I’m Not a Porsche Guy But Damn, This 911 Carrera Is Nice…

A legacy in high-performance racing

Of course, the most magnificent piece of this restomod puzzle is hidden away in the rear compartment: its engine. Based on the Type 964’s original powerplant, this Carrera gets a state-of-the-art, 420HP, naturally-aspirated flat six.

Developed by Singer with Cosworth engineering, it boasts a 4.0L capacity, four valves per cylinder, variable valve timing, water-cooled cylinder heads and air-cooled cylinders. In short, this beast purrs like a Maine Coon and roars like a lion.

With 420HP at your feet, this is the view most folks will have to get used to.
Singer

To match all that power and performance, Bosch helped develop its ABS, traction control and electronic stability control, along with selectable drive modes, a manual six-speed gear box and RWD. And for the min-maxers out there, it even boasts four-way, remotely adjustable dampers with electronic damping control.

Pricing and availability

Here’s the big catch: only 100 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Reimagined by Singer restomods will be built, and you have to supply your own Type 964 to take advantage of the program.

Furthermore, pricing varies from restoration to restoration, so you’ll have to contact the brand to find out how much it might cost you. Still, if you’re lucky enough to own a 964 already and have made it this far without batting an eye, something tells me you won’t balk at the price.

This Carry-On Pack Elegantly Solves My Biggest Beef with Minimalist Travel

We’ve vetted many excellent travel backpacks over the years, but I’ve never seen an option quite like Cotopaxi’s new Allpa 50L Adventure Travel Pack.

Its standout feature is a removable top compartment, which transforms into an 8L sling bag that can keep seat essentials close at hand while flying or serve as a daypack at your destination.

Combined with a bevy of other smart design decisions, at least on paper, this might be the one carry-on backpack to rule them all for a specific subset of travelers who love packing light and staying on the move.

Carry-On + Everyday Carry

This bag’s most distinctive feature is a removable top compartment, which transforms into an 8L sling bag measuring 13 x 8.5 x 5.5 in.
Cotopaxi

Squeezing everything you need for a weekend into a single bag has its perks, especially for travelers venturing off the beaten path.

But I’ve always struggled with how this packing setup can impact the travel experience once you arrive, especially on short trips.

Some diehard minimalist packers are content with packing and unpacking the same bag for the voyage and daily needs on the ground. Others address the conundrum by tossing in a smaller, compressible bag inside their main pack.

Venom Steel’s Heavy Duty Gloves Are Built to Get the Job Done

Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty — or rather, keep them clean — on your next job.

Talking Points Venom Steel GlovesVenom Steel

Welcome to Talking Points, a series that looks at what makes certain products worth talking about, brought to you by Gear Patrol Studios.

Extremely durable, widely available and easy to get on and off, Venom Steel’s 2-Layer Rip Resistant Nitrile Gloves are an absolute staple for anyone taking on automotive, construction, painting and around-the-home DIY projects, and so much more. If you’re planning a weekend project and want to protect your hands from spills, splinters and more, read on to see why Venom Steel’s nitrile gloves are a fan favorite.

Venom Steel GlovesVenom Steel

Heavy Duty Protection

Disposable nitrile gloves were first introduced in the 1990s, as a response to latex allergies. They also provide more chemical resistance, making them ideal for tough jobs that call for handling potentially hazardous and corrosive chemicals, and you can find a box at just about any job site, personal or professional garage, woodworking studio and the like.

Venom Steel’s gloves are built with heavy-duty, two-layer nitrile material; this construction protects hands from exposure to chemicals, and is also tear and puncture resistant, and helps protect against nicks, scrapes and other hazards found on the job.

Built For Tough Tasks

Designed with work in mind, the gloves are easy to get on and off, which is often a pain point in nitrile glove construction. They can be worn on the right or left hand, and are 70-percent thicker than standard disposable gloves — which comes in handy if you’re changing your oil, painting the guest bedroom or taking on any manner of messy tasks.

The white inner layer of the gloves helps identify breakage, so you can change pairs if need be. While no gloves are resistant to all chemicals these are designed to be chemical-resistant, and will protect your hands from a variety of worksite substances (reference the OSHA PPE guidelines at OSHA.gov if you’re working with any chemicals you’re unsure of).

