basic white t-shirts you can buy). As of publishing, plenty of sizing and color options were available. — Will Price

Mismo Bags
Save 30%: In 2003, Rikke Overgaard and Adam Alexander Bach founded the understated bag brand Mismo. What started as a line of elegant everyday bags to counter the ubiquitous nylon bags of the early aughts has grown into a full-fledged collection including backpacks, weekenders and tote bags. The Danish brand’s tenets are rooted in simplicity, functionality and durability, and as such, the clean designs utilize Italian fabrics and are crafted in Turkey. If you’re in need of a well-made bag and aren’t interested in American waxed-canvas offerings, check out these tasteful Scandinavian bags at Need Supply — they’re 30 percent for a limited time. — John Zientek

Chaco Hiking Sandals Sale
Save $20+: Hiking while the weather is warm is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Walking through the trails in heavy boots under direct sun with no breeze, however, is pretty miserable. Slap some hiking sandals on your feet and enjoy the breathing room they provide. Outdoor sandals are quite intense and complete with grippy Vibram soles and molded arches. Best of all, they’re all easy to slide on and hang on your backpack when you’re done for the day. Chaco creates strappy and durable hiking sandals — many of which are on sale today for up to $20 off. One of our top picks in 2018, the Z2 Classic is currently $21 off. Enjoy the rest of summer’s heat and soak up the sun starting with your toes. — Meg Lappe

A Clever Sale From Bonobos
Save 25% Right now, you can take 25 percent off the brand’s sharp polo shirts, including the pique versions made from Pima cotton. All you have to do is use the code MARCO at checkout. (We told you it was clever.) — Justin Fenner

Arc’Teryx Veilance Products
Save 40%: Now at East Dane, there is a rare chance to save 40 percent on Arc’Teryx Veilance goods. The first Veilance collection was released in 2009 with little fanfare, but the urban-focused sub-brand of the legendary Canadian adventure brand has gained a loyal following in the past nine years. But, that’s no surprise. The brand offers understated outerwear and bags in a range of muted colors, featuring the top technical fabrics pioneered by its parent company. Its high-end technical wear comes with a luxury price tag, and for many, is inaccessible at MSRP. If you’ve been yearning for a more technical garment designed for the city dweller, this is your chance to invest in the best. While the Veilance goods are still pricey, you can pick something up without completely depleting your paycheck. — John Zientek

Garmin Forerunner 735XT
Save $100: Ask a runner if they track a workout, and you’re likely to get a strange look. Who doesn’t log every single mile? The easiest way to do it is to invest in a smartwatch with GPS, like Garmin’s Forerunner series. The Forerunner 735XT alerts you to calls and texts from your phone, monitors wrist-based heart rate and works on runs, bikes, swims, hikes and anything else you do. It also comes standard with the Strava Live Suffer Score Connect IQTM app to tell you how hard you’re working — or not working. If you buy one today, you can save $100 off the original price of $450. — Meg Lappe

Cuisinart Programmable Coffee Maker
Save 65%>Cuisinart’s 14-cup programmable coffee maker is not for the person that stressed about pre-infusion, water minerality or deciding between a coarse and medium-coarse grind. No, it is for the person who wants hot coffee, and a lot of it. And today it’s way, way cheaper than normal.

The product is programmable on 24-hour cycles, meaning you can set it up to initiate the brew process at whatever times of the day you prefer. I can’t vouch for its claims of brewing with “State of the Art” technology that allows for a hotter cup without sacrificing taste, as we know raising brew temperatures can lead to overextracted coffee, which leads to a lot of bitterness. But, again, if you’re after volume and hot cups of coffee, this isn’t a problem. There’s no coffee shaming here.

The Cuisinart programmable model makes up to 14 cups of coffee at a time, cleans itself and is 65 percent off today. — Will Price

Harman Kardon AVR 1610S
Save $225: Even though it’s several years old, the Harman Kardon AVR 1610S is still a solid, entry-level AV receiver for anybody looking to build out a home theater system. It’s a 425-watt receiver that can support up to 5.1 channels. It has a number USB ports, so you can directly connect an external hard drive, set-top cable box or smartphone. It has built-in Bluetooth and supports Spotify Connect, making it easy to stream music, too. It’s available on the company’s website for $400 (here), however you can get it for $249 on Amazon (here). Today on eBay you can get an extra chunk of change off — the Harman Kardon AVR 1610S (new!) is going for just $175 (here). — Tucker Bowe

The North Face Allproof Stretch Rain Jacket
Save 46%: Regarding rain jackets, 2018 was the year of stretch. It seemed as if every outdoor company integrated elasticity into that crucial weather layer that’s typically not known for its range of motion. The best jacket to do this, in our opinion, is The North Face’s Allproof Stretch. The Allproof provides about as much pliancy as a balloon — and its interior feels similar to that material — but is still fully waterproof, and lightweight enough for hiking and backpacking. Two exterior hand pockets, an adjustable hood and underarm zips for venting fill out the Allproof’s features, making it ideal for everyday and technical use. We liked it so much that we named it one of the best of the year (check out the rest of our list here).

Right now, the Allproof is a staggering 46 percent off at Mountain Steals, dropping from its regular price of $149 to just $81. — Tanner Bowden
