Land Rover Range Rover Velar Project Kahn P300 Pace Car

Earlier this week, we received exciting news about an upcoming armored SUV with insane power. We’re talking about the 1,000 horsepower 2020 Rezvani Tank, which is an insane upgrade over its predecessor. So far, it’s one ride that shaping up to be a monster for good reason. However, before the week ends, we are getting word that another badass SUV is on show. Therefore, its time to check out the Land Rover Range Rover Velar Project Kahn P300 Pace Car.

The name is definitely a mouthful, but with the slew of upgrades Kahn is throwing in, it deserves to keep it. What we love about this custom job is the sleek and stealthy appearance of the matte black colorway it’s sporting. The shop calls it Satin Black with Bronze detailing and it looks absolutely stunning on the SUV. Moreover, the 23-inch Pace Car Wheels come in a Dark Bronze tint that adds a layer of elegance to its ebony aesthetics.

Meanwhile, we’re also seeing generous amounts of carbon fiber components that help with overall weight reduction. To match the classy exterior of the SUV, the interior sports a matching tone, which is exceptional. All of the seats feature Herringbone-quilted and perforated leather upholstery, while the doors panels also get a leather treatment. Owners will likewise find that almost everything inside is covered in premium leatherwork. It’s not every day that you can drape about 90 percent of a vehicle in black and get away it. However, the Range Rover Velar Project Kahn P300 Pace Car manages to do so with style.

Geigercars Jeep Trackhawk Gulf Custom SUV

This year, a carmaker is bidding goodbye to the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Ford confirms that the 2019 competition will be the last time it participates. Between 1966 and 1969, the Blue Oval boasted four consecutive wins but lost all succeeding races until it won another title again in 2016.

The machine that made it happen is the sporty GT, which even today still looks incredibly sexy. Perhaps one of the most iconic colorway that it came in was the Gulf Oil livery. The Geigercars Jeep Trackhawk Gulf, on the other hand, is a custom project that paints the SUV in light blue and orange.

First of all, color us impressed, because we never thought that this color combo with a deep racing heritage looks good on anything but a race car. After all, other than the Ford GT40, the McLaren F1 GTR and Porsche 917 likewise donned the coat. These automobiles are equally notable thanks to their victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans races.

Going back, you should know that this Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is not only flaunting a fancy paint job. The Germany-based shop is also throwing in some tweaks to make the SUV even more formidable. Adding a set of new springs to adjust the suspension lets it sit about more than an inch lower than the original’s ride height.

With a touch of world-class German engineering, the Geigercars Jeep Trackhawk Gulf is getting a significant boost in performance. The shop is also adding tweaks such as forged pistons, new air filters, a supercharger, and a whole lot more. What you get is an insanely powerful 900 horsepower engine and a top speed of 194 mph.

Brabus 850 4×4² ‘One of Five’ Final Edition

Automotive enthusiasts would argue that the stock configuration for most vehicles are already the best there is. Nevertheless, you should note that these are purists who enjoy their rides without the fuss. On the other hand, other gearheads would love to argue that aftermarket customization can elevate everything to another level. To prove that latter’s point we ask you to check out the Brabus 850 4×4² ‘One of Five’ Final Edition. This beefy souped-up luxury SUV is ready to take on the highway or even traverse off-road pathways for your enjoyment.

This noteworthy project starts off with a stock Mercedes-AMG G63, which is already a capable ride on its own. The name is definitely a mouthful but is probably appropriate given the number of tweaks it comes with. Starting with the engine, Brabus is swapping out the original twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that produces 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. In its place, they’re putting in a 6.0-liter V8 pushing the envelope up to 838 horsepower with 1,069 lb-ft of torque. With the new powerplant in place, the SUV goes from zero to 62 miles per hour in less than five seconds.

Tackling unforgiving terrain should be effortless with the 23.6-inch ground clearance given by the SUV’s custom portal axles. Furthermore, each of its 22-inch MB wheels is equipped with Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires. Other exterior upgrades include carbon fiber elements, front/rear skid plates, and carbon fender flares. The Brabus 850 4×4² ‘One of Five’ Final Edition is certainly not skimping on quality, elegance, and performance.

Hennessey Performance 2019 Lincoln Navigator

Depending on the shop, customization options can range from simple to insane. For example, taking a stock vehicle and boosting its power and performance. Just a couple of weeks ago, we featured a 2019 McLaren 600LT Spider that got a remarkable upgrade. The original engine was already generating around 592 horsepower, after several tweaks, we’re looking at an 800-hp monster. Now, the same remarkable team of tuners is back on point with the Hennessey Performance 2019 Lincon Navigator.

It looks like they’re holding back a little this time around with just a modest bump in power. Nevertheless, packing in more horses under the hood is always a good thing. The default 3.5-liter Ford EcoBoost V6 twin turbo goes from 450 to 600 horsepower. They’re calling it the HPE600 package and it also includes other modifications to improve handling and performance. Track tests show that the luxury-grade SUV can zoom from a standstill to 60 mph in less than five seconds.

Other than power and speed, the Hennessy Performance 2019 Lincoln Navigator gets a couple of other stuff. Modifications include a stainless steel exhaust system, a high-flow air induction system, and an air-to-air front-mounted intercooler. Owners can likewise avail of a set of 22-inch wheels wrapped with performance rubber alongside the lowering kit option. Despite the changes, the Jet Black vehicle still retains its stunning aesthetics. There’s no telling what the shop’s next project will be, but we are definitely excited to feature more of their work in the future. Perhaps we’ll see overkill items such as the 1,200-hp Jeep Trackhawk and others.