Great For Projects

Anyone can wear these nitrile gloves, which adds to their appeal: If you’re allergic to latex, you won’t need to worry with these gloves; Venom Steel’s gloves are both latex and powder free, making them more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. They’re also fully textured for grip, enhancing their performance while working with slippery substances like oil, paint and grease.

Whether you’re a mechanic, a woodworker, hobbyist taking on a weekend DIY project or handling a quick repair, these gloves are built to handle the task. With their double-layer construction and superior fit, these are gloves you may even forget you have on — until you need them.

You can find Venom Steel gloves at Lowe’s, AutoZone, and many other local home improvement stores.

This Tiny, Super-Affordable Folder Is Built as Strong as a Knife Three Times Its Size

Keychain EDC knives can be pretty hit or miss. Many sacrifice material quality in favor of a smaller silhouette; others are well-made but too expensive for their size.

But every so often, one comes along that checks most, if not all, of the boxes. Interestingly, this one comes from a brand not known for knifemaking but for crafting custom third-party parts, like handle scales and hardware.

The Flytanium Minim proves the brand’s prowess surpasses mere replacement elements. Honestly, it’s one of the best tiny EDC knives to come out in some time.

Flytanium Minim Keychain Folder knives
The Minim measures just four inches and comes in silver or all-black colorways.
Flytanium

Micro machine

As its name suggests, the Minim is positively tiny. It measures just four inches in total, and its blade only makes up 1.5 of those inches.

Despite its stature, however, this knife is shockingly well-built. To paraphrase John Hammond (of Jurassic Park fame), the brand seemingly spared no expense.

Heckler & Koch’s SFP Tactical Folder Oozes Rugged Masculinity

Only very few knife designs catch our eye. But Heckler & Koch’s SFP Tactical Folder oozes rugged masculinity from the handle to the blade. The German brand produces the highest quality and innovative weaponry, from guns to knives, and this all-black version of its loved SFP Tactical Folder is no different.

The discreet yet rugged black silhouette is handsome to look at. But best of all, the knife feels good in the hands. The design incorporates elements from the brand’s world-famous self-loading SFP pistol, notably on the polypropylene handle.

Heckler & Koch’s SFP Tactical Folder’s offers an ergonomic handle with strategically-placed finger recesses for a secure and comfortable grip. It lies securely in the hand. It is grippy enough to hold in wet weather conditions and even when used with gloves on.

Moreover, another noticeable detail is on the blade design. The robust 3.60-inch stonewashed spear point blade is crafted from D2 steel, which is known for its good combination of hardness, edge retention, and resistance to corrosion and wear.

The black-coated blade can handle everyday heavy-duty use and has a partially serrated edge handy for sawing. It deploys via an ambidextrous thumb stud and locks securely in place via sturdy steel liners.

Moreover, Heckler & Koch’s SFP Tactical Folder is portable and compact enough for everyday carry at 8.58″ long and 4.50 oz. It comes with a high-quality nylon case for safekeeping. Branding on this folder is subtle and found on the handle scales and the deep carry tip-up pocket clip.

Tudor Just Gave Its Surging Chronograph a Major Material Upgrade

The level of detail here highlights Tudor’s increasing familiarity with working with the strong, ultra-lightweight material. The brand released its first-ever carbon fiber watch, which was also the first for its parent company, Rolex, back in 2023 with the launch of the 43mm Tudor Pelagos FXD.

Besides the material change, Tudor made additional changes to the case to distinguish the F1 collaboration from its core Black Bay Chrono references.

At 42mm wide and 13.3mm thick, the Black Bay “Carbon 25” is a mm wider and also slightly thinner than the typical stainless steel Black Bay Chrono.
Tudor

At 42mm wide and 13.3mm thick, it’s a mm wider and also slightly thinner than the typical stainless steel cased version.

It feels natural to presume that the Tudor Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” is lighter than its stainless steel cousins, but Tudor’s press materials don’t include an official weight.

Internally, the watch is powered by the same MT5813 chrono movement used in the rest of the Black Bay Chrono family.

15 New Pocket Knives and Multi-Tools You Might Have Missed

This week saw a grab bag of releases, including numerous tactical folders, utility cutting tools and even a couple ultra-affordable knives.

Variety was the name of the game with this week’s EDC knife and multi-tool releases.

We rarely see reimagined folding knives from tactical giants, like Ka-Bar and Cold Steel, launch alongside multiple utility knives, including a pair of drops from Gerber. But here we are.

