Belts are similar to shoes in that there are different types for a given situation — you wouldn’t wear dress shoes while hiking, so why would you wear a dress belt in that environment? For the times when you are outdoors and looking for a capable belt, the Arcade Guide Belt is a superb option.

The Guide Belt is built with heavy-duty elastic tech webbing that provides a burly stretch, is scuff-resistant and durable. Arcade paired the webbing with an updated, non-slip buckle backed by reinforced stitching. Part of Arcade’s utility belts line, the Guide is an expedition-worthy upgrade that can get the job done better than most.

Use promo code gearpatrolfs for free shipping on all online orders from Arcade Belts.

Therm-a-Rest Ridge Rest SOLite Sleeping Pad
Save 53%: There are three main types of sleeping pad: air pads, self-inflating pads and closed cell pads. Air pads, which are like packable, miniaturized versions of the full-sized inflatable beds you might buy to accommodate guests in your home, have quickly become popular because they’re the lightest and the most comfortable option. But closed-cell sleeping pads — the old school type made of foam that look like ridged yoga mats — shouldn’t be disregarded, and here’s why.

The main reason to opt for a closed-cell pad over an air mattress is durability. These pads will never puncture, and you’ll never wake up in the middle of the night to find that a tiny, indiscernible hole has brought you down to the cold ground. In this same vein, closed-cell pads are weatherproof. This is why you’ll often see long distance thru-hikers with these pads strapped to the outside of their backpacks — during multi-day treks through remote terrain a deflated sleeping pad isn’t an option. (Foam pads also make for handy seats when picnic tables aren’t available.)

Closed-cell pads gain that durability without adding too much additional weight, and they’re plenty warm also (they’re ideal for winter camping). What’s the downside then? They’re bulky, and not as comfortable as air pads. In the end, choosing the right sleeping pad will depend on the type of trip you’re setting out on, but there is one more factor to consider: price. Closed-cell pads are far and away the cheapest available — even the best of them can cost as little as $40, but there are great options available for even less.

Like Therm-a-Rest’s Ridge Rest SOLite, which is currently down 40 percent from its original price of $30 to $18 at Mountain Steals. Enter the code CYBER20 at checkout, and you can knock another 20 percent off that and bring it to $14. It’s as affordable as sleeping pads get. — Tanner Bowden

Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Set
Save 26%: I had a friend growing up who, when we went to summer camp, would show up with all of his clothing for the week carefully folded and contained in separate, labeled Ziploc bags. We were at that merciless age of adolescence during which something like this was worthy of ridicule — caring too much about anything was decidedly uncool — and he was routinely gibed every morning as we prepped for each day. But year over year he stuck to his system, and I know why: packing organizers make life out of a suitcase so much easier.

In multi-day backpacking trips and full-on expeditions, separating different items into individual containers is essential for not only for knowing where particular things are in a pinch but also for keeping clothing dry; organizers aren’t a matter of debate, they’re necessary. The consequences during casual trips are less dire but the benefits are the same: everything is easy to find, space inside luggage is maximized and clean clothing can be kept separate from the dirty.

One of our favorite collections of packing organizers, Eagle Creek’s Pack-It Specter Cubes, comes in a variety of sizes for varying needs and is ultralight so as not to take up any additional space inside a bag. Currently, a three-piece set is on sale at Amazon for 26 percent off. — Tanner Bowden

J.Crew x Red Wing Boots
Save $135 Back in 2007, also known as the year that featured T-Pain’s “Buy U a Drank” cracking the top five of the Billboard Hot 100, J. Crew and Red Wing came together to make a boot. That boot, known as the Roughneck, is (like all Red Wing’s) made in the US, features a leather upper and liner, a hardwearing Vibram rubber sole and Goodyear welt construction.

As we speak, the Roughneck is marked down 48 percent during J.Crew’s 48-hour sale — cutting the $280 price tag to $145. Use code 48HOURS at checkout for the discount. —Will Price

Common Projects Sneakers
Save up to 40%:In the world of luxury sneakers, Common Projects has set the bar in terms of style, quality and price-point. The brand’s elevated versions of iconic silhouettes are made in Italy from top-tier leather and feature gold-stamped serial number on the heels. The list prices are a hard sell for many people and the sneakers rarely go on sale, so when they do, you’d best act fast. Now at Need Supply Co., you can save up to 40 percent on two of the brand’s newer models. The Skate Low and New Track styles are available in various colors and EU sizes 40 to 45. Sure, they’re still expensive, but if you’ve had your eye on a pair, this is your chance! — John Zientek

