Amazon announced two new smart speakers at its big hardware event this year: the Echo Studio and the Echo Dot Max. The Echo Studio, which has been Amazon’s biggest and beefiest speaker for several years, has been completely redesigned with a new look and new drivers; it’s also roughly 40 percent smaller than its predecessor. The Echo Dot Max shares a similar new design, featuring a 3D knit fabric and a front-facing light ring with on-device controls, but it is roughly half the size of the new Echo Studio.

It’s Big G’s 70th birthday this year. To celebrate this kaiju-sized anniversary, Toho and Pabst Blue Ribbon have collaborated on a collection of specialty Godzilla-themed beer cans and cases. The collection spans both 12-ounce cans — which feature Godzilla artwork from Cuban-American artist Attack Peter — and 25-ounce ones — with art also featuring Godzilla, alongside a trio of the giant lizard’s contemporaries (Mechagodzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah). They should be hitting shelves in stores near you anytime now.

Lee and Buck Mason get the band back together for a collection of 1960s-era western wear. The trucker jacket from the first collaboration is back in creamy white and black 100-percent cotton 11.5-ounce Japanese sateen. However, the new Westerner shirt steals the show with sawtooth pockets, front and back shoulder yokes and diamond-shaped metal snaps fitted with round mother-of-pearl inserts. Designed in collaboration with esteemed chef Tom Colicchio, this carbon steel Made In roasting pan is naturally non-stick without the use of PFAS. Like other Tom Colicchio-driven cookware from Made In, its brass hardware will only look better with age and use.
