Glerups Slippers
Save 20%: That conception you have about slippers, that they’re fluffy, indoors-only shoes; it’s wrong. Not entirely, (most slippers likely fit that description), but some examples refute it, elevating the slipper to something that’s not only cozy but practical too.

Glerups is perhaps the best example. They’re made in Denmark with a mix of merino and Gotland wool that’s felted, so it has a hardier texture that’s plush without looking like it. They’re warm too, and the family that came up with them was thoughtful enough to make a version with a rubber sole that can handle grass, dirt and snow should you want to wear them beyond the limits of the front door (my pair has become my après ski shoe of choice).

Rubber-soled Glerups slippers are currently on sale at Huckberry for 20 percent off in various colors and in shoe and ankle boot heights. — Tanner Bowden

Jabra Elite Active 65t
Save $65 (34%): Jabra’s Elite Active 65t are essentially sweatproof versions of the Jabra Elite 65t ($170) wireless earbuds. They sound superb and have an impressive mic array to make taking calls clear and easy. The Elite Active 65t also work with Amazon Alexa, as well as your smartphone’s native assistant. Normally $190, eBay is selling Jabra’s Elite Active 65t for $125. The catch is that they’re “Manufacturer Refurbished”, but if you have any issues with them, eBay has a pretty lenient return policy (30 days). It’s no doubt this is a pretty great deal on some seriously good true wireless earbuds.

Outerknown Clothing and Apparel
Save 60%:California-based clothing brand Outerknown is offering some substantial savings on a range of wardrobe essentials today. Currently, you can save up to 60 percent on past seasons’ styles at the brand’s Warehouse Sale. Because Outerknown focuses on perennial staples, these garments look just as fresh today as they did when they were released. Pick from tees, pants, sweaters and more — prices start at just $9. — John Zientek

Peak Design Travel Collection
Save $50: When it comes to photography accessories, Peak Design, in our opinion, makes some of the best available. We’re not alone either — the company’s products rank three out of the top ten most successful outdoor and travel Kickstarter projects of all time. Its most recent launch was its Travel Collection, which included packing cubes, camera cubes, a tech pouch, a Dopp kit and a backpack that anchors all of these items.

It’s not much, but the Travel Backpack, Tech Pouch and Wash Pouch are currently 12 percent off — a savings of $50 — when ordered in a bundle from Huckberry. Typically we seek out more substantial discounts to highlight in our deals coverage, but given that all three of these items are so successful at fulfilling their intended function, we wanted to make sure that you didn’t miss out. — Tanner Bowden

Mystery Ranch Urban Assault Backpack
Save 28%: The Urban Assault pack (currently 28 percent off at Huckberry in select colorways) utilizes the same technical design features that make Mystery Ranch bags suitable for the most rigorous users but includes features that make it ideal for the urban inhabitant. It’s made with 500-denier Cordura nylon and has a unique three-zipper opening system, two internal accessory pockets, a laptop sleeve and a quick-access lid pouch. It also employs a fixed-harness frame system, which allows the commuter-friendly pack to perform like a high-end expedition backpack. — Tanner Bowden

Saint Laurent Sunglasses
Save up to 58%:Dominated by the same aviator- and Wayfarer-inspired designs, the sunglasses market can seem a bit uninspired at times. If you’ve been yearning for a frame that breaks from the status quo, consider a style from Saint Laurent. The Parisian fashion house offers a range of distinct sunglasses, all crafted in Italy. From a combination acetate-metal Clubmaster style to a chunky Havana-acetate square silhouette, these well-made shades are anything but bland. And now at Nordstrom Rack, some of these sunglasses are up to 58 percent off while supplies last — that’s savings of $271. — John Zientek

Instant Pot Lux
Save $30 Of the many Instant Pot variations, the Lux is probably the least fussy. It does the Instant Pot things that folks go on and on about their Instant Pots doing — pressure cooking, rice cooking and slow cooking — but isn’t programmable and doesn’t give you a plethora of power options or customization features. It keeps the virtues of the astronaut helmet-looking kitchen appliance that took over the web intact while offering much less space to screw up dinner by adjusting one too many dials.