Of course, there were also some noteworthy EDC knife releases from a few reliable brands, including affordable folders from Tenable and Bestech, as well as a pair of stunners from Böker and Kansept.

Check them all out (and more) below.

Ka-Bar Dozier S35VN Folding HunterKa-Bar

Ka-Bar Dozier S35VN Folding Hunter

One of the brand’s most enduring designs, the Ka-Bar Dozier represents the pinnacle of value, meshing utility with affordability. However, now it has gotten a serious steel upgrade, vaulting it into the modern EDC conversation. While the knife still retains its hallmark features — a versatile drop-point blade, Zytel handle scales and a back lock — it now boasts S35VN steel.

Gerber CarabinerGerber

Gerber Carabiner

Although not as alluring as the brand’s bladed tools, this Gerber keychain carabiner might actually be more useful for EDC. It boasts a handy three-chamber design — one solid ring, a second gated one, and the primary chamber — to keep your keychain gear organized and secure. It also boasts multi-tool functionality in the form of a package and bottle opener. Perhaps its most enticing feature, however, is its extremely low price.

ridge mini folder embedRidge

Ridge Mini Folder

Consistent with the brand’s beloved minimalist wallets, Ridge’s tiny folding knife offers surprising functionality beyond its streamlined form. Made of Sandvik 14C28N steel, the 1.6-inch drop-point blade deploys via nail nick, pivoting on smooth ceramic bearings, and stays in place thanks to a reliable slip-joint mechanism. Open, it measures 4.25 inches and closed, it measures 2.64 inches, enabling it to ride inconspicuously on your keychain until you need it.

Big Idea Design TPT Slide EZ Swap tools on woodBig Idea Design

Big Idea Design TPT Slide EZ Swap

Measuring just 3.0 inches by 1.1 inches, the TPT Slide is one of the most pocket-friendly utility knives on the market. Its also a feature-packed multi-tool boasting dozens of functions, including a bottle opener, numerous wrench sizes, drivers, a pry bar and so much more. Plus, now that it has an EZ Swap mechanism, its easier than ever to swap the replaceable blade.

Böker Plus Cox Titanium embedBöker

Böker Plus Cox Titanium

With its 2.6-inch M390 steel blade and original G10, Micarta and wood handles, the Jens Anso-designed Cox was already a top-notch folder. However, this reissue represents a significant upgrade with regard to the handle scales, which are now titanium. The bronze-anodized hardware and clip add a bit of visual flair to the knife’s rough stonewashed finish, the frame lock is super reliable and — for better or worse depending on your geographic location — two-handed opening (via the nail nick) makes it 42a-compliant.

Cold Steel Recon 1 MagnaCut knifeCold Steel

Cold Steel Recon 1 MagnaCut

Cold Steel’s Recon 1 is one of the brand’s most time-tested tactical folding knives. Now, this fan-favorite has the honor of being the brand’s first-ever offering with MagnaCut steel — probably the most popular, best all-around performing super steel of the moment. The knife also still has its signature silhouette, its Atlas Lock (an ultra-strong back lock variant), G10 handle scales and more.

leatherman signal cerakote embedLeatherman

Leaterman Signal (Cerakote Finish)

This fully loaded multi-tool already packs a whopping 19 functions, including multiple pliers, wire cutters and openers plus a 420HC combo knife, a saw, an awl, a hammer, a bit driver, box wrenches, a ferro rod, a diamond-coated sharpener and a safety whistle. Adding to the appeal of four eye-popping new colorways is Cerakote, an ultra-thin ceramic-based coating that improves wear resistance, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and chemical resistance.

Kershaw Bel Air Carbon Fiber EDC Knife on stump next to camera, binoculars, whiskeyKershaw

Kershaw Bel-Air Carbon Fiber

Kershaw’s Bel-Air was already special, incorporating a trendy, ambidextrous crossbar lock with an equally trendy MagnaCut super steel blade. Now, that knife has gotten even more premium (and lightweight) with the addition of a marbled carbon fiber handle. Pair those features and materials with its KVT ball-bearing pivot system and reversible deep carry pocket clip, and you’ve got a really special, versatile EDC knife.