Adidas Adizero Sale
Save 50% Every year, the marathon majors bucket list re-starts. Six grand marathons span the globe from London to Boston to Chicago to Tokyo. While the location and dates change and the weather varies immensely, one thing that you can always count on is seeing the same shoes. You’re going to spot the Nike 4%, a version of the Reebok Floatride, likely many variations of Brooks sneakers and the Adidas Adizero. The Adizero is Adidas’ race day sneaker. It’s lightweight so you can feel fast from the start line to the end of your 26.2 miles. Right now you can save 50 percent on a pair of Adidas Adizeros. — Meg Lappe

Amazon’s Furniture
Save 20% Near the end of 2018, Amazon announced the arrival of two of its own in-house furniture collections — Rivet and Stone & Beam. The prices are slightly higher than what’s typical of Amazon’s own brands (AmazonBasics in particular), but the collections are surprisingly, well, decent-looking. Rivet dons the mid-century modern cape and carries loads of more inexpensive versions of classic items, while Stone & Beam leans more into the faux-rustic farmhouse look.

Today, a few pages worth of Amazon furniture brands (there are a couple smaller lines, too) are marked 20 percent off. It should be noted that we haven’t tested these items out ourselves, but for the prices some of these items are going for, it’s worth a look. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorites from the sale below. —Will Price

Fresh flowers can liven up any household. But considering fresh roses last a week — if you’re lucky — they can also be wasteful.

The Everlasting Rose from Rosephoria cuts down on waste while still bringing plenty of flair. It will last up to a year, while also serving as a cost-effective alternative to constant bouquets of flowers: a 9-inch stem costs $150, while the 11-inch costs $190. It doesn’t hurt that each order comes with a premium crystal glass dome for an even more exquisite display.

Use discount code Gear15 for 15 percent off the Rosephoria Everlasting Rose.

Select Motorcycle HelmetsUnder $150
Under $150: Investing that little extra into a helmet is always a good idea. It is, after all, the only thing in your repertoire that protects your head. But, helmets can get pretty pricey and not every rider has the budget to pickup the same $900 helmet Marc Marquez wears when he’s bussy racking up MotoGP championships. As long as the helmet you’re looking to but is DOT, ECE or SNELL rated, you’re in good hands. So when there’s a sale for motorcycle helmets going for under $150, there’s a good chance you can land a hell of a deal on quality head protection. — Bryan Campbell

Fimbulvetr Snowshoes
Save 20%: When native North American tribes created them decades ago, snowshoes were designed for travel. They were long and wide (as they still are today) to provide a wearer with a platform that would prevent him or her from sinking into deep snow, making winter travel faster and less strenuous. The modern application of snowshoes is perhaps more aligned with sport than necessity, but they’re still built with that same concept, and thanks to the availability of strong and lightweight materials, they’re better than ever.

Fimbulvetr’s snowshoes are high-end and come with a price to match, but right now Backcountry is offering 20 percent off one full-priced piece of camping or climbing gear, and these innovative Norwegian winter walkers are included in that collection. To apply the discount, use the code Take20CC at checkout. — Tanner Bowden

Woolrich Camp Blanket
Save 16%: Now that they’ve adopted the same ripstop nylon exterior and warm fluffy interior found in sleeping bags, camp blankets have staked their resolute claim as functional outdoor bedding. Like that more traditional backcountry sleep sack, these new blankets are super-light, highly packable and incredibly warm. This newness hasn’t made long-established outdoor blankets obsolete either (if anything, it’s helped popularize them again). Those original blankets were made of wool, and there are some, like Woolrich in Pennsylvania, that continue to use the material to produce fabrics that are durable, warm and satisfyingly heavy. Plus, they look as good on a bed or couch inside as they do at a campsite.

Right now, Huckberry is offering Woolrich’s Camp Blanket, a throw-sized model made of a blend of recycled and new wool with a touch of nylon, for 16 percent off, along with a handful of other styles. — Tanner Bowden

Moccamaster KBS Coffee Maker
Save $120 Among the Moccamaster’s features and accolades, two things are most crucial: copper tube heating and the ability to disassemble. Copper coils, given the material’s natural heat conductivity, heat the water much more quickly than machines using steel or other methods (the only machine we’ve tested that brews faster is Breville’s Precision Brewer). The ability to take the whole thing apart is also unique, and allows for troubleshooting at fixing at home rather than losing your source of coffee to the mail for a few weeks (it’s also great for cleaning the machine).

