F&M by Mazzanti Automobili
There’s a growing list of obscure European auto manufacturers who are taking the auto industry by storm with their small-series bespoke supercars.
F&M by Mazzanti Automabili, an Italian company who cultivated the Evantra, the latest little known supercar to make it’s way in the industry.
The aggressive design of the Evantra has taken on a better start than similar custom-built supercars.
The feature that really stands out on the Evantra, and also my fav feature about this car, is the rear-hinged doors. When opened, they look like the wings of a predator ready to pounce.
The Evantra name in itself is intimidating. The supercar shares its name with the goddess of immortality by the Etruscan civilisation native to F&M’s fatherland of Tuscany.
Know on to the goods. Under the bonnet you will be given the choice of 3.5-litre flat sixes – available in organically blown 395bhp or twin-turbo 595bhp configuration.
With the latter, the Evantra has a 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds.
The Evantra’s steel chassis gives you a choice of either composite or hand-crafted aluminium bodywork. For a more custom look, choosing the hand-crafted aluminum will let the buyer customize the design even further.
Just five Evantras are scheduled to be built per year. Prices have not yet been announced, but buyers should expect the basic car to cost upwards of £250,000 thanks to its bespoke nature and sheer exclusivity.