Today on Ebay, the 6-quart Instant Pot Lux is just $65 — nearly as cheap as we’ve ever seen it. —Will Price

Apple HomePod
Save $70: Apple released the HomePod ($350 $280), its first smart speaker, a little over a year ago and since then, the HomePod stayed pretty at the same price ($350). We haven’t seen it on sale that many times. That said, a HomePod sale isn’t unheard of. Right now, for example, you can nab a HomePod — in either white or space gray — for $280 at Best Buy, which is $70 off. It’s a pretty excellent deal considering that the HomePod is, in our opinion, the best sounding smart speaker you can buy.

Adidas Ultraboost Sale
Save 30%Here at Gear Patrol, the Boost sneakers we’ve tested have been some of our favorites — including the Solarboost — one of our best new running shoes of 2019. The announcement of the Adidas Ultraboost 19 proved to be extremely exciting and pushed the original Ultraboost to go on sale quite frequently this year, and who knows how long that will last. It’s responsive, so each footfall is soft yet fast. You can’t go wrong with a Boost purchase. — Meg Lappe

Today’s Best Deals: Deep Discounts on Patagonia Jackets and Bags, a Gerber Folding Knife for Just $8 & Much More

Gerber Paraframe Sale
Save 39%If you want a well made everyday carry, look no further than Gerber. This Gerber Paraframe mini knife is the smallest knife of the Paraframe series at just 1.4-ounces. A knife this small is typically low in cost, but also is a high-performer. It’s simple, easy-to-use and rugged. The high carbon stainless blade and stainless steel handle use a frame locking construction to open seamlessly.

All Gerber products come with a limited lifetime warranty, so whether you use this daily or once a week, this $8 knife will last you forever. If you need a new everyday carry, you can pick one up today from Amazon. — Meg Lappe

Patagonia Micro Puff Jacket
Save 30%: Since it came out in the fall of 2017, Patagonia’s Micro Puff Jacket has been our choice for the best synthetic insulated jacket. Simply put, it strikes the perfect balance of warmth and weight (it’s the lightest insulated jacket that Patagonia has made to date). The secret to its innovation is a new type of insulation called PlumaFill that’s made up of down-mimicking polyester fibers that are secured together in one continuous, fluffy line, which zig-zags around beneath its ripstop nylon shell.

The Micro Puff has been such a success that Patagonia used it as the base for the Micro Puff Storm, a waterproof version of the jacket that came out in Fall 2018. Later this year Patagonia will also release the Macro Puff, a heavier and warmer puffy jacket that will use a heartier helping of PlumaFill (and will likely be in as high demand as the Micro Puff).

That Patagonia has released variations of the Micro Puff by no means makes the jacket obsolete. If anything, it’s further verification that it, and it’s fluffy filling, work pretty damn well. Right now the Micro Puff is 30 percent off at Backcountry — a savings of $75. — Tanner Bowden

Orient Sun And Moon V. 3

Lodge Dutch Oven
Save 47% Enameled Dutch ovens are good at cooking almost anything. They retain heat like a cast-iron skillet but don’t require seasoning and aren’t bothered by highly acidic foods. They’re also big enough to work as a decent chili pot, braise short ribs or make homemade stock. This, coupled with good looks, makes for a pot that never has to leave the stove (except for cleaning).

Lodge’s 4.5-quart enameled Dutch oven isn’t the pinnacle of Dutch oven design, but it’s remarkably affordable and will do the job. It’s 47 percent off on Sierra Trading Post today, bringing its price down to $29. —Will Price

