Quick Take: Itay Noy is an Israeli watchmaker who is never one to rest on his laurels — he makes limited-edition, whimsical timepieces in small batches and then moves on to his next project. The ReOrder, his latest creation, reimagines the conventional watch yet again with traditional hands in the center of a dial flanked by 12 (seemingly) randomly scattered windows that indicate the hours.

Who It’s For: Itay Noy’s creations aren’t inexpensive, so it’s likely that the potential buyer of the ReOrder is either already a fan of Noy’s watchmaking or is utterly captivated by the watch. Someone who enjoys well-made, hand-crafted, limited-edition timepieces will likely gravitate toward the ReOrder, or even someone who simply enjoys an unconventional dial, of which this is certainly a great example.

Key Features: A combined analog/”digital” display lends the ReOrder a different feel than a standard analog timepiece, or even a strictly digital one — the small “windows” appear scattered around the dial, but they’re actually revealed in order in a counter-clockwise progression. Regular analog hands in the center combine with this interesting display to give a complete picture of the time.
