Ducati Desmosedici GP12 Unveiling
Did anyone catch the hour-long online presentation this morning? Ducati Corse finally unveiled the official paint scheme of the perimeter frame Ducati Desmosedici GP12 from company headquarter’s in the Bologna suburb of Borgo Panigale. If you missed it, riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden tweeted photos of the bikes in the red, white, and green colors of the Italian flag, not long after Ducati released the official studio photos.
The bike wasn’t presented during the team intro in the Italian Dolomites that took place the first week in January. It caused much speculation about the progress of the all-new machines. Hidden in the carbon fiber black bodywork of a test mule, it has been tested twice in Sepang, at the beginning and end of February. The unveiling was the first time the public got a chance to see what the machines will look like when Rossi and Hayden take to the test track later this week for the final final pre-season MotoGP test in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