Patagonia Backpacks
Save 30%:Whether you live in the city or country, a hard-wearing versatile backpack is a necessity for daily life. While there are countless brands offering solid options, California-based outdoor brand Patagonia makes a range of styles fit for various pursuits. If you’re in need of a new bag, head over to Nordstrom today: you can now save 30 percent on a handful of great backpacks from Patagonia. Vizio 2018 P-Series 4K HDR TV
Save $150: Last year it was one of the best 4K HDR TVs under $1,000 that you could buy. Now, with the advent of the 2019 Vizio P-Series, which promises to be a little brighter, faster and smarter, the prices of these 2018 models are dropping. Best Buy is selling a 55-inch model for $650, which is $150 off what it normally costs, and it’s actually about the same cost of its mid-range M-Series. For real though: the 2018 Vizio P-Series is a seriously good 4K HDR TV. It supports Dolby Vision HDR so, beyond its many dimming zones and great contrast, this TV looks terrific. And Vizio announced that sometime in 2019 it’ll be updated to support AirPlay 2 and HomeKit, which is just another reason why there’s no shame in buying an “older” TV.

All-Clad 12-Inch Fry Pan
Save $15 All-Clad has held the crown as the best maker of stainless steel cookware in the world since its founding in 1971. Its line of pots and pans is vast, filled out with unknowable product acronyms like D5, D5 Armor, C4 and MC2 LTD. But the first set the Pennsylvania company ever made is still the best ever.

All-Clad’s D3 line is made by bonding a top and bottom layer of stainless steel to an aluminum alloy middle layer. This makes for a pan that’s light, heats more quickly than a fully stainless pan and is still safe to cook on without fear of metal leaching into food. In recent years the D3 has received helpful upgrades like a steeper handle for easier tossing and extra aluminum in the core for faster heating (and for use on induction cooktops).

Today on Massdrop, the D3 12-inch fry pan — the most-recommended member of the D3 line — is a few bucks cheaper. It should be noted that Massdrop lists its retail price at $160, which is well above the $120 is usually sells for. All the same, $15 off the best stainless steel fry pan money can buy isn’t too bad. —Will Price

Mystery Ranch Urban Assault
Save 46%It should come as no surprise that bags from Mystery Ranch consistently make our “https://gearpatrol.com/2018/12/31/the-top-bags-and-backpacks-of-2018/”Best Bags of 2018 and “Best Everyday Bags” lists. Their bags are compact and durable, and their tactical yet subtle designs add usefulness without looking overdone. The Urban Assualt 21-Liter is no different.

The unique three-zipper enclosure allows for quick access when you need it and can fully open when you need to push capacity to the limits. The Urban Assault takes inspiration from military rucksacks, but in true Mystery Ranch fashion, the backpack is at home in almost any environment. Today, you can get the versatile everyday pack at a steep 46 percent discount. —Bryan Campbell

Todd Snyder’s Final Sale
Take an Extra 20% Off With a polar vortex right around the corner, could you blame us for distracting ourselves by shopping for spring? Right now you can do just that with Todd Snyder’s final sale. Currently, you can take an additional 20 percent off already discounted items, like this Blackwatch coaches jacket made in collaboration with Golden Bear. It’s not the kind of thing that’ll get you through a blizzard, but you’ll be glad you have it once the snow melts.— Justin Fenner

Dyson Space Heater
Save $150 In classic Dyson fashion, its space heater is levels above what you’d expect from a space heater. The energy-efficient tower allows you to zero in your desired temperature down to a single degree, set automatic off-on timers and even customize the width of the oscillation cycle. Plus, it’s temperature-capped at 392 degrees — also known as the temperature dust burns, which is the source of the awful smell that radiates from lesser space heaters.

Dyson’s Hot + Cool Heater Fan is priced at $300 on Ebay today — good for $150 off what it’s retailing for on every other site it’s listed on. —Will Price

Stamina ATS Air Rower
Save 23% Building a home gym can get pricey. Between the weights and bigger machines, spending north of $1,000 isn’t out of the realm of possibility. But, if you’re looking for a simple, affordable cardio machine and don’t want to drop a month’s rent on a treadmill, the Stamina ATS Air Rower is a safe bet.

