You also get a box sapphire crystal with an internal magnifier and a steel bracelet. Oh, and that creamy, vintage-style lume. — Andrew Connor

If you bought the speaker and amplifier bundle separately, it’d cost you $1,199. This bundle saves you a total of $550, which is pretty amazing.

Patagonia Micro Puff Jacket
Save $62: Since it came out in the fall of 2017, Patagonia’s Micro Puff Jacket has been our choice for the best synthetic insulated jacket. Simply put, it strikes the perfect balance of warmth and weight (it’s the lightest insulated jacket that Patagonia has made to date). The secret to its innovation is a new type of insulation called PlumaFill that’s made up of down-mimicking polyester fibers that are secured together in one continuous, fluffy line, which zig-zags around beneath its ripstop nylon shell.

The Micro Puff has been such a success that Patagonia used it as the base for the Micro Puff Storm, a waterproof version of the jacket that came out in Fall 2018. Later this year Patagonia will also release the Macro Puff, a heavier and warmer puffy jacket that will use a heartier helping of PlumaFill (and will likely be in as high demand as the Micro Puff).

That Patagonia has released variations of the Micro Puff by no means makes the jacket obsolete. If anything, it’s further verification that it, and it’s fluffy filling, work pretty damn well. Not just in winter either — the Micro Puff’s lightweight warmth makes it ideal for cool summer nights and mornings and mountain adventures. Right now the Micro Puff is 25 percent off at REI in past season colors — a savings of $62. — Tanner Bowden

Adidas Ultraboost Sale
Save 20%: Pick up a pair of Adidas’s feel-good running sneakers for just $144 today. The Adidas Ultraboost is normally $180 but is 20 percent off. Here at Gear Patrol, the Boost sneakers we’ve tested have been some of our favorites — including the Solarboost — one of our best new running shoes of 2019. The hype around the new Adidas Ultraboost 19 is real, which means the original Ultraboost has been on sale quite frequently this year, but who know how long that will last. It’s responsive, so each footfall is soft yet fast. You can’t go wrong with a Boost purchase. — Meg Lappe

Viking 5-Ply Stainless Steel Fry Pan
Save 50%+: “Clad” in stainless steel cookware patois is code for a pan with various types of metals bonded to one another. Think of clad skillets like a sandwich; typically, the top and bottom layers are hardwearing, shiny stainless steel and the middle layers are various forms of quick-heating aluminum. Because of this, the best stainless steel cookware is clad metal — it heats faster and lasts longer than pure steel or aluminum cookware.

Today on Massdrop, Viking’s 5-ply fry pans in 8-inch and 12-inch options are well over 50 percent off retail price. The pans feature a more upward-sloping handle, slightly higher walls and heavier construction than similarly priced competition (like All-Clad). — Will Price

Mystery Ranch Urban Assault Backpack
Save 39%: In 1985 the founder of Mystery Ranch, Dana Gleason, invented a revolutionary internal frame design called ArcFlex that permanently changed how pack makers think about load bearing. But Gleason and co-founder Renee Sippel-Baker hit their stride when Navy SEALs approached them in search of custom packs. Now they craft bags for the military, backcountry firefighters and the US Forest Service, but they haven’t forgotten the everyday outdoorsman.

The Urban Assault pack, which is currently 39 percent off at Huckberry, utilizes the same technical design features that make Mystery Ranch bags suitable for the most rigorous users but it includes features that make it ideal for the urban inhabitant. It’s made with 500-denier Cordura nylon and has a unique three-zipper opening system, two internal accessory pockets, a laptop sleeve and a quick-access lid pouch. It also employs a fixed-harness frame system, which allows the commuter-friendly pack to perform like a high-end expedition backpack. — Tanner Bowden

It’s a high-end OLED TV that costs $2,500 on the company’s website, but it’s currently selling for $1,350 on Newegg.

Rev’It Pilot Jacket
Save 40%: Rev’It made a name for itself in the adventure motorcycle and high-performance spaces in Europe, protecting riders from head o toe with tactical-looking gear. Once they made the jump to the States, they learned low-key, subtle styling and minimal branding is the name of the game. Rev’It didn’t forget its roots, but pieces like the PilotJacket prove the Dutch brand can successfully jump into any space and meet the needs of riders.

