Ninox FlatLay Hammock

Nothing beats a good sleep after a tiring day of hiking or trekking so it’s important to have a comfortable resting area to just lay back and relax. But you really only have a few options when you’re out of the comforts of your home and you can only rely on a hammock or a tent, which, if fortunate enough, does not leave you with body sores.

This is where the Ninox FlatLay Hammock comes in– it promises to let you sleep like you’re in the comfort of your own bed. It lets you sleep in any position you want, be it on your back, on your side, or on your stomach, and you still have enough space to move around. This spacious omnidirectional hammock uses soft Teslon 3 fabric to give you comfort while you sleep.

Best of all, this waterproof hammock sets up in less than sixty seconds because it doesn’t use knots but utilizes strong adjustable suspension cords. It is also adaptable to any terrain and wherever you set it up, you don’t have to worry about insects because it comes with a removable insect proof mesh.

The Ninox FlatLay Hammock is portable and lightweight so it’s an ideal companion in any of your outdoor adventures. It even comes with a compact smart storage bag for easy transport.

Mock One Compact Folding Hammock

Any innovation made to tech that keeps us in a state of relaxation immediately deserves our utmost attention. For that exact reason, we take an in-depth look at the Mock ONE from Republic of Durable Goods. The company’s Kickstarter page claims that it is “the world’s only compact folding hammock” and we believe it.

Color us impressed because the brilliant minds behind this product (company founders Jason Drew and Chris Svensrud) just eliminated the humble hammock’s biggest limitation—trees, or perhaps the lack of them. The company lives by the principle “make happy” and it definitely delivered.

The Mock ONE was designed to be used almost anywhere, which is why the entire thing just weighs 16 pounds. It is constructed out of 210T parachute nylon and steel, so don’t let its appearance fool you since this portable lounging apparatus can support up to 250 pounds in total.

The included carry bag securely holds the entire thing and features a shoulder strap, pockets, and backpack straps for added versatility. When not in use, it neatly folds into a very compact bundle that does not take up too much space in storage.

Once fully assembled, it offers the same experience as a traditional hammock with none of its caveats. The frame safely keeps you suspended 18 inches off the ground to keep snow, sand, and even shallow water away from the user. The foam padded ends can act as a headrest or cushion for your feet to maximize comfort.

Optional accessories are likewise available such as a tarp to protect you from the elements and a net to keep bugs away (aptly named “Mock ‘Squito” net). Additionally, the included sun shade boasts an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) rating of 50+.