It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the Concept 2 rowing machine, but then again the Concept 2 is a neighborhood gym stalwart and costs close to $1,000. The Stamina’s simple LCD screen shows you displays speed, distance, time, and calories burned. The Stamina also folds up for easy storage. Today, the Stamina ATS Air Rower is 23% off at $230 and comes highly recommended as far as a basic cardio machine goes. If you’re looking to save money and your joints from high-impact exercise, the Stamina ATS Air Rower fits the bill. —Bryan Campbell

Orient Symphony Gen II Dress Watch
Save $180: Orient makes some of our favorite affordable dive and dress watches, often for unbelievably low prices. Take the Symphony Gen II Automatic dress watch as a case in point: it features a 41mm stainless steel case, black or white dial, Orient’s in-house cal. 48743 21-jewel movement with a 40-hour power reserve and date complication, and a sapphire crystal. Polished silver hands and indices lend the watch a classic mid-century look, and 50m of water resistance means that you don’t have to worry about getting caught in the rain with it. — Oren Hartov

Lodge Cast-Iron Cookware
Save 33% Today on Sierra Trading Post, a load of Lodge’s cast-iron cookware is on sale. The marked down pots and pans are varied — a single-steak 8-inch skillet for $7, an enameled Dutch oven for $30 and a grill pan for $17. But the standout is the classic 10.5-inch skillet marked down to just $10. Don’t forget to buy extra oil for seasoning. —Will Price

T-Fal Non-Stick Skillet
Save 52% Why do we buy high-priced stainless steel cookware? Well, it lasts longer, performs better, is (probably) used more than all your other cookware and provides greater value over its lifespan than cheap alternatives. Non-stick cookware does not follow these same rules.

Perhaps most importantly, non-stick cookware is not used nearly enough to warrant the pricetags more premium brands place on it. Its greatest feats are flippable eggs and its delicate treatment of fish. There’s also the simple fact that all non-stick pans have an expiration date, whether it’s advertised or not (the closest you’ll get is a warranty duration).

This is because — through heating, cooling, flipping, scratches and cleaning — all non-stick pans eventually shed their precious non-stick coating, making them completely worthless to cook on. Most even have a number of “releases” they’re good for (how many eggs you’ll be able to flip), but rarely make this information public.

This all adds up to a very happy ending — in the world of non-stick cooking, you’re better off buying cheap and simply replacing your pan when the coating begins to flake or food doesn’t want to come off it. And if you’re in the market now, T-Fal’s perfectly satisfactory 12-inch non-stick fry pan is more than 50 percent off on Sierra Trading Post today. That’s down from $25 to $12. —Will Price

Due Preparation for the Polar Vortex
Save 25% on Winter Boots from Sorel If you don’t have a warm pair of waterproof winter boots, now would be the time to get them. Luckily, a number of options from Sorel are on sale for 25 percent off at East Dane right now.— Justin Fenner

Uniqlo Seamless Down Parka
Save 33%: In a way, down jackets (and their synthetic alternatives) are a bellwether for innovation in outdoor gear. Ever since Eddie Bauer patented his feather-filled Skyliner nearly a century ago, down jackets have been a keystone item for outdoor survival and recreation. They’re incredibly lightweight yet sufficiently warm — and any time a brand can increase these qualities, along with durability and packability, it’s usually a sign that other things like tents and outerwear might follow suit. These advancements come with a price tag though, which is why it’s notable that Uniqlo’s Seamless Down Parka only costs $150, and is currently marked down to $100.

The main innovation is right in the jacket’s name: seamless. Even after decades of existence, most traditional down jackets use stitching and seams to create the baffles that hold down fill in place. Stitching not only creates minor cold spots by isolating the fill into groups but is also a common point of failure on jackets that are well-loved over many seasons. Outdoor companies are just recently innovating ways to do away with them, usually by welding the fabric together or by weaving the shell material to create the baffles. This construction is generally apparent in only the highest tier down jackets though.

