After the Cavaliers beat the Raptors 128 to 93 to clinch the Eastern Conference semifinals, Lebron James donned a cap from a small L.A. brand in the postgame press conference. Made by Free and Easy, the washed black hat has ‘Don’t Trip’ embroidered across the crown. What’s more, it’s made in LA and costs just $36. While the style was sold out as of last night, the brand is currently taking orders and will ship within two weeks.

In early April, we wrote about a handful of brands embodying different aspects of the LA lifestyle and recommended the ‘Don’t Trip’ cap a standout piece. Relatively new to the apparel space, Free and Easy specializes in graphic tees, hoodies and caps. While the brand name and logo come from a defunct Japanese men’s style magazine of the same name, the vibe is a perfect fit for Southern California.

If you want a laid-back cap that channels a sun-faded West Coast mentality, head over to Free and Easy’s site to check out a range of affordable American-made styles.
