Work Pants Made From Ultra-Durable Tuff Duck
Tuff Duck sounds like it should be a Looney Tunes character, not a super durable fabric. And yet it’s not hamming it up with Sylvester or Bugs Bunny.
It’s in Taylor Stitch’s workshop where it’s turned into a pair of incredibly comfortable and reliable Tuff Duck work pants. The San Francisco apparel brand just released an entire collection of work pants made from this material.
Tuff Duck is a combination of hemp, organic cotton, recycled polyester, and a drop of spandex. The result is an incredibly durable fabric that’s also very comfortable from the first wear.
Since Tuff Duck is primarily hemp, it’s super strong and more abrasion-resistant. Plus, the fabric is ultimately much better for the environment than conventional all-cotton options. Taylor Stitch made no sacrifice on comfort and mobility. The pants will soften with wear, are breathable, and will move with you.
There are two Tuff Duck pants styles to choose from: The Camp, and The Chore. Each come in two colorways: Dark Olive and British Khaki. But all share the same core style. There are two angled front slash pockets, plus two back patch pockets for good measure. Both are bar-tacked at stress points. You’ll also find a button-fly closure.
Sizes range from 28 to 38, with a pre-sale price of $98. Regular pricing is set at $128, so take advantage of the discount while you can. A percentage of sales goes to the Golden Gate National Park Conservancy, by the way.
Wear Tuff Duck pants whether you’re out in the field or in a boardroom — people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