Uniqlo, though, uses that zero-stitch construction in its affordable parka. The company doesn’t specify the fill power of the down inside, but categorizes the jacket as “extra warm.” The jacket is windproof and has a DWR coating for precipitation though, and $100 is as affordable as down jackets get. — Tanner Bowden

Nike Gear and Apparel Sale
Save 25%If you’ve recently been swept up in the Marie Kondo Netflix series, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, or you recently re-discovered her Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, it’s possible your drawers are looking a little empty. Her message will help you clean out apparel that you haven’t worn in years, thus leaving plenty of room for new gear. What better way to spark joy than to fill the void with new gym shorts and shirts? Right now, you can save 25 percent on a variety of Nike essentials. Whether you’re in the habit of stopping by the CrossFit box or enjoy a game of pick up on the weekends, this gear will see you through it all. — Meg Lappe

Tile Mate
Save $15 The Tile Mate is a small plastic square you hook to things to ensure those things are never lost again. Inside, a Bluetooth-enabled chip sits dormant until you’ve signalled your Tile as lost on the company’s smartphone app. Once marked as lost, the chip will ping your phone when you’re within 150 feet of it. If it’s not found in the immediate vicinity, Tile uses other phones on the greater Tile network to locate it. This means the more people on the Tile app, the easier it is to find stuff.

The Mate, the company’s flagship tracker, is marked down from $25 to $10 on Ebay today. —Will Price

That’s why it’s offering a bunch of deals on its speakers. The price of its two big soundbars, the Playbar and Playbase, as well as its big subwoofer, the Sonos Sub, have all been slashed by $100, dropping their prices down from $699 to $599. Anker Powerline II Lightning Cables
Save 32%: Anker’s charging cables. They’re more durable, made of nylon, than Apple’s offerings, and they come in a bunch of colors (red is my favorite) so it’s less likely that somebody will “confuse” them as their own. Also, they’re not terribly expensive. (They’re actually less expensive than the cables that Apple sells on its website, here.) Anker offers its Powerline II collection of cables in a variety of lengths: 3-feet, 6-feet and 10-feet. If you need the extra length, say you have to run the cable under a couch or bed, Amazon is offering Anker’s 10-foot cables for extra cheap today. The smart, efficient design from the car side of things bleeds over into the company’s apparel branch. Uniqlo Cashmere Sweaters
Save 44% Cashmere was once a top-tier luxury material, mostly reserved for people who could stand to pay several hundred dollars for a sweater (or thousands of dollars for a suit).

But the cashmere market has been democratized in recent years by an increasing import volume and more sustainable (and affordable) production practices, allowing brands like Uniqlo to sell incredibly soft and well-made cashmere clothing for less. And while Uniqlo’s prices are always pretty accessible, this deal takes the brand’s amazingly soft sweaters from “reasonably priced” to “can’t pass this up.” Grab one of these and never look back. — Andy Frakes

Timex x Todd Snyder Ironman Watch
Save 40%: If you’re into throwback digital watches, don’t miss out on the Timex x Todd Snyder Ironman watch. This reissue was first developed in 1984 in partnership with the Ironman triathlon and features 200-meter water resistance, an Indiglo night light, a 100-hour chronograph, a 99-lap counter and a 24-hour countdown time. Though the contemporary model features an enlarged face and dial, it’s just as lightweight and durable as the original. Better yet, it’s nearly 40% off right now, and for a limited time you can get an additional 20 percent off of that with the code LASTCALL20. — Oren Hartov

TRX PRO Suspension Trainer System
Save $80 When arranged thoughtfully and outfitted appropriately, a home gym can be an entirely capable alternative to a pricey gym membership. It doesn’t have to call for heavy and bulky (not to mention expensive) equipment, either. TRX’s original suspension trainer was created with this type of functional minimalism in mind — it was invented by a Navy SEAL squadron commander named Randy Hetrick who was searching for a way to stay fit during deployment.

Like an as-seen-on-TV contraption, it can be adapted to various workouts and targeted exercises. Unlike that hulking machine, it can be bought in fewer than 12 installments, especially now that it’s 40 percent off — a savings of $80 — at Amazon. — Tanner Bowden

Allen Edmonds Sale
Save up to 60% Right now, a selection of Allen Edmonds’ well-made boots and shoes are on sale for up to 60 percent off at Nordstrom Rack. They’re the kinds of footwear you’ll buy now and wear for years: worthy investments at full price, but practically steals when they’re discounted like this.— Justin Fenner

Anker offers its Powerline II collection of cables in a variety of lengths: 3-feet, 6-feet and 10-feet. If you need the extra length, say you have to run the cable under a couch or bed, Amazon is offering Anker’s 10-foot cables for extra cheap today.

