Garmin Vivosmart 4 Fitness Tracker
Previously, Garmin was a brand known for its GPS systems that were to go-to choice for car owners. However, lately, the company has been churning out quality fitness trackers that are going up against established names like Fitbit and others. Its latest product to hit the market is the Garmin Vivosmart 4. Other than its cache of features for tracking your activities and biometrics, this wearable device is looking a little more fashionable than some models from its range.
Its predecessor had a flush screen integrated into the silicone band. Meanwhile, the newer version sports a pronounced aluminum bezel that surrounds its OLED display. It’s possibly intended to keep scratches away from the polycarbonate lens that covers the touchscreen. Sadly, unlike other fitness wearables from Garmin, it does not come with a built-in GPS.
The $129.99 Garmin Vivosmart 4 pretty much does everything that the older model can do save for a few upgrades. The included optical heart rate sensor on the back can now measure your blood oxygen saturation levels. Another new feature takes all of the data gathered by the device’s sensors to come up with your “Body Battery.” The system correlates everything and advises you the best time to work out or rest. Users can also enjoy a longer battery life rated up to 7 days.