Today, Moccamaster’s KBS model is more than $100 off on Massdrop. It’s basically a blacked-out version that uses a glass carafe and hot plate rather than the classic stainless steel thermo-carafe.

Sonos One
Save Up to $50: During Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Sonos offered its Sonos One speaker for $25 off, from $199 down to $175, but that deal has since dried up. Fortunately, it’s still a great time to buy this entry-level, Alexa-integrated speaker as Sonos is running another holiday deal; you can buy one Sonos One for $20 off, from $199 down to $179, which isn’t quite as good of a deal as before but it’s still decent. And if you buy two Sonos One speakers, you get $50 off, which is just as good as the deal Sonos ran over the Thanksgiving holiday. Both white and black models of the Sonos One are available. This deal will stay valid through December 25, 2018, or while supplies last. |

Garmin Forerunner Sale
Save $130:Garmin pumps out some of the best GPS running watches available. It starts with the Forerunner 25 and moves up to the 935 (at a cool $500). The higher the number, the more bells and whistles the smartwatch has, and the greater the price. The Garmin Forerunner 235 is a solid pick for someone who doesn’t want to spend $500 on a smartwatch but needs it to track every single run with just the push of a button. The 235 monitors your VO2 max and heart rate throughout the day, so you can keep up with your physical fitness levels and make sure they’re all in alignment. The battery life of 12 hours or possibly 12 weeks (depending if you use GPS tracking) is hard to match. A colorful watch face comes in three different watch bands: black, red or light blue.

Typically, the Forerunner 235 is $330 but is $130 off today. If you’re looking to spend less than $200 for a watch that still has GPS, it’s worth checking out the Forerunner 35, which is also on sale for $60 off. Pick one and get running. — Meg Lappe

The Best Deals of the Day: November 30, 2018

In 1707, the English physician Dr. John Floyer and London watchmaker Samuel Watson invented the first-ever pulsometer watch. This tool watch was crucial to the early days of medicine as it helped doctors with the simple task of taking a patient’s pulse. Now, a group of modern doctors has gotten together with Swiss watchmakers to reinvent this tool watch.

The Doplr Pulse-Watch is assembled by hand in Switzerland and features an automatic Swiss-made movement. Its 40mm polished stainless steel case is waterproof up to 100m and disinfectable, which is ideal for intensive medical use. More importantly, the Doplr can measure two vital signs: a patient’s pulse (via a pulsometer) and his or her respiratory rate (via an asthomometer). All of which makes this one commendable modern tool watch.

Pre-order from the collection now and receive the Pulse Watch before Christmas.

Moccamaster Coffee Maker
Save 20% Born more than a half-century ago, Technivorm’s Moccamaster has remained among the coffee elite from its earliest days to the present.

The machines gained notoriety early on for the use of copper tubing in its water heating cycle, a far better heat conductor than steel in any form. The Moccamaster has also been made and tested by hand in the Netherlands from the start, and to this day is still fully disassemblable — a rare trait that makes cleaning and upkeep much simpler.

Today on Amazon, the most popular Moccamaster model is at its lowest price ever on Amazon today — down from its $309 regular price to $247. This model uses a large steel carafe (it comes with a twist top to keep brewed coffee hot) but doesn’t have a hot plate. Even compared to the speediest coffee makers on the market nowadays, it’s one of the fastest (Breville’s Precision Brewer is a touch quicker). Make sure to get matching filters.

Klipsch RP-160M Reference Premiere Monitor Speakers
Save $250: The Klipsch RP-160M are high-end monitor speakers in the company’s Reference Premiere line. The most striking thing about them is the large gold Cerametallic woofer in the center of each speaker, which allows them to deliver accurate midrange and punchy bass. It should be noted that these are powerful audiophile-grade speakers, which the experts at Sound Vision suggest that they “require some space to perform optimally – a bit too big for a bookshelf in other words.” That said, they’ve rated them really highly – 94/100 – and Crutchfield also given them 5/5 stars. Normally $549, you can buy them from World Wide Stereo for just $299 – that’s way cheaper than you’ll find them anywhere else. On the website, the speakers are already discounted to $439 for the holidays, but if you type in the promo code CYBER it’ll drop them down to $299.