boker x heckler n koch sfp tactical folder embedBöker

Böker x Heckler & Koch SFP Tactical Folder

Created in collaboration with a renowned German firearms manufacturer, this knife boasts a number of features that carry over nicely to EDC use. Made of reliable D2 steel, the 3.6-inch spearpoint blade deploys via a single ambidextrous thumb stud and is held in place by a sturdy liner lock. The handle scales, meanwhile, are constructed of lightweight yet durable polypropylene with ergonomic finger recesses that enable a secure grip even when wet and/or you are wearing gloves.

boker x heckler n koch sfp tactical folder all blackBöker

Böker x Heckler & Koch SFP Tactical Folder All Black

This knife boasts many of the same compelling features as the core SFP Tactical Folder, with one notable difference: its black, 3.6-inch D2 steel spearpoint blade is partially serrated, equipping it to tackle sawing tasks. Like the core model, it deploys via a single ambidextrous thumb stud and is held in place by a sturdy liner lock. It also features an ergonomic handle made of lightweight yet durable polypropylene, making it grippy enough for reliable use in wet conditions and/or while wearing gloves.

Tenable Gideon EDC KnifeTenable

Tenable Gideon

Named after Dead Sober Design’s beloved canine companion, who was named after a mythical beast, the Tenable Gideon is made to evoke the style of dragons (yes, the fire-breathing flying reptiles). While its material textures and design cues certainly achieve that, they’re also solid, reliable options for a hard-working EDC knife. Across six configurations — including those with G10 and Micarta scales — this Nitro-V knife is ready to take on whatever EDC quest you task it with.

Bestech Toddler EDC KnifeBestech

Bestech Toddler

Despite its name, the Bestech Toddler is a full-sized, fully-featured EDC flipper. The brand’s first collaboration with Torbé Custom Knives, it measures 7.012 inches altogether with a 2.72-inch drop point blade. Interestingly, the knife’s fine point and up-angled cutting edge are reminiscent of utility or crafting cutting tools, granting it plenty of precision and overall versatility. It’s paired to a G10 handle with a liner lock and ceramic ball-bearing pivot.

kansept bison productKansept Knives

Kansept Bison

Kansept tapped renowned designer Ray Laconico to update the Bowie knife, a frontiersman’s blade with a legend dating back nearly two centuries. Bringing his trademark minimalist style to the table, Laconico produced a fierce folder with a burly 4.25-inch clip-point blade made of tough, reliable S35VN steel. The 6.71-ounce beast also boasts multiple deployment methods (thumb studs and back flipper), a sturdy frame lock and eight different color treatments.

Gerber EAB MiniGerber

Gerber EAB Mini

Gerber sneakily updated its legendary EAB (short for Exchange-a-Blade) utility knife in two ways, both of which are better and more affordable than the original. This version is the smallest and most affordable of the two. It includes a stout 4.2-inch stainless steel body with a topographical design, easy slider deployment, a simple blade exchange mechanism and a keychain attachment. It’s also compatible with all standard razor blades.

Gerber EAB Slim

Gerber sneakily updated its legendary EAB (short for Exchange-a-Blade) utility knife in two ways, both of which are better and more affordable than the original. This version is the larger but slimmer of the two. It includes a slender 4.4-inch stainless steel body in silver or black, easy slider deployment (with a lock), a simple blade exchange mechanism and a lanyard attachment. It’s also compatible with all standard razor blades. Perhaps best of all, it has an integrated bottle opener.

Would the Omega Speedmaster Still Be an Icon If It Never Went to the Moon?

The Speedmaster reference ST 105.003 submitted by Omega was the only watch to pass every test, with the Longines and Rolex both failing during the high-temperature test.

Separately, Ragan gave all of the watches to astronauts to evaluate on their own without informing them of the test results. The astronauts unanimously chose the Speedmaster, clearing the path for Ragan to recommend the Omega for missions.

As a result, the Speedmaster Professional was the sole watch to earn NASA’s qualifications for manned space flight and extravehicular activity, and the rest, as they say, is history.

a lunar lander replica outside of the omega watch headquarters in switzerland
Omega’s relationship with NASA is immediately evident upon arriving at the brand’s HQ thanks to a life-sized lunar lander replica parked in front of the entrance.
Johnny Brayson for Gear Patrol

When visiting Omega, it’s impossible to miss the importance of the brand’s connection to NASA and space exploration. A life-sized lunar lander replica greets you in front of the brand’s headquarters, and the most elaborate section of the fascinating on-site museum is dedicated to the Speedmaster and space travel.

