After securing a deal for $20 million from an anonymous foreign investor, Erik Buell Racing will be putting that money into starting production on a range of new, affordable bikes, hiring more staff, expanding the company’s current Milwaukee production facility to 54,000 square feet and plans to start selling a $20,000 bike.

The new EBR streetbike will be in line with the current EBR 1190RS (pictured in the images). Details are vague but reports say the bike will have “less hardcore components” as the 1190RS and compete with the likes of the Ducati 1199 Panigale but will be well above the BMW S 1000 RR.