Norse Projects Black Aros Chinos
Save 34%:A pair of black chinos is one of the more versatile garments for any guy’s wardrobe. You can dress them up with a blazer and dress shoes or keep them casual with a sweatshirt and sneakers. And now at End, you can save 34 percent on some great black chinos from Norse Projects. The Aros chinos are made from lightweight Italian twill and feature a zipper closure and classic silhouette. For under $100, it would be hard to find a better pair. — John Zientek

These 5 Pocket Knives Are Awesome, and on Sale
Save up to 70%: Pocket knives can cost thousands, but price doesn’t signify utility. Right now, lots of great blades are on sale at Backcountry. — Tanner Bowden

Staub Dutch Oven
Save $185 Though frustratingly expensive, Staub Dutch ovens are among the most coveted in the cooking world. From a craftsmanship, prestige and performance perspective, the pots are on-par (if not better, for some people) than those made by Le Creuset.

More specifically, Staub’s ovens hold heat (they’re slightly heavier) and moisture (the lid is a significantly tighter fit) better than Le Creuset, which are good traits for stew and soup season, as consistent heat and moisture retention are critical to the finished dish’s taste.

Now through December, Food52 is offering Staub’s 4-quart, $284 oven for just $99. Available in matte black, cherry, turquoise or turmeric, the 4-quart is slightly smaller than the traditional 5.5- to 6-quart oven, but there’s still plenty of room for two or three people.

Anova Culinary Nano Sous Vide
Save $35 The sous vide tool is not deserving of its present condition. Confined for most of its life to the kitchens of restaurants and the odd gear head, it’s been labeled a tool with too few uses for the price. This isn’t really true.

For one, great and affordable sous vide circulators exist — just look at Anova Culinary’s Nova tool, which is the first legitimately good sous vide tool to retail under $100 (and is currently on sale for an all-time low price of $64).

Down Jacket Sale
Save 45%:Whether you’re planning to hike, camp or trail run a down jacket is an excellent way to keep warm. KEF LS50 Bookshelf Speakers
Save $300: The KEF LS50 are outstanding bookshelf speakers for anybody looking for a high-quality passive option to hook up to their receiver or record player. And they’re also way cheaper than the newer KEF LS50 Wireless – in fact, now they’re less than half the price. The KEF LS50 normally go for $1,300/pair, but KEF is running a discount from now until the end of the year dropping the KEF LS50 down to just shy of a $1,000. It’s definitely a pretty good deal, but it also poses an interesting question. The KEF LS50 speakers are now the same price as the much smaller, but more stream-friendly KEF LSX speakers. |

Milwaukee Tool Gear
Save Up to 60% Starting in 1924, Milwaukee Tool’s goal is to produce professional-grade tools that normal people can afford and use. It is one of the most respected names in tool and home care gear, and its stuff doesn’t usually come at a huge discount.

Today, those of us who have a yard or a weekend project coming up are in luck — a whole mess of its lawn care and DIY starter gear is discounted up to 60 percent off on eBay. The 60 sale items include edge trimmers, saws of all types, pull over jackets and lamps.

The Best Pieces of Outdoor Gear That Are Still Discounted
Save 25% and More: Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, but some of the best price cuts on outdoor gear are still available, for now. — Tanner Bowden

Levi’s Outerwear
Save up to 69%:If you find yourself at the tail end of November wishing you had a new mid-weight coat, Nordstrom Rack has you covered. For a limited time, a huge selection of Levi’s outerwear is up to 69 percent off. That means you can pick up a good everyday coat for $80 or less. Sure, they’re not fit for a blizzard, but the rain jackets, military jackets and bombers will keep you warm and dry in more mild climes. — John Zientek

Seiko 5 SNKD99K1
Save $98: Alright, we’ve got another one for you. As you likely already know, Seiko makes some of our favorite affordable mechanical watches, but the Seiko 5 line in particular holds a special place in our hearts here at Gear Patrol. Why, you might ask? Because they’re cheap, that’s why — and Seiko has been making them for decades, which means there are myriad dial designs to choose from on both the vintage side as well as the modern side.

This particular 5 SNKD99K1 is a particularly cool one for a few reasons: for one thing, you get a perfectly sized 37mm stainless steel case and a day-date display in both English and Spanish (why is this cool? Because you can brush up on your Spanish by looking at your wrist, that’s why!). You also get a beautiful blue dial, the Seiko 7S26 21-jewel automatic movement, 50m of water resistance, a mineral crystal, a display case back, a fixed bezel and a stainless steel bracelet. The only weird thing I should warn you about is that you can’t easily swap the bracelet out — it’s got a semi-integrated design in which the lug width is effectively reduced to roughly 10mm, so good luck finding a 10mm strap to fit in there.