During my visit, my colleagues and I were presented with some incredible watches that told the story of Omega’s, and America’s, history in space.

Gerber’s Iconic Utility Knife Just Got Even Better (and Cheaper)

A utility knife can make an excellent addition to your EDC when well-executed. Using disposable razor blades, they’re relatively inexpensive but useful tools that can easily tackle most everyday carry cutting tasks.

Case in point, Gerber’s EAB (short for Exchange-a-Blade) is one of the brand’s most iconic and affordable cutting tools, costing just $18 (or $19 if you get the Lite version).

But thanks to a pair of sneaky drops, it got even cheaper and arguably better. Introducing: the Gerber EAB Mini and EAB Slim.

Gerber EAB Mini Utility Knives
The EAB Mini comes in silver and black, each with their own topographical-inspired design.
Gerber

Sometimes, smaller is better

The first of the pair, the EAB Mini, is named (perhaps obviously) for its small stature. At 4.2 inches and 1.3 ounces, it’s small enough for keychain carry. In fact, it has a keychain attachment for exactly that reason.

However, it’s still made from sturdy, solid stainless steel and houses a full-sized razor blade. Since that blade is removable and replaceable, it’s easy to pop it out for travel or swap it when it gets dull.

Right now, any golfer can finally buy a set and tweak it to their own specifications or opt to mimic Rory in full by choosing the same burly Project X 7.0 steel shaft and Golf Pride MCC grip he uses.

But the opportunity won’t last long. Taylor Made is only taking orders from May 1 – May 15th of 2025.

The set’s price starts at $1,499 and will increase depending on customizations.

The Hottest Luggage Niche of the Decade Just Added an Elite Competitor

Over the last five years, the aluminum luggage market has quietly honed a competitive edge worthy of Squid Games.

For decades, brands like Rimowa and Zero Haliburton mainly duked it out for aluminum hard-sided suitcase supremacy, with Tumi joining the mix at the tail end.

Then in 2022, Away shook up the market with its more affordable aluminum suitcase. And since then, other luggage upstarts like Sterling Pacific and Monos have entered the market at vastly different price points.

Now, a brand with incredible clout and provenance in the making-luxurious-looking-things-out-of-metal-business is joining the pack: Porsche Design.

A Surprising Brand First

A man's hand is shown holding the top handle of the Porsche Design Roadster aluminum suitcase.
Surprisingly, this is the first aluminum rolling suitcase made by Porsche Design. The brand’s roots go back to 1972, and the company has a well-established track record of making stylish metal products.
Porsche Design

It’s surprising, but the Roadster Aluminum Trolley is Porsche Design’s first aluminum suitcase. That feels especially weird, considering how long the brand has made other forms of luggage.

The line will be available in small, medium, and large sizes and includes all of the features you expect, including an infinitely adjustable multi-stop handle, TSA locks, Ball-bearing wheels, and internal compression and zipper organization panels.

Best known for slick titanium EDC gear, Titaner brings the lightweight, high-performance material into the kitchen with what it is calling “the world’s first 100% titanium oven tray.” Hyped advantages include more precise, consistent oven temps, 20% faster cooking times, freedom from chemical coatings and the versatility to double as a top-notch cutting board. Perhaps that helps explain how the elegantly minimalist design has raised $160,000 (1,625% of its funding goal) on Kickstarter with a week to go. Note: Early bird supporters can look forward to an estimated delivery in June.

Brooks Ghost 17Brooks

Brooks Ghost 17

For years, runners of all stripes have turned to the Brooks Ghost for a goldilocks trainer that balances comfort, durability and versatility. Now in its 17th iteration, the latest Ghost delivers even more of the good stuff, thanks to extra cushioning in both the heel and forefoot and a new mesh upper for equal parts breathability and structure.

Anker Liberty 5 Wireless EarbudsAnker

Anker Liberty 5

The Anker Liberty 5 are the company’s new wireless earbuds with active noise-cancellation. The earbuds share a similar stem as the brand’s 2023-released Liberty 4 (and Apple’s original AirPods), but come with improved ANC, support for Dolby Atmos audio and slightly longer battery life. The big difference is that they actually lack the built-in heart rate sensor of their predecessors, but are $20 cheaper. They cost $130 and come in two finishes: black or white.