The Pilot Jacket takes inspiration from WWII bomber pilots, its outer shell is made from 100 percent buffalo leather and comes with a detachable thermal liner. The Pilot jacket isn’t just some fashion-forward piece of outerwear, either, it’s built to hold CE-rated protective armor at the elbows, shoulders and back. Today, the Rev’It is marked down from $670 to $400. — Bryan Campbell

Today’s Best Deals: Mott & Bow’s Wildly Comfortable Jeans, Discounted Workout Gear & More

Welcome to Deals of Note, where Gear Patrol captures all the best deals of the day. You can also follow all our deal posts in the Deals section. Comments or concerns? We’d love to hear from you at deals@gearpatrol.com.

Most denim produced these days includes a bit of stretch — typically one to two percent is standard. Stretch, in this case, equates to comfort since the fabric moves with you instead of staying rigid. Mott & Bow’s latest soft twill denim line offers a greater percentage of stretch without losing a familiar feel. Made with 20-percent stretch Mercer denim, these jeans are probably the most comfortable you’ll ever wear.

The Mott & Bow soft twill denim is available in both slim and straight cuts and five washes (two shades of khaki, two shades of blue and olive green). The range of colors is incredibly versatile and you can wear them just like your favorite pair of chinos. So if you’re in the market for a new pair of comfortable go-anywhere pants, these jeans are worth checking out this spring.

Get 10 percent off your first Mott & Bow purchase when visiting its site through this story.

Save 50%: The “Mod Watch” is a recreation of a vintage model from the 1970s that uses a unique “roulette wheel” dial incorporating concentric 12-hour, 24-hour and 5-minute interval rings in alternating colors. It uses a 40mm steel case, a three-hand quartz movement, a mineral crystal, luminous hands, and a quick-release leather strap, available in several colors. Right now, you can get the Mod Watch in one of two dial colors and in several different strap colors for just $75, a 50% savings off of list price. — Oren Hartov

Lodge Squared Cast-Iron Skillet
Save $13: Lodge’s classic, dirt cheap cast-iron skillet is one of the best bangs for your buck in kitchendom. But a circular skillet isn’t withou. Because of the shape, only food in the center of the pan takes advantage of its size — meaning foods that are lengthier than others often struggle to fit. From frying bacon to making steaks or asparagus, a consistent width is necessary.

This is why squared cast-iron skillets exist, and you can get one today at a solid markdown. Lodge’s 10.5-inch squared skillet is just $19 today at both Amazon and Walmart. — Will Price

Saturdays NYC Spring Sale

Save $120: The Sony WH1000XM3 are the best noise-canceling headphones you can buy. This past December we gave them a 2018 GP100 award, which we give to the 100 best products of the year. Here’s what you need to know: Sony released the WH1000XM3 this past fall and they’re better than the Sony WH1000XM2 in every way. They sound better. They’re better at noise-cancellation. They have modern perks, like USB-C charging. And they still cost $350. Again, these are the best noise-canceling headphones you can buy. Period. And now you can get them for a discount. Patagonia Lightweight Black Hole Backpack
Save 40%: Of the well-loved products that Patagonia has created over the years — from ultralight synthetic insulation jackets to iconic fleeces — the Black Hole duffel is one that has weathered the years. The utilitarian gear hauler is made rugged enough to handle the rigors of weeks-long field expeditions yet practical enough that its features aren’t lost on casual travelers. (The 60-liter version is perfect for carry-on-only trips.)
The Black Hole duffel succeeds because its design is so simple — it has an accessible D-shaped opening, mesh pockets for a small amount of internal organization, removable backpack straps — and its laminated ripstop construction is both durable and weather-resistant. Patagonia hasn’t altered the bag much beyond changing the buckles and tweaking the material recipe to include more recycled content, but it did recently introduce a lightweight version of the bag that’s even more travel-friendly, but no less rugged. It’s precisely these qualities that make the 26-liter Lightweight Black Hole backpack excellent too. The pack uses the same hardwearing TPU-laminated ripstop fabric in an everyday bag that’s well suited to commuting and shorter adventures.
Similar to the duffel, the Black Hole Pack uses a wide opening to access its main compartment, which has a sleeve for a laptop or a hydration reservoir as well as smaller pockets for essential items. Unhindered by other unnecessary features, the bag is left to do what it should: provide ample space for whatever it is you might need to carry.
Right now Backcountry is selling Patagonia’s Lightweight Black Hole Pack for 40-percent off. — Tanner Bowden