If you like the steel bracelet, however, for $77 this Seiko 5 is sort of a no-brainer. — Oren Hartov

Drying off with a sopping wet towel is not how anyone should start their morning. Made from 100 percent long-stapled cotton, Ethohome bath towels are woven with a curved weave, meaning they’re lightweight, breathable and dry more quickly than the average bath towel. This not only results in a better overall feel, one that’s both soft and absorbent, but it also reduces the chances that your daily towel grows mold or microscopic bacteria. Unless, of course, you like that sort of thing.

Use discount code GP15 for 15 percent off your entire Ethohome order.

Seiko 5 SNZG
Save $145: If you tend to gravitate toward smaller watches, then the 37mm Seiko 5 SNK series is a great, affordable field watch. However, if you’re looking for something on the larger side, then the SNZG, which features a 42mm case, is probably a better bet. And the good news is that you can pick one up for $105 right now on Massdrop.

The SNZG features the automatic 7S36C 23-jewel movement with day-date complication and 41-hour power reserve, Hardlex crystal and display caseback, 100m of water resistance, lumed baton hands, and a red-tipped seconds hand. You also get an internal 24-hour scale and a stainless steel bracelet. If you’d prefer a different color, there are also beige, green and black options with matching straps for an additional $10.— Oren Hartov

Marpac Dohm Classic
Save 37% Since 1962, Marpac’s entire purpose has been rather singular: making people sleep better. The Dohm white noise generator is its most known, recommended and, arguably, most effective product.

The Dohm is a small, sci-fi-looking sleep accessory that is about as simple as it gets to operate (turn it on and twist the top until you like the emitted sound). It comes recommended by the likes of Wirecutter, Health, Sleep Advisor and many more, too.

In a product space filled to the brim with gimmicky crap and marketing promises, Marpac’s Dohm represents a simple, trusted solution to a problem everybody has. The classic Dohm (in white only) is marked down from $50 to $31 today, which is the lowest price we’ve ever seen it.

KEF Q150 Bookshelf Speakers
Save $250: KEF released its Q150 bookshelf speakers ($550) last year, in 2017, and they’re the next-evolution of the companies revered Q100 bookshelf speakers ($550). There are a couple big differences. The bass port has been moved to the back of the Q150s and their cabinet has a new rugged finish to help minimize distortion. Also, the new speakers now have the same Uni-Q driver array as the company’s high-end LS50 ($999) and LS50 Wireless ($1,999) speaker systems. As for sound, that’s going to make these really dynamic bookshelf speakers with a broad soundstage, rich midrange and highs, as well as punchy bass. The bottom line is that the KEF Q150 are really nice passive bookshelf speakers, especially for the price. And now Amazon is offering them for almost half off. The normally $550 bookshelf speakers are going for just $300 – that’s $250 off.

Otterbox Venture Cooler Sale
Save 15%:Otterbox is known for its success in protecting your phone from drops. Then the brand launched coolers. Its rugged coolers are just as intense as its dry boxes and phone cases. Last summer, Otterbox introduced its first cooler and proved its background in tech protection works just as great for cooler making. Each Venture cooler features an integrated injection-molding and high-grade cooling technologies. The anti-slip rubber feet stay put on long car rides and rickety platforms. Inside, some separators create compartments for wet and dry goods, and you can add on a cutting board or side table so anyone who’s with you can become your sous chef. Right now Otterbox is running a deal where all Venture coolers are 15 percent off. Pick from three sizes: the 25-, 45- and 65-quart. If you’re heading out for a weekend, opt for the $255 45-quart (down from $300) and if vacation lasts a week, the 65-quart at $298 (down from $350) will do the trick. — Meg Lappe

Mazama Cocktail Glasses
Save $13: To say ‘you don’t need a whiskey glass to drink whiskey’ is like saying ‘you don’t need shoes to run a mile.’ Sure, any old glass will get the job done, but at some point, you have to wonder why you’re drinking whiskey at all. These 8-ounce tumblers from Mazama, Tanner Goods’s sister company, would make a great addition to any self-respecting home bar. They come in three colors, all on sale at Huckberry — though you’ll receive the best deal on the Charcoal color, which is the best-looking one, anyway. — Jack Seemer