Shokz OpenDots One wireless earbudsShokz

Shokz OpenDots One

Shokz’s OpenDots One are open-ear wireless earbuds with a clip-on earbud design, which Bose has made popular with its Ultra Open Earbuds. At A$200, these are more affordable alternatives. The most interesting feature about the OpenDots One is that there’s no designated left and right earbud — they’re interchangeable. When clipped to your ears, the earbuds automatically detect which ear they are on and configure their sound accordingly.

Filson’s New EDC Sling Is a Masterclass in Heritage Styling

That fabric also makes up the bag’s most identifying feature: a pair of buttoned patch pockets (another stylistic element borrowed from the Ranger jacket).

However, that heritage-inspired styling (and its material makeup) is only half the story with this bag. There’s also a bevy of other features and modern amenities that help elevate it into modern EDC conversation.

Filson x Housefly Ranger WaistpackFilson

Something fishy is going on

It’s important to note that the Ranger Waistpack was made with fishing in mind. As such, it’s sized to accommodate a large fly box, tippet spools, strike indicators and small tools. It also has a nylon ripstop rain cover that stows into a dedicated pocket and a removable shearling fly patch.

Funny enough, those fishing-ready features are a part of what makes the bag an excellent EDC contender. The storage compartments are spacious and perfect for your everyday carry gear — phone, keys, wallet and so on. And the rainfly adds a level of defense against inclement weather.

Bestech’s Latest Affordable Flipper Is a Full-Powered EDC Knife, Despite Its Moniker

For as cute as they can be, toddlers aren’t exactly all that sharp. Even the name “toddler” implies unsteadiness and imprecision. So, you could imagine my hesitation when Bestech announced its Toddler EDC knife — its first collaboration with Torbé Custom Knives.

Thankfully, the Bestech Toddler does not live up to its name at all. In fact, it’s quite the opposite, which is a very good thing.

Bestech Toddler EDC Knife
Despite its name, this knife is full-sized, measuring 7.012 inches long.
Bestech

Precise slicer

While the Toddler isn’t exactly small, measuring 7.01 inches, it does have a fairly short blade. However, even at just 2.2 inches, it packs plenty of cutting power courtesy of its shape.

Technically, it’s a drop point (or perhaps a reverse tanto), denoted by how its spine curves toward its tip about two-thirds of the way up. However, its up-angled cutting edge resembles crafting knives, like the famed X-acto.

This extremely affordable knife is also well-suited to EDC usage.

This Mid-Century Inspired Luxury Cooler Makes Even Yetis Seem Pedestrian

But The Hemingway’s al fresco elegance doesn’t come cheap.

The bigger 55-qt option costs an astounding $799. Business & Pleasure Co. also sells smaller, 35-qt sized versions of the coolers for $599 for those who need less can space or want to spend less.

For perspective, Yeti’s slightly bigger 65-qt Tundra haul retails for less than half ($375) the cost of The Hemingway. Adding a matching Tundra seat cushion to keep the feature set comparable adds an extra $150, which is still $275 less. And there are plenty of other solid roto-molded coolers from different brands that are even less expensive.

It’s also worth mentioning that powered 12-volt coolers from industry leaders like Dometic are also available for $799, though they hold less and clearly have different target consumers in mind.

The Business & Pleasure Co.The Hemingway Cooler in Navh is shown with the lid open to reveal ice on the inside. The cooler is sitting on the edge of a swimming pool. Business & Pleasure Co.

Still, the cost of The Hemingway is also a drop in the bucket compared to a summer in Mongi.

It should also be mentioned that Business & Pleasure Co. counts hotels and other hospitality-focused businesses as customers. This might partially explain why its pricing feels far beyond the rest of the market. At least don’t be surprised if you spot one at a resort.

Business & Pleasure is currently selling white, dusty pink, navy and sage green color options in both sizes directly on its website.

Ooni Koda 2 Pro

Ooni’s Koda 2 Pro may just be the best pizza oven for families or hosts. The large 18-inch cooking surface can handle oversized pies for sharing, while also being big enough to take in baking sheets or large skillets. With dual lateral gas burners, even heating extends across the entire stone with less chance of temperature fluctation. It’s also the first Ooni oven to come in two colorways — classic black and Slate Blue.