Today’s Best Deals: Urban EDC Supply’s WWI-Inspired Lighter, Discounted Filson Bags & More

Welcome to Deals of Note, where Gear Patrol captures all the best deals of the day. You can also follow all our deal posts in the Deals section. Comments or concerns? We’d love to hear from you at deals@gearpatrol.com.

Soldiers in World War I supposedly crafted lighters from spent bullet cases while in the trenches. While this story is debated among collectors, one thing we do know is that Akomplice’s Trench Lighter looks just like these original cigarette lighters with its machined brass, artillery-case inspired design. And, it even takes nods from WWI in how it functions: the Trench Lighter conceals its flame, something supposedly in place as a way to hide the light from potential snipers while in the trenches.

The Akomplice Trench Lighter measures 3 inches tall and features a wind-guard and characteristic striker mechanism. It takes standard liquid lighter fluid to ensure you’ll have this durable number for a lifetime. And thanks to Urban EDC Supply you can get 10 percent off the Akomplice Trench Lighter by using the discount code GP10. We’d say that’s an upgrade to whatever disposable lighter you have in your pocket.

Excellent Coffee Mugs
Save 30%: During Need Supply’s ongoing Friends & Family sale, you could knock 30 percent off Vans sneakers, Anglepoise lamps, Bang & Olufsen headphones and almost everything else on the site, but we’d get coffee mugs. LG’s B8 OLED TV
Save Over $500: The LG B8 is the company’s entry-level OLED TV, but its picture quality is just as good as the company’s higher-end model, like the LG C8. If you’re looking to get an OLED TV, this is one of the best deals we’ve seen.

The deal is on a 55-inch model, which is rare because it’s a really popular-sized TV. (Most homes don’t need or can’t fit, a TV that’s larger than 55-inches.) And it’s going for a little over $1,000, which is a lot less expensive than what LG is currently selling its 55-inch LG B8 OLED TVs.
— JD DiGiovanni

TRX Suspension Training System
Save 20%: Arrange it thoughtfully and outfit it appropriately, and your home gym can be an entirely capable alternative to a pricey gym membership. It doesn’t have to call for heavy and bulky (not to mention expensive) equipment, either. TRX created its original suspension trainer with exactly this type of functional minimalism in mind — it was invented by a Navy SEAL squadron commander named Randy Hetrick who was searching for a way to stay fit during deployment.

Hetrick’s original version was made of a jiu-jitsu belt and parachute webbing, but the design has since been refined. The system sets up virtually anywhere, and one size is suitable for upper body, lower body and core workouts. It comes with a mesh bag for storage and travel and includes workout primers developed by professional trainers.

Like an as-seen-on-TV contraption, it can be adapted to various workouts and targeted exercises. Unlike that hulking machine, it can be bought in fewer than 12 installments, especially now that it’s 20 percent off.
— Tanner Bowden

Yeti Rambler Sale
Save $20: Pick up a 64-ounce vacuum sealed Yeti Rambler for just $50 today. With summer camping season right around the corner, now’s a good time to stock up on base camp accessories. The stainless steel bottle comes with a wide mouth (ideal for ice and drinking), and a screw top sealed leakproof lid. Whether you use for water, coffee, iced tea or beer is up to you. Pack it in your car for road trips, bring it to the climbing wall with you, or save for a picnic in the park — whatever your ideal summer activity is.
— Meg Lappe

Filson Bags on Sale
Save up to 44%: Today at Nordstrom Rack you can pick up Filson’s rugged twill tote or small duffle bag for up to 44 percent less than usual. And right now on Amazon, Filson’s classic twill briefcase is discounted to just $185 from its usual price of $325.

I can attest to the quality and sheer utility of the briefcase: it’s been my everyday bag for over two years now and it’s barely beginning to show signs of use after being overstuffed and banged around inside planes, trains and automobiles. If you’re in need of a sturdy, versatile American-made bag that will likely outlast whatever you carry inside it (and look great the entire time) this is your chance.