Bose QuietComfort 35 II Noise-Canceling Headphones
Save $50: The Bose QuietComfort 35 IIs are some of the best wireless, noise-canceling headphones you can buy. Kennedy Manufacturing Toolbox
Save $74 Kennedy Manufacturing is a very serious maker of toolboxes. Its founders — Charles and Howard Kennedy — invented metal toolboxes. One-hundred-and-seven years ago, the brothers weren’t the first to make them in America or the first to use some specific type of metal, they were the first to make a metal toolbox.
And, as it turns out, the first ever metal toolbox is still considered one of the best ever. Since the invention, the Kennedy brothers’ metal toolboxes and storage equipment has garnered popularity in the machinist and shop manager community for the use of heavy 20-gauge steel and attention to details like tool cushioning, elimination of sharp edges and movable section dividers. Also, just as they were when first sold, the Kennedy Toolboxes are guaranteed for life. This is a legitimately badass toolbox. Or, in the words of one Amazon reviewer, “This Toolbox is a work of art.”
Today the company’s 22-inch cantilever toolbox is $74 off on Amazon. It comes with tool dividers, classic vinyl interior cushioning and is made completely in the US.

Audio-Technica LP120 Turntable
Save $69 (23%): Even though it’s a few years old, the Audio-Technica LP120 is still a solid entry-level turntable for anybody looking to breath new life in their old records. It comes with a built-in preamp, so all you need is to pair it with some passive or powered bookshelf speakers. (You’ll need some records too, of course!) It plays quietly, so you don’t need to worry about a loud motor interfering with your tunes. And the LP120 has an old-school look to it, not too dissimilar to the classic Technics SL-1200MK2, which many vinyl enthusiasts will love. The other convenient thing about the LP120 is that its a USB record player, meaning it can digitize your LPs. This way, in the case that you aren’t near you turntable, you can still listen to the same high-quality audio if you’re on your phone or on your computer. |

Staying cozy in a hoody always sounds nice this time of year. But since it probably dresses down your outfit, it’s not always realistic to toss on that favorite sweatshirt. We have a second option that’s better though: the Foehn Robson Down Hoody.

Merging aesthetics and performance, the Robson Down Hoody utilizes a matte face Japanese-made stretch woven fabric that feels amazing, looks great and stretches. The DWR treatment helps repel light moisture and dirt while the 800-fill down is responsibly sourced. The Robson’s enhanced details like a side-entry zip, laser cut armpit ventilation, elastic wrist cuffs and an adjustable hem will have you rethinking what a cozy hoody can be.

And for Black Friday, you can get 25 percent off the Robson when you use code GP25.

Au Sabot’s ode to Thiers is a handsome folding knife with a 3.5-inch blade made of carbon steel that’s available with handles made of hardwoods like rosewood and olive as well as more exotic materials like the horn of African buffalo. The knife’s form was developed by the Confrerie du Couteau Le Thiers, which means “Brotherhood of the Thiers Knife,” during the nineties to pay homage to the town’s 600-year history crafting blades. Fifteen local masters worked over months to design the Le Theirs. Au Sabot makes its version by hand in its factory there and includes a fold-out corkscrew in the handle, which, as the French might say, is quite à-propos.

Today on Food52, its 4-quart, $284 oven in matte black, cherry, turquoise or turmeric, is marked down to $99. The 4-quart is slightly smaller than the traditional 5.5- to 6-quart oven, but is plenty of room when cooking for two or three people.

It has a 3-inch full-range speaker and its tuner is actually able to strengthen signals, which is great for those who are in areas of poor reception.

You also get a Hardlex crystal, display case back and stainless steel bracelet, and the watch is available in 3 colorways: blue, black and two-tone. — Oren Hartov

Leatherman Wave Plus Multi-Tool
Save 20%: Leatherman, like Kleenex and Band-Aid, is one of those brand names that has come to stand for the category of products it produces: multi-tools. That’s because we’ve collectively agreed that Leatherman produces some of the best available, and among the 50-plus tools in its arsenal, the Wave is the best-seller.

The Wave features all the tools one might imagine should be present in a multi-tool: serrated and plain-edge knives, pliers, scissors, a bottle and can opener, wire cutters, a screwdriver, a ruler, a file (for the “Plus” re-make Leatherman added replaceable wire cutters). Nothing overly-specialized or unnecessarily specific is present, just the essentials. It opens in a butterfly shape; it’s made of stainless steel; it is the classic Leatherman, which makes it the classic multi-tool.

Right now the Wave is on sale for 20 percent off at Amazon (and 10 percent off in black). The multi-tool is four inches when closed, weighs 8.5 ounces and comes with a classic leather sheath and a 25-year warranty. — Tanner Bowden
