As Fender’s iconic electric guitars inspired it, it makes sense that the turntable’s construction would also be similar. In fact, beneath the lacquered finish, the plinth is alder wood, the same tonally sound hardwood Fender has employed in its guitar manufacturing endeavors for decades.

That construction ensures that vinyl records played on this turntable will be enhanced by the wood’s natural, warm, organic foundation. Of course, there’s more to a turntable than the plinth, but MoFi Electronics has that part covered, too.

How the tables have turned

While the alder wood plinth is an outstanding base for the turntable’s hi-fi functionality, sound mechanics and electronics are also required. Thankfully, those (and more) are all present.

That starts with a USA-developed and custom-manufactured 10-inch tonearm equipped with ball bearings for smooth action and low friction operation. On the other end of its operational spectrum, it boasts reliable, high-quality, gold-plated RCA connectors.