—Will Price

—Will Price

Plus, it’s temperature-capped at 392 degrees — also known as the temperature dust burns, which is the source of the awful smell that radiates from lesser space heaters.

Anglepoise Type 1228 Lamp
Save $50 Anglepoise has been making its iconic spring-balanced lamps since the 1930s. The Type 1227 was the company’s first product, and its aluminum body, easy-to-adjust arm, modern aesthetic and durability have made it (and Anglepoise) British design royalty. Sir Kenneth Grange is also British design royalty, and, since he was brought on as Design Director in 2003, he’s been the driving force behind Anglepoise’s enduring popularity.

Grange, whose awards and accolades are too many to count, is thought of as the father of modernist British design. He’s the chief author of a cross-country passenger train, the Royal Post mailbox, London’s Black Taxis and a series of mid-century Kodak cameras just to name a few. Unveiled today, his most recent creation is a collaboration with another of our favorite companies: Huckberry.

Exclusive to Huckberry, the Type 1228 is a simple update to the classic 1227. It keeps with tradition in employing an aluminum body, chrome-plated fittings and a cast-iron weighted base, but it’s given a more colorful appearance with a translucent polypropene shade. The Type 1228 is available now with black, blue or frosted white shades for 15 percent on Huckberry’s site — good for a $50 savings. —Will Price

Winter Baselayers
Save up to 50%: Winter can be temperamental. Recently, a weather report for a single week here in the Northeast described temperatures in negative double digits (snow, ice, wind chill) rebounding to the forties (slush, rain, melt). It’s enough to drive one trying to dress for a trip, or even a daily commute, nuts. The shoot-from-the-hip solution might be to seek out the single most versatile piece of clothing available, but you’ll be hard pressed to find one thing that can handle winter’s erratic mood swings. Aim for a well-rounded system of layers that can be added or subtracted based on the day, starting with the baselayers.
Baselayers — long johns, long underwear, etc. — are the foundation of a winter outdoor kit. They’re worn directly next to the skin, they’re thin, they provide warmth and they breathe and wick away moisture. The best are usually, but not always, made of merino wool, while the worst are made of cotton. Don’t buy cotton baselayers. They’ll undoubtedly be cheaper, but they’ll leave you chilled the minute they dampen with sweat.
Yes, the alternatives are pricier, but they’ll last longer, and they’ll be warmer, which is the entire point. Right now there are lots of great options available at Backcountry for notable discounts too, including midweight tops and bottoms from Smartwool, a lightweight tee from Icebreaker and a full-on onesie by Airblaster. Discounts range up to 50 percent and more, but you’ll want to hunt around for the right size. — Tanner Bowden

Vega Protein Powder Sale
Save $30The world of protein powder is a scary place. The runners on our team often talk about what we do to re-fuel without putting crap into our bodies. My go-to is typically a giant scoop of peanut butter (and then maybe another one), but Vega’s Sport premium protein is a close second choice. I’ve sampled this powder in everything from wake up shakes to post-run peanut butter and banana smoothies, and it’s always tasted great to me. There’s no dry mouth or weird texture feeling with it. Yeti Hopper 18 Cooler
Save $100: At this point, Yeti coolers speak for themselves. If you need a refresher, here it is: they’re burly enough to handle severe abuse (falls off cliffs, bears) and they keep beverages cold for, without exaggeration, days. Even the company’s more portable soft-sided Hopper coolers are overbuilt to take on much more than a camping trip or day at the beach will entail.

