Tumi 19 Degree Aluminum Suitcases
Save 20%:Aluminum luggage is both incredibly durable and very striking. Unlike suitcases made with poly shells, aluminum carry-ons will protect your belongings from crush-related damage. And due to the nature of the material, they’ll also develop wear-patterns based on your travel, a jet-setter’s patina.

Though many aluminum suitcases are prohibitively expensive, you can currently save 20 percent on a couple solid options from Tumi. Both the International and Continental Carry Ons are now reduced at East Dane. Featuring four rolling wheels, TSA-integrated combination locks, interior zip pockets and a retractable handle, they’re well worth the small investment they command. — John Zientek

Seiko Watches
Save 45%: Seiko consistently offers some of the best value for money in watches, even before the sales start. That being said, we all relish the opportunity to save even more, and right now Macy’s is offering deep discounts on tons of popular models, from the Presage dress watch line to the professional Prospex diver models. With such variety on offer, there’s truly something for everybody. Use the code “VIP” at checkout to nab the extra 25% off. — Oren Hartov

Weston Backcountry Splitboards
Save up to $180: You don’t have to ride chairlifts to snowboard. Actually, the best snow and most interesting terrain are far from resort boundary ropes; you just have to walk to get to it. You’ll want a splitboard, a snowboard that separates into two skis for climbing with skins. Weston Backcountry makes some of the best available, and four of its models are on sale at REI right now for 20 percent off, a savings of nearly $200.
?
In many places, winter is already on its way out, and ski resorts will be closing in a matter of weeks (except in California; Mammoth recently announced that it would stay open through the Fourth of July). This is good news for splitboarders — it means that you’ll have resorts to yourself all spring until the last flake melts. — Tanner Bowden

Bellroy Backpacks Sale

As you start to think about warmer weather and the possibility of biking to work, a sturdy and spacious backpack should be top of mind. These two packs have just the right amount of space, plus look good whether you’re meeting a client for coffee or dinner or are going from the gym directly to the office. — Meg Lappe|

Bose Home Speaker 500
Save $50: Released this past summer, the Bose Home 500 is the company’s first Alexa-enabled smart speaker. You can think of it as being very similar to a Sonos One – you can ask Alexa to change songs, turn up the volume, or control your smart home devices – but the Home 500 can play with other Bose speakers instead of Sonos speakers in a multi-room setup.

If you want an Alexa-enabled smart speaker that sounds great on its own or can be paired with other Bose speakers, the Home 500 is a great and safe bet. Normally $400, you can get it for $50 less on Amazon today. — Andy Frakes

Herman Miller Aeron
Save 51%: By virtually any measure, Herman Miller’s Aeron task chair is one of, if not the, greatest desk chair of all-time. Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick’s design features supreme adjustability: seat height, arm height, lumbar support, reclining tension and forward and rear tilt locks. It was the first successful integration of airy mesh into task chair design. Shoot, it even earned a spot in the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection. Fair or not, any company that releases a high-end office chair today must bear comparison to the Aeron.

Today, the Aeron is 51 percent off on Ebay. These specific products are open-box models, which means they’re somewhere between new and used — so it’s fair to approach with caution (it may be worth contacting the seller before dropping close to $500). That said, this is about as affordable as an Aeron will go for. —Will Price