And two, it charges via USB-C, meaning you can charge it with the same setup you use with most new smartphones and laptops (iPhones being the exception), as well as a Nintendo Switch. Its 10000mAh capacity essentially doubles (or more) the battery life of your current iPhone or Android smartphone.

In case you don’t know where to start, here’s a wardrobe’s worth of options. — Andy Frakes

SOG Dark Energy 120A EDC Flashlight
Save 34%: SOG is better known for its pocket knives but the company’s EDC flashlights, like the Dark Energy 120A that’s currently 34 percent off at REI, adhere to the same quality standard. For instance, that same 120A model has five modes (full brightness, low brightness, reading mode, strobe and momentary on) has a case made of high-grade aluminum and is waterproof against immersion up to one meter for 30 minutes. It’s also 4.5 inches long, which, like many of SOG’s knives, allow it to fit in a pocket, so it’s always at hand. — Tanner Bowden

Roomba 650 (Refurb)
Save $240: Thanks to robust customer support, solid warranties, unequaled suction and continuous improvements, the Roomba has dominated the robo-vacuum market for nearly two decades. Its older models, though not as kitted-out as the ultra-powerful and smart i7+, still do the job just fine. The 650 is schedulable, adjusts suction to floor types automatically and identifies areas of your home where debris accumulates. Today on Ebay, a refurbished 650 is marked all the way down to $160 — easily the lowest price we’ve seen for Roombas (old or new). As it’s listed by a third-party seller, it’s worth messaging the seller to inquire about refurbishing specifics and warranty changes. — Will Price

Nike Gyakusou Zoom Fly Sneakers
Save $28:Inspired by Tokyo’s Gyakusou International Running Association, Undercover founder and designer Jun Takahashi has been collaborating with Nike since 2010 to produce impressive collections of forward-thinking, functional running gear and high-end streetwear.

In a time when Nike sells its Epic React Flyknit 2 sneaker for $150 and the Pegasus 35 Turbo running shoe for $180, paying $190 for these special Takahashi-designed Gyakusou sneakers doesn’t seem too wild. And that price seems even less wild when it’s knocked down to $162, which is what you’ll pay today thanks to a sale from Need Supply. Snag yours while they last. — Andy Frakes

Seiko 5 SNZF Sea Urchin Dive Watch
Save 60%: The Seiko 5 SNZF “Sea Urchin” is one of our favorite Seiko 5 models, and right now, you can grab one for $130, which is 60% off MSRP. Available in several dial and strap options, the SNZF features the automatic Seiko 7S36 23-jewel movement, a 42mm stainless steel case, a unidirectional dive bezel and a Hardlex crystal and display case back. With 100m of water resistance and the option for either a stainless steel bracelet or rubber strap, the SNZF is the perfect watch for summer. — Oren Hartov

Fluance RT81 Turntable
Save $40: This is one of our favorite entry-level turntables and it’s currently on sale on Amazon. The RT81 has a built-in preamp so, to play your own records, you just need to add passive bookshelf speakers. (Cool feature: This preamp can be turned off, too, in case you want to add separate components and build out your system later on down the road.) It’s also one of the best-looking turntables out there (in my opinion). If you’re just getting into vinyl and you’re looking for a solid turntable, the RT81 is a great one to consider.

Tojiro DP Gyutou Knife
Save $10: Brandt Cox is a former professional chef and cofounder of New Orleans’ Coutelier NOLA knife shop. When we asked him to name the best bang-for-your-buck Japanese chef’s knife, he didn’t hesitate. “[The Tojiro DP Series] is one of the best price-to-performance value knives we’ve tested or stocked,” he said.