Yeti Coolers are also known for their price tag, so it’s notable whenever one is discounted as much as the Hopper 18 currently is on eBay. Typically $300, the cooler is on sale for $200. This model has enough volume for 20 beverages at a two-to-one can-to-ice ratio or 24 pounds of ice alone. Its high-density shell is waterproof, puncture-proof and both UV- and mildew-resistant. Yeti won’t be discontinuing it any time soon, so don’t wait around for another chance like this (it might not come). — Tanner Bowden

Dyson’s Hot + Cool Heater Fan is priced at $300 on Ebay today — good for $150 off what it’s retailing for on every other site it’s listed on. —Will Price

Since literally inventing bonded cookware in 1971, All-Clad’s covetable cookware has been the option for high-end stainless steel. The only knock against them? The price.

You can save $30 when you opt to buy a large tub of the vanilla or chocolate flavors. — Meg Lappe

Nordstrom’s Big Tumi Sale

Kramer Zwilling Chef’s Knife
Save $90 For most people on the planet, buying a new Bob Kramer knife is a pipe dream. Owned by esteemed chefs and food moguls like Thomas Keller, Mario Batali, Charlie Palmer and Andrew Zimmern, Kramer’s custom knife waitlist is quite literally years long, and his knife auctions frequently see individual blades close at prices in the tens of thousands.

Thankfully, if you want a knife designed (but not made) by Bob Kramer, it’s markedly less expensive. Kramer’s series of knives produced by Zwilling are not as enviable as those that Kramer makes himself, but they much of the same knife DNA. The Kramer Euroline Essential chef’s knife sports a wide blade, polished bolster, curvy ergonomic handle and the tri-circle logo on the handle — all are indicative of a Kramer-designed blade. This is also the only Kramer-designed knife to be produced using stainless steel rather than carbon steel, making it perfect for those who don’t want to deal with the requisite maintenance of a carbon steel blade.

Today, that knife is 36 percent off — good for a $90 savings. —Will Price

Obviously, the biggest TV-watching event of the year is just a few weeks away and naturally, you’re going to see a lot of good deals on TVs in the coming days (especially considering that most manufacturers just announced new models at CES last week), but this is an early one that caught my eye. It’s on TCL’s 5-Series from last year (2018). It’s a beautiful 4K TV that supports Dolby Vision HDR — it looks great — and has a Roku smart interface. And now it’s on sale.

Bell Bullit Retro Helmet
Save $170 The Bell Bullitt is the quintessential vintage-styled motorcycle helmet on the market, right now. And it’s no surprise — the Bell Star, the first ever full-faced motorcycle helmet is the inspiration for the Bullitt. So technically, all the other retro lids out there are imitating the Bell, but hey, they say that’s the highest form of flattery. Today, different styles of the Bell Bullitt are nearly half-off, at $230. Stock up for the first ride of spring. —Bryan Campbell

Chef’sChoice Knife Sharpener
Save $40 In the world of electric knife sharpeners, Chef’sChoice (no space) is the only name you need to know. Unlike companies with hundreds of products in dozens of product categories, since its 1985 founding Chef’sChoice has been almost exclusively focused on the knife sharpener. Its products are heralded by the gear testing savants at Cook’s Illustrated and Wirecutter, but typically come with a large caveat — price.

Today on Amazon, the Chef’sChoice 120 is marked down 31 percent — good for $40 off and its lowest price ever. Happy sharpening. —Will Price

TRX Original
Save $40 When arranged thoughtfully and outfitted appropriately, a home gym can be an entirely capable alternative to a pricey gym membership.
Hetrick’s original version was made of a jiu-jitsu belt and parachute webbing, but the design has since been refined. The system sets up virtually anywhere, and one size is suitable for upper body, lower body and core workouts. It comes with a mesh bag for storage and travel and includes workout primers developed by professional trainers.
Like an as-seen-on-TV contraption, it can be adapted to various workouts and targeted exercises. Unlike that hulking machine, it can be bought in fewer than 12 installments, especially now that it’s over 26 percent off — a savings of $40 — at Huckberry. — Tanner Bowden

Bonavita Coffee Maker
Save $60 Unlike kitchen gear brands who make a host of different appliances and products, Bonavita sticks to what it knows — coffee.

The Specialty Coffee Association Home Brewer Certification program is among the most rigorous and exclusive third-party quality assurance badges a product can achieve, and Bonavita already had two seats at the table with its BV1900TS (our favorite coffee maker) and the BV1900TD (a programmable version of the TS brewer).