AG1 Next GenAG1

AG1 Next Gen

AG1 deems its latest powder its most clinically studied formula to date, and it has the backing of four clinical trials at release. AG1 Next Gen has more vitamins and minerals, including an enhanced methylated B complex. However, the big story here is the addition of five probiotic strains )Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM, Bifidobacterium lactis HN019, Lactobacillus casei LC-11 and Lactobacillus plantarum LP-115) for a truly all-in-one solution.

NRS Boundary 100 Personal Fishing Raft

Boasting an open-floor design, the NRS Boundary 100 combines the best elements of a kickboat and raft in one seamless package. Its innovation and versatility earned it the title of Best New Watercraft in Fly Fisherman’s 2025 Gear Guide. But that is only half the story; this personal watercraft also has a slew of other features, ranging from a suspended mesh cargo floor for gear storage to numerous mounts for oars, accessories and much more. This is an angler’s dreamboat … literally.

Panasonic open-ear wireless earbudsPanasonic

Panasonic RB-F10

The Panasonic RB-F10 are open-ear wireless earbuds with an earhook design. Like other open-ear options, the earbuds don’t cover your ear canal and naturally let ambient sounds in while wearing them. They have built-in mics that feature beamforming tech to reduce sound leakage, so people around you can’t hear you. They have an IPX4 water-resistance rating, support Bluetooth multi-point, and each earbud promises roughly seven hours of battery life on a single charge. Available in black or beige, they are expected to cost around $100. (US pricing and availability have yet to be confirmed.)

Salomon Aero Glide 3 GRVL

France’s own outdoor titan strides confidently into the gap between road and trail shoes with this update, which aims to blend comfort and performance. The upper employs seamless construction for a glove-like fit, the high-stack SalomonFOAM midsole (8mm drop) provides plenty of cushion and bounce, and the all-new Gravel Contragrip outsole features chevron lugs for reliable multi-directional grip on loose dirt, mud and anything else the unpaved path can throw at you.

This Minimalist Dress Watch Masterpiece Is An Incredible Value, Even at Its Sticker Price

In 2005, Raúl Pagès obtained his watchmaker-restorer diploma (with honors) in antique watchmaking. Then, in 2006, he achieved a diploma in watch complications design.

For over 15 years since then, he’s been working as a restorer and independent watchmaker, earning numerous accolades and a reputation for exceptional precision and refinement.

So it makes sense that a brand like Massena Lab, steeped in its own exceptional horological history, would call on Pagès to work together. Frankly, with the Massena Lab x Raúl Pagès Noctograph, the results speak for themselves.

Massena Lab x Raúl Pagès Noctograph Dress Watch
The Noctograph is the perfect blend of understated design and stylistic intrigue.
Massena Lab

Dress for success

It doesn’t take an expert to realize how gorgeous this minimalist dress watch is. Even among its most exceptional peers, it stands out for its understated, easy-on-the-eyes styling while retaining readability — a tough balance.

The dial relies on nearly bare minimum markings and subtle flourishes. Around its edges, there’s a fine, black railroad track denoting hours and minutes. At its center is a beautiful vertically brushed plate that shifts from slate to petrol to deep midnight depending on the angle from which you view it.

Honda CR-V TrailSportHonda

2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid TrailSport

As if the CR-V wasn’t popular enough (it’s the carmaker’s best-selling vehicle in America), Honda has decided to give it a pair of wheel and tire upgrades for drivers with the spirit of adventure. The 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid TrailSport comes with Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrains, while recessed valve stems on the 18-inch wheels should far better on the beaten path. Notably, the package is only available on the CR-V’s hybrid powertrain — expected to cost north of $37,000 when it arrives at dealerships — and it boasts the same Ash Green Metallic paint that featured on the Passport.

Grovemade Studio PadGrovemade

Grovemade Matte Studio Pad

Grovemade’s Matte Studio Pad is being positioned as an all-in-one desktop solution. It combines a matte desktop pad with a full-length hardwood tray and an aluminum chassis that lines its top — together, it can hold your various accessories, prop up your gadgets and even manage your cord situation. It’s available in two finishes: black or navy. (Note: the hardwood keyboard tray is sold separately.)

