There may be no pocket knife more classic than the Swiss Army Knife. It was the original multi-tool before Leatherman made multi-tools a separate category. It’s been more than 100 years since Victorinox, the Swiss company behind the red-handled tool, created its first blade for the actual Swiss Army; it has produced so many versions of the knife that now one exists for every conceived use. There are knives with pens, knives with USB sticks, knives with golf club head-scrapers.
The original still holds true though, and Victorinox’s Evolution series is an update on that pocket knife that avoids gimmicks — the most notable new feature is an ergonomically-designed handle.