The blade Brandt described as a “gateway drug” into Japanese knives, is on sale today — shoppers can save a modest $10 on the 8.2-inch Tojiro DP Gyutou. The DP series Gyutou is made with hardwearing, wear-resistant VG10 knife steel and the classically thin bevels of a Japanese kitchen knife, but it also sports a western ergonomic-focused handle most Japanese knife newbs are familiar with. Don’t forget to sharpen it. — Will Price

Health Supplements from GNC
Buy One, Get One 50 Percent Off: Supplements can be expensive, typically costing more than a clean diet and a good night’s sleep, but that extra cost is often worth it if you’re shooting for a big race qualifying time or a personal best in the gym. The good news: GNC’s current sale lets you buy one product from their wide selection and get a second one at half-price. If you’re looking for a high-quality protein powder, energy-boosting pre-workout mix, joint health support or meal-replacement shakes, you’ll find a great option or two at GNC without having to empty your billfold. — Andy Frakes

Camp Chef National Parks Cast Iron Set
Save 21%: Camp Chef’s cast iron skillet and dutch oven bundle is currently 21 percent off at Backcountry. Sure, there are backpacking companies that produce collapsible cooking pots and ultralight frying pans that weigh mere ounces, making it hard to imagine hefting cast iron cookware to a campsite. But it’s worth it; those lightweight items suffice on long journeys, but if you don’t have to worry about weight — car camping, rafting trips, short hikes — a cast iron skillet or pot is ideal for outdoor cooking. Not only is cast iron durable, but you can place it directly into a campfire if you need to. Camp Chef’s set is stamped with scenes from America’s iconic National Parks (to help differentiate it from the iron you use at home). — Tanner Bowden

Marshall Acton Wireless Speaker
Save $130: The small-but-powerful Acton wireless speaker boasts up to 50 watts of audio output. There are also classic analog-style controls for bass, treble and volume, not to mention Bluetooth connectivity. Best of all, it’s hugely discounted on eBay right now. (Note: Marshall just announced a second-generation model of this speaker, the Acton II Bluetooth, with a slightly more refined designed and support for Bluetooth 5.0.)

Kammok Bobcat Trail Quilt
Save 20%: The Bobcat looks like a sleeping bag that’s been given the blanket treatment — it’s rectangular with down-filled diamond baffles — but it hides an array of smart features that give it the extra functionality it needs to become a reliable piece of camping gear. For one, Kammok used top-notch Atmos 20D ripstop nylon and responsibly-sourced, water repellent down. It also has cinch cords at either end and snaps running down its sides so that it can effectively close up like a sleeping bag if that’s the way you want to use it. It also comes with straps that link it to your sleeping pad so it won’t fall off in the middle of the night and a conversion kit that turns it into an underquilt for sleeping in a hammock. Coleman Coolers

There’s something to be said for cheap coolers though, the kind you’ve seen at barbecues and tailgates (red or blue bottom, white lid). Actually, if you buy one from the selection of Coleman coolers currently on sale at REI, it could cost less than $20. — Tanner Bowden

It also comes with straps that link it to your sleeping pad so it won’t fall off in the middle of the night and a conversion kit that turns it into an underquilt for sleeping in a hammock. These attributes make the Bobcat ideal for backpacking and camping, but even if you have no use for them the quilt is still a warm and light solution for the home or the camper. — Tanner Bowden

Bose SoundTouch 10
Save $100 (50%): Even though the Bose SoundTouch 10 ($200 $100) has been around for a few years, it’s still one of my favorite wireless speakers for the home. It sounds great and it’s dead simple to use. All you do is plug it in, download the app and then connect the speaker to your home’s wi-fi network. It will play music directly from the Spotify, Pandora, Deezer, iTunes or Amazon Music app. It’s basically just like using a Sonos speaker, except if you want to integrate it into a wireless multi-room system, you have to do so with other Bose SoundTouch speakers instead of Sonos speakers.

CRKT Swindle
Save 34%: Deception lies at the core of CRKT’s aptly-named Swindle pocket knife. Closed, the Swindle appears to be a fairly-typical folder with a thumb stud opening. But the stud isn’t mounted to the knife’s spine; in fact, it isn’t part of the blade at all. The actual knife blade betrays conventional designs, deploying with a flipper tap from the other side to produce what CRKT describes as an “uphill curve.” The decoy stud isn’t just that either — that bit of protruding steel is an equally-unique, spring-assisted pocket clip that leaves the Swindle’s handle smooth.