Hyperlite Mountain Gear Crosspeak 2 Camping Tent outdoors with campers cookingHyperlite Mountain Gear

Hyperlite Mountain Gear Crosspeak 2

This is the brand’s first-ever freestanding tent, meaning it doesn’t require stakes or guy lines and can maintain its structure with its poles. It’s also one of the lightest freestanding tents ever made, at only 34 ounces total. That weight can be partially credited to its Dyneema exterior, which is absurdly lightweight and equally strong and durable. Despite its extreme lightness, it is still spacious enough to comfortably sleep up to two full-grown adults.

RadRunner Max Electric Cargo Utility BikeRad Power Bikes

Rad Power Bikes RadRunner Max Electric Cargo Utility Bike

The well-known but embattled e-bike maker goes for broke with the most amped-up edition of its bestselling utility bike yet. The brand’s first-ever Class 3 e-bike can throttle up to 28 miles per hour while high-tech features such as radar detection and a torque sensor — not to mention hydraulic disc brakes — keep the ride smooth and safe. Shown here fully loaded with accessories and cargo, this beast can handle an impressive payload of 420 pounds and — with the $249 Range Extender — keep rolling up to a claimed 125 miles.

Now, that knife has gotten even more premium (and lightweight) with the addition of a marbled carbon fiber handle. Pair those features and materials with its KVT ball-bearing pivot system and reversible deep carry pocket clip, and you’ve got a really special, versatile EDC knife.

Built To Last

The Huntsman first appeared in the Victorinox catalog in 1902, and since then has been a mainstay in the brand’s product offering. The small and large blade on the Huntsman are made with stainless steel, sourced from all over Europe from suppliers that the Swiss brand has been working with for over 100 years. Stainless steel is lauded for its standout features, including its ability to be hardened and its corrosion resistance. The all-purpose Huntsman is designed to be used, not simply displayed, and its no-nonsense materials and construction convey its practical applications.

Utility and Precision

The Huntsman Swiss Army Knife is built to prepare you for almost any outdoor situation, and includes 15 distinct tools to complete the job: a reamer, punch and sewing awl to mend fabrics; a key ring; a small blade for finer everyday tasks, and a large blade for packages, food prep and larger jobs; a toothpick, can opener and corkscrew for camp prep; tweezers, multiple screwdrivers and a wire stripper for on-the—go jobs; and scissors and a saw, for cutting through wood.

The Huntsman is useful without being overly precious, and can keep up with the demands of the outdoors.

Designed For Life

Many of us can remember our fathers and grandfathers using their Swiss Army Knife for everyday tasks; some of us still have those very knives, handed down through generations. If you want to master everyday life, and invest in a pocket knife that your kids will use someday, there aren’t many tools that can compete with the Huntsman’s heritage, reputation and price point.

These days there are seemingly endless options when it comes to pocket knives and multitools, but for outdoor enthusiasts that value simplicity, precision, usefulness and quality, few alternatives can measure up to the Victorinox Huntsman.

Vollebak’s Carbon Fiber + Dyneema Pants Are Virtually Indestructible

Vollebak’s Carbon Fiber + Dyneema Pants will last for many years of uses and still look and feel comfortable. It offers lightweight strength and amazing stretch, making it great performance as well as stylish casual wear.

Using Dyneema and carbon fiber in its construction should already tell you that this pair means business. It can go on outdoor adventures and back to the urban jungle and still remain sturdy as the first day you wore it.

Vollebak says the Carbon Fiber + Dyneema Pants are the “strongest and stretchiest lightweight pants” they’ve ever built. On the surface, it features a subtle checked pattern that provides the fabric stylish protection.

Woven horizontally throughout the pants are thousands of white strands of Dyneema, which is 15x stronger than steel. Then woven vertically are thousands of strands of carbon fiber, which is usually used to reinforce aircraft and spacecraft components, and race cars due to its lightweight strength.

Hence, Vollebak’s Carbon Fiber + Dyneema Pants weighs just 350g yet it offers four-way stretch and is highly resistant to water and abrasion.  So you can take it camping or hiking and it can resist friction caused by impact with rocks, trees, dirt, and more.  These pants are durable against regular wear and tear over time.

Moreover, they are breathable with articulated construction at the knees for comfort whether when running or climbing. These pants are also fast drying so they work well as gym pants too. Vollebak’s Carbon Fiber + Dyneema Pants are super light, super stretchy, and tough you’d just want to wear them to every adventure you go to.
