Vandal One Track Car

Jeremy Sutton has been working for years to make his dream come true — building beautiful performance vehicles for track car enthusiasts. Sutton, chairman of Vandal Cars, says his new Vandal One Track Car is, thus far, the closest he’s come to seizing that vision.

It’s also the closest thing a car head will get to riding an F1 vehicle without necessarily being an expert racer. Vandal says it conceived the car to be the most advanced performance vehicle in the world.

The company pulled no punches and went full-throttle in terms of weight, power, aerodynamics, and technology.

No surprise, then, that the specs are beastly. We’re talking a 2.0L turbo engine putting out 340 or 560 horsepower. That and a Sadev six-speed full sequential transaxle with a paddle shift system.

It’s got an F1-Style pushrod front and rear with JRi adjustable racing dampers, anti-roll bars and custom spring rates. As for the brakes, you’re looking at a Monoblock 4-Pot aluminum calipers with vented rotors, which is capable of over 2Gs of braking force.

The vehicle has a pre-preg autoclave carbon fiber body and weighs in at 1,220 pounds, which amounts to a power-to-weight ratio of 3.59 pounds per horse. You also get FIA-compliant front, rear and side crash structures, plus FIA-spec survival cell with neck braces.

Of course, a beastly ride comes with a beastly asking price. The base model will run you $119,700 and requires a $1,000 refundable deposit. Optional features will cost you extra.