In fall 2018 its Connoisseur earned the company a third SCA-certified badget — the most of any single coffee maker in the world.

Despite its name, the Connoisseur isn’t snooty. It features the same Gold Cup brewing standards as Bonavita’s older brewers, a one-button off-on interface and a flat bottom filter basket. Its most notable change is the basket-to-carafe connection — instead of the basket resting atop the carafe during brewing (meaning you need to put the used grounds and filter basket on the counter or in the sink to pour coffee), it fits into a slot hanging over the pot. It’s a small change, and one we noted as one of the few issues with its predecessor.

Today on Massdrop, the Connoisseur is marked down $60 — good for the lowest price we’ve seen it listed for. —Will Price

Global Chef’s Knife

And thanks to a combo of silicone earbuds and earwings, you can get them to fit very snugly in your ears. Burrow Furniture
Save 10% Among many internet furniture companies, Burrow manages to be a bit different. Its couches, chairs, throws and pillows are all made in the US and all ship to your place for free. The cushion fabric on the couch and chairs is stain-resistant, and there’s even a built-in USB port to plug a phone or laptop charger into.

Burrow furniture arrives at your home in a few boxes. This means there’s some assembly required, but it’s all snapping parts together and a bit of elbow grease (Burrow says it requires no tool and takes 10 minutes, max).

Today on Huckberry, Burrow gear is 10 percent off — a forgettable discount on most things, but not a couch. Ten percent off a Burrow couch is a cool $120 saved. Huckberry stocks the couch in grey, navy and charcoal. —Will Price

But if you want to pick up something from the brand for a substantial discount, head over to Filson’s Winter Sale where you can save up to 65 percent on a range of rugged clothing and gear. Pick from outerwear, bags and more, but don’t wait because things are selling out quickly. — John Zientek

Truth be told, the pans boutique skillet-makers are putting out don’t perform that much better than your everyday Lodge skillets. They’ll typically be a fair bit lighter and sport a machined-smooth cooking surface (food will release from them with a bit less fuss), but it’s not necessarily game-changing.
Today on Amazon, Lodge’s cast-iron skillets are on sale. Starting a $5, Lodge’s range runs wide — a creme brulee-sized 3.5 inches at the smallest to a whopping 15-inch, 12-pound behemoth at the largest. Don’t forget to buy extra oil for seasoning. —Will Price

Sony-WH-1000XM2 Noise-Canceling Headphones
Save $168:Most retailers still sell Sony’s WH-1000XM2 headphones for $348 — like on Amazon — which is actually crazy considering Sony’s WH-1000XM3 headphones are the exact same price. That said, good deals on the WH-1000XM2 headphones are becoming more common. For example, one of the best deals we’ve seen is running right now on eBay — its selling WH-1000XM2 headphones for $180, which is almost half off. It should be noted that these are “manufacturer refurbished” models, but eBay has an excellent 30-day returns policy if you have any issues. Both black and silver models are available.

Save Up to 60% Target’s Home section is worthy of praise. The mega-retailer’s unlikely blend of frugality, surprising quality and clean looks is refreshing.

Today, a host of its already-cheap furniture is discounted even further. We’re talking couch for just over $100 cheap. —Will Price

Hestra Arthur Gloves
Save 52%:When it comes to leather gloves, Swedish brand Hestra makes some of the best for any activity. While the brand offers a range of rugged alpine skiing and mountaineering gloves, it also produces a line of dress gloves appropriate for daily use in the city.

The Arthur model is a quintessential example of this style. The glove is cut from hairsheep suede — sourced from the high altitude regions of Ethiopia, then tanned and dyed in Naples — and is lined with wool to keep your hands warm in freezing temperatures. It features elastic at the wrist for a secure fit and is handsewn throughout utilizing a technique perfected in the 17th century.

Normally $125, these gloves are now 52 percent off at Nordstrom Rack and cost just $60. They’re available in sizes S through XL, so if you’re in need of a new pair of winter gloves for everyday use, don’t pass on this sale.
