Now’s Your Best Chance to Save on One of Our Favorite Radar Detectors

<!–Now’s the Best Time to Buy a Radar Detector • Gear Patrol<!– –>

don’t leave home without it

If you, like Ricky Bobby, wanna go fast when you’re behind the wheel of a car, a good radar detector is as essential as your driver’s license. (And in fact, the former could very much help you keep the latter.) We’ve spoken before about our love for the Escort Max360c, but that mighty piece of cop-spotting technology comes with a price: the price. At a cost of $650, it can be a little hard to justify.

Luckily, there’s another option. Step one rung down the Escort family tree, and you’ll find the Escort Max360. It boasts nearly all the same features as the Max360c; it’s just as good at hunting out everything from X-band to Ka-band radar, and can tell you about threats found through the crowd-sourced Escort Live app. The only real difference is that it doesn’t come with Wi-Fi; you’ll need to plug it into your computer to get updates.

If you can live with that — and let’s face it, that’s a tiny compromise — you can save big. In fact, right now, you can save even bigger; the Escort Max360 is currently marked down on Amazon, selling for just $450. If you don’t already have a radar detector on your windshield, you’re not gonna find a better time to buy one.

This Is the Last Day to Shop the Best Stainless Steel Cookware You Can Buy on Sale

<!–This Is the Last Day to Shop the Best Stainless Steel Cookware You Can Buy on Sale • Gear Patrol<!– –>

The Best a Pan Can Get

All-Clad’s covetable cookware has been the option for high-end stainless steel since the brand literally invented bonded cookware in 1971. The only knock against them? That price tag.

Today, however, is a mammoth exception — the All-Clad factory seconds sale is live. The lot includes pieces from all the brand’s classic lines — D5, C4, non-stick and a few limited edition lines. But if you just want classic All-Clad, look under the section labeled “Stainless Cookware.” There you’ll find all the saute pans, fry pans, stock pots and sauciers you could ever want. The only thing you need to access the sale is your email.

At up to 65 percent off, these are the lowest prices you’ll find on unused All-Clad outside of visiting the company’s in-person seconds sale at the factory. Today is the final day of the sale.

Note: Purchasing products through our links may earn us a portion of the sale, which supports our editorial team’s mission. Learn more here.

You Can Find Insane Savings on Top-of-the-Line Motorcycle Helmets Right Now

<!–You Can Find Insane Savings on Top-of-the-Line Motorcycle Helmets Right Now • Gear Patrol<!– –>

bargains to be had

Your motorcycle gear isn’t something you should take for granted. What you wear when you ride can literally save your skin, so it’s worth investing a little extra money to make sure you’re protected as well as possible.

However, while the motorcycle lifestyle can have a tantalizingly low cost of entry compared to owning a car, buying the necessary protective clothing — pants, jackets, boots and especially helmets — can quickly run up a steep tab, making the cheaper options more attractive, even if they may not be quite as good.

Right now, however, is the ideal time to upgrade your head protection if there ever was one. Right now over at Revzilla, there’s an insane sale on top-of-the-line motorcycle helmets. You can save up to $700 on select top-tier motorcycle helmets from brands you know and trust, like AGV, Schuberth and Bell. If you’ve always wanted the performance and protection from one of the best motorcycle helmets available today (and really, why wouldn’t you want that?), now’s your chance to save a few hundred dollars and upgrade your lid game at the same time.

For Less Than $10, This AirPods Accessory Is Practically a Steal

<!–For Less Than $10, This AirPods Accessory Is Practically a Steal • Gear Patrol<!– –>

A Gear Patrol Exclusive Deal

Nomad is offering a killer exclusive deal for Gear Patrol readers. You can buy its Rugged Cases for AirPods, which normally cost $30, for less than $10. That’s 67-percent off. All you have to do is use the code GEARPATROL67 at checkout.

Each Rugged Case is made of Horween leather and it adds an extra level of drop and scratch protection to your AirPods. More importantly, the cases come in three different colors (black, brown and gold) and allow you to differentiate your AirPods from everyone else’s.

A thing to note: these are the Nomad’s first-generation cases. They will fit with the second-gen AirPods and allow for wireless charging. The only thing is that these cases don’t have a hole that lets you see the charging indicator light on Apple’s newest AirPods.

In addition to the above exclusive deal, Nomad is offering a 20-percent site-wide deal on most of its accessories, including leather cases for AirPods Pro and the latest iPhones, as well as charging cables and wireless charging mats. To shop the deal, just use the code DADSNGRADS at checkout.

Don’t Miss the Best Motorcycle Riding Gear Deals of June 2020

<!–Save 40% or More With the Best Motorcycle Gear Deals of June • Gear Patrol<!– –>

the ride is calling and I must go

By now, odds are good you’ve already saddled up your motorcycle and hit the road quite a few times this spring. (Or can we call it summer now? Solstice be damned, it certainly feels summery outside.) Which also means you’ve probably realized which pieces of your riding kit need to be swapped out for new ones after a long winter and a cold, isolated spring. Much as we might wish it were otherwise, jackets, pants, gloves and other riding apparel don’t last forever…and even if they did, well, you’d probably get sick of them after a while.

So why not pick up some new apparel while the getting is good? As part of their summertime sale (which they’ve dubbed “The Ride Is Calling”), RevZilla is offering standout deals on a wide variety of great jackets, gloves, pants and other riding gear. We’ve pulled together half a dozen of the best choices at the biggest discounts below; each of them is marked down by at least 40 percent versus the original prices. Any of them would make for a great addition to your motorcycling outfit…but if you don’t see anything you like here, you can always find more deals at the link we’ve included at the bottom.

Amazon’s Best-Sounding Smart Speaker Is Cheaper Than Ever

<!–Amazon’s Best-Sounding Smart Speaker Is Cheaper Than Ever • Gear Patrol<!– –>

It Supports Dolby Atmos

The Echo Studio is Amazon’s biggest and best-sounding smart speaker — you can think of it as a way better-sounding Echo. It was released this past fall and typically goes for $200, but Amazon is discounting it right now for $170 ($30 off). It’s the cheapest the Echo Studio has ever been.

If you’re looking for a great-sounding speaker that’s also really affordable, the Echo Studio is your best bet. It’s Amazon’s first hi-fi speaker, with a total of five drivers (three midrange, a downward-firing woofer, and a front-firing tweeter), and it’s unique because it supports Dolby Atmos and can deliver a truly immersive 3D sound. It’s the ideal smart speaker for people who subscribe to Amazon Music HD, the company’s lossless streaming service.

This Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu Deal Is Still a Stellar Deal

<!–You Can Subscribe to Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+ for Wicked Cheap<!– –>

Save 25% Right Now

It’s never been cheaper to subscribe to Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+. You can get a bundle of all three for 25% off. Individually, Disney Plus costs $7 per month, Hulu costs $6 per month, and and ESPN+ costs $5 per month. That’s a total of $18 per month if you subscribe to all three, but right now you can bundle them together for $13 per month. The deal has been running for a few months now, but there’s no telling whether it’ll be perpetual or drop off the map soon.

There aren’t as many sporting events ESPN+ as there might be ordinarily, but the service has a ton of cool documentaries, series and featured films you can stream. Disney+ just added Frozen 2 to its catalog (Disney has yet to confirm a release date for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on its streaming service). And Hulu has a bunch of neat series such as The Handmaid’s Tale, Future Man and Marvel’s Runaways.

If you subscribe to any of the individual streaming services, but you want to combine your accounts to get the bundle deal, you can do so by visiting these links for Disney+, ESPN+ or Hulu.