Designed by revered knife maker Ken Onion, the Swindle won the award for “Most Innovative Imported Design” at the 2013 Blade Show and has continued in CRKT’s production line since. The blade is just over three inches and comes in two versions — one made of high-carbon steel, and a premium version with Sandvik stainless steel and a milled handle. Both are currently on sale at Amazon — the basic for 34 percent off and the premium for 42 percent off. — Tanner Bowden

Lodge Cast-Iron Grill Press
Save $16: Do you hate when bacon curls up in a pan and doesn’t build an even crust? Do you want a solution to this issue for the cost of roughly one packet of bacon? If you answered “yes” to both questions, consider Lodge’s discounted cast-iron grill press.

It’s heavy, rectangular and you drop it on top of food you’re trying to get a solid sear on. The three-pound weight evens out what you’re cooking and holds it in place — there’s not much to it. The press is marked down over 50 percent off on Amazon today. —Will Price

J. Crew Spring Sale

Stock up on classic chinos, pastel sweaters, seersucker shirts and low-top sneakers while you can, and take on the remainder of spring in style. — Andy Frakes

Weights are requisite home gym gear and necessary for strength-based at-home workouts. And these durable CAP rubber coated dumbbell weights are ideal for a variety of exercises. While you can do most fitness moves with just your bodyweight, adding a pair of dumbbells ups the intensity level leading to the results you want.

The rubber ends mean they won’t rust, and the hex-shaped design makes it easy to hold a plank and row. Right now, you can pick up a couple of 25-pounders for $13 off or 20-pounders for $16.70 off. Buy a pair, then start pumping out overhead presses, dumbbells squats and AMRAP (as many reps as possible) bicep curls. — Meg Lappe

Dainese Stripes D1 Perforated Leather Jacket
Save $351: Dainese has been protecting riders on the street, on the track and in the dirt since the ’70s, so they know a thing or two about style and performance, and the Stripes D1 Perforated Leather Jacket is a prime example. The outer shell is tough full grain cowhide for a timeless casual style but hidden underneath are CE level 2 pads at the elbows and shoulders, and a pocket on the back for an option back protector. Between the style and design, the level of protection and the utility of the perforated leather for cooling, the Stripes D1 is an ideal jacket for going into the office straight from the morning commute — it just looks good everywhere. Best of all, the Stripes D1 usually retails for $600, but today it’s marked down to $249. — Bryan Campbell

Nike Gyakusou Sneakers
Save 15%: Inspired by Tokyo’s Gyakusou International Running Association, Undercover founder and designer Jun Takahashi has been collaborating with Nike since 2010 to produce impressive collections of forward-thinking, functional running gear and high end streetwear.

Anker Soundcore Liberty Air True Wireless Earbuds

Earlier this year, we reviewed the Soundcore Liberty Air and called them the best AirPod alternatives that actually still look like AirPods. Peak Design Travel Bundle
Save $50: We had a chance to review the Travel Backpack early on, and our reviewer concluded that it’s “a great bag that can legitimately tote both camera gear and travel essentials… you can go around the world with just this pack on your back.” The brilliance of the bag is in its design — it has access points on the back, sides and top, handles for carrying on every side, and shoulder straps and a hipbelt that tuck away. Some of the smaller highlights include theft-deterrent zippers, a concealed passport stash pocket, a soft sunglasses pocket and a compression snap system that brings that allows the bag to go from 45 to 35 liters.

If you’re familiar with Peak Design, then you’d expect this level of consideration in the bag. But the smaller items in the collection are treated equally — the Dopp kit and tech organizer are best in class with features we haven’t seen anywhere else (like an easy-to-clean toothbrush compartment). — Tanner Bowden

Competitive Cyclist Windbreaker Sale
Save 55%: Right now, a variety of windbreaker jackets are on sale at Competitive Cyclist for up to 55 percent off. After a brief sighting of summer this past weekend (which made riding exquisite), we’re quickly back to mid-spring and the dregs of winter days, which means layering up on the bike is the key to staying warm. The blustery wind this week makes it feel much colder than the thermometer reads, meaning a wind-resistant jacket is necessary for rides. It traps warmth as well as helps you handle any head or tailwinds. We picked out a few of our favorite jackets below to help you get started, but there are many more on the site. — Meg Lappe

