Manhart GLR 700: Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S Coupe with 707hp

This is the new Manhart Performance GLR 700 SUV Coupe based on the Mercedes AMG GLC 63 S Coupe. The new SUV coupe will be produced in limited numbers, 10 units only.

The GLR 700 is powered by a modified 4.0 litre V8 biturbo, it has been equipped with a Manhart performance kit with an ECU software remap which increases the output power from the standard 510hp and 700 Nm to 707hp and 905 Nm of maximum torque.

The vehicle features a new turbo upgrade, an intercooler upgrade, a carbon intake and sports downpipes with 300-cell cats which are also responsible for the increase in power. In addition, the transmission has been upgraded as well and the height of the vehicle reduced by 30mm thanks to the standard air suspension with new coupling rods.

The exterior of the GLR 700 features a black Panamerican radiator grille, a set of in-house Spider Line alloy wheels of size 9×21 inches and 10.5×21 inches finished in satin black with gold rim decorations and tires measuring 265/40ZR21 and 295/35ZR21.

The interior on the other hand features all-new leather upholstery including gold accent and an Alcantara headliner.

Manhart Land Rover Defender Gets 512hp and Subtle Body Mods

This is Manhart Performance’s take on the new Land Rover Defender, they call it the DP 500 which has been extensively modified both technically and visually.

The basis for the model represented now is a Defender P400 AWD in a long five door body variant 110. The vehicle is powered by a 3.0 liter inline V6 petrol engine with an output of 400hp and 550 Nm of torque as standard.

Manhart performance has remapped the engine control software of the Defender and increased the output power to an 512 hp and 710 Nm of torque. This puts the model at the top together with the 5.0L supercharged V8 variant.

The new Defender DP 500 has been fitted with a stainless steel exhaust system which will be available with either carbon or ceramic-coated tailpipes. Furthermore, a Manhart brake upgrade and an optimization of the factory air suspension with regards to the chassis will be available on request. The air suspension lowers the ride height by 30mm either by adjusting the software or with the help of coupling rods.

The vehicle has been fitted with a set of Forged Line wheels in 10×24 inch and 295/30 ZR24 tires. Concave One wheels in size 10.5×22 inch with black finish and gold trim mounted on 295/40 tires are available for customers who prefer a smaller wheel set.

The exterior also features wing flares which make the vehicle appear broader, engine cover matching the color of the body and silver stripes applied on the black bodywork. The interior features high quality Alcantara leather and electrically operated Ergomed Recaro seats for the driver and front passenger. The Recaro seats include heating and cooling as well as integrated airbags.

Mini GP3 Gets Light Makeover with Manhart Performance

Quick off the mark, Manhart and Beek Auto Racing has unveiled the first tuning take on the brand new Mini GP3.

The Mini John Cooper Works GP was only recently revealed. It was first revealed at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November last year and deliveries began a few months ago while Europe was locked down.

Named the Manhart GP3 F350, the Mini gets a power boost from 306 hp and 450 Nm, up to 350 hp and 530 Nm of torque.

The 2.0 litre 4-cylinder power unit benefits from an ECU remap, a new intercooler from Airtec and a replacement pipe for the gasoline particulate filter with a Manhart cat-back exhaust system

Changes have also been made to the way that the GP3 looks. The build uses a full black matt wrap with gold accents typical of the German tuning firm.

The Mini GP3 also gets Manhart’s Concave One rims in the same finish. They measure 8.5×19 inches and are covered with 235/30 ZR19 tyres.

Work on the Mini GP3 suspension has been limited to a set of lowering springs manufactured by AST Suspension. They drop the ride height by 20 millimeters at the front and 15 millimeters at the rear. Manhart promise a coil-over suspension system soon.

Other additions in the pipeline include power increases through the addition of a carbon intake, as well as downpipes and different exhaust system setups.

Manhart MH8 600: BMW M850i Gets 621hp Package

We have yet to see the BMW M8 and tuning companies have already playing with the current range topping M850i. Manhart Performance have today announced a performance program for the current range topping BMW 8 Series. We believe that they are the first to tackle the highly anticipated luxury GT car, presumably keen to capitalise on the wait for the M Powered model!

The BMW M850i uses BMW’s 4.4 litre V8 power plant. Fitted to the 8 Series, the engine is also expected to make its way into the new X5 M50i as well as the M550i next year. It makes sense for Manhart to get to grips with it as early as possible.

The modification at this early stage is limited to just software optimisation. The MHTronik software does wonders for the performance though! Power is boosted by 91 hp up to 621 hp and torque rises to 870 Nm. Both figures that provide serious rivalry to the upcoming M8. Performance figures haven’t been announced, needless to say, 10ths of seconds will have been lost from the 100 km/h sprint. With the limiter removed, top speed will also have improved.

Manhart’s improvements are cosmetic too. The M850i gets a new set of front and rear carbon fibre spoilers. It sits lower, on H&R springs with a set of 100 millimetre quad tailpipes venting from a new muffler. Manhart have even switched out the wheels for a new set of 21 inch units.

Pricing for all of these modifications should be available through Manhart direct. Expect more optimisation options to come in time.