Red Wing Heritage Boots
Save 36%: When you’re presented with the chance to save on Red Wing Heritage boots, you’d be foolish to pass it up. The brand’s boots are rarely on sale and when they are, sizes are often limited. But now at Nordstrom Rack, you can save 36 percent on a pair of classic Red Wing Heritage Moc-Toe boots available in sizes 7 to 13. This American-made style features Brown Boomer leather from the S.B. Foot Tanning Company in Minnesota and a non-marking outsole. What are you waiting for? — John Zientek

Rhone Celliant Tee
Save 31%: We should all ask more of our t-shirts. It’s no longer enough that they fit us well, that they’re not only comfortable while relaxing at home but also an hour into a workout. Now, they have to help us shed sweat, control odor and keep us cool or warm depending on the temperature. Some work beyond even that, like Rhone’s Celliant Tee, which is currently on sale at Huckberry for 31 percent off.

According to Rhone, the Celliant Tee increases athletes’ blood flow and aids in effective oxygen use. It does that with one key ingredient that’s right in its name: Celliant. Celliant has been implemented in a wide range of products that includes sheets and ski boots as, according to the company that produces it, “a proprietary mineral matrix that can be embedded into the core of a yarn.” There, it works to recycle the heat emitted by your body as infrared light to provide more energy and as a result aid in muscle performance and recovery.

We’re not sure whether Celliant’s claims are true or not. Even if they aren’t, Rhone’s athletic t-shirt looks good, is plenty comfy during exercise and offers a host of benefits before managing blood flow. Maybe, in the end, that’s enough for a t-shirt (plus that nice discount). — Tanner Bowden

Todd Snyder X Timex Blackjack Watch
Save 28%: Todd Snyder’s access to the Timex archives has resulted in all sorts of cool collaborations over the past few years, but the updated versions of the once-obscure “Sprite” models from the 1970s have proven so be some of our favorites. We were enthusiastic about the “Blackjack” watch when it first debuted, but in case you need a refresher, this is a sleek, automotive-inspired timepiece with cool “roulette wheel” dial done up in black and white, a black-finished case, 50m of water resistance, a quartz movement and a black Nato strap. The watch generally retails for only $138, but right now, you can nab it for just $99 — Oren Hartov

Whether you’re partial to low or high-top lace-ups, slip-ons or even shoes with velcro closures (why not?), you can find something here. This sale isn’t likely to go on for long though, so it’ll pay to act quickly. — John Zientek

Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar
Save $200: The Bose SoundTouch 300 is an excellent soundbar that will work well with any of the latest 4K TVs. It supports Alexa as well. When it was released in 2017, Bose was selling the SoundTouch 300 for $699 — but being two-years-old, Amazon has dropped its price to $499. It’s a pretty solid deal, especially considering the soundbar is very similar in price, size and capabilities to the Sonos Playbar ($699); actually, according to CNET‘s Ty Pendlebury, the SoundTouch 300 has the Playbar beat “in terms of both sound stage and ‘you are there’ detail.”

CAP Dumbbell Sale
Save 23%: CAP makes some of the best dumbbells available, and you can pick up a pair of 20- or 25-pounders for up to 23 percent off.

Some of the Best Workout Shorts Available Are on Sale
Save 30%: A crucial aspect of any workout is comfort, not just in how you feel but what you’re wearing. It’s a fact that makes an outwardly simple piece of clothing like a pair of shorts all-important, and mundane details like pocket placement and waistband material (not to mention the debate over built-in liners) introduce a significant level of variability into the span what’s available. Today, a dedicated group of brands is addressing workout shorts — for the gym, for running, for yoga and more — in creative (and comfortable) ways. Many of our favorite models, and those preferred by professional trainers, from Ten Thousand, Rhone, Wolaco and more are currently on sale at Huckberry for 30 percent off. — Tanner Bowden

Lodge 12-Inch Cast Iron Skillet
Save $17: Good news: Lodge’s 12-inch skillet is marked down to just $25 at Amazon. Its 10 inches of cooking space (the 12-inch designation refers to a wall-to-wall measurement, not cooking space) is the ideal size for most stovetop burners — any bigger and heat distribution issues are exacerbated, any smaller and you can’t cook a whole lot. Plus, unlike Lodge’s behemoth 13- and 15-inch pans, the 12-inch will actually fit in a kitchen cabinet. — Will Price
