Best 10 iPhone X Wireless Chargers

W

hile many Android users have been taking advantage of wireless charging for a few years now, Apple has recently joined the revolution. They did this with iPhone 8 and iPhone X, both relatively new to the tech world. Despite the newer Apple phones out today, the iPhone X still remains the talk of the town. Thus, people want to charge them up even more for their great usage. However, finding iPhone X wireless chargers is not exactly easy.

We’re perfectly aware of this. Yet this is why we have an article out on the subject. To some, it might be tough to know what wireless charging actually is. It’s not too difficult to understand, as it’s merely placing your phone on a pad or dock. This is the part plugged into the wall, and your phone remains free. No more fiddling with wires!

It is important to note that iPhone X wireless chargers support three different speeds. 5W is the standard for most wireless chargers. However, the faster versions at 7.5W and 10W are now available.

“Faster charging” means that the device receives more than the standard 5 watts of power transfer. With a 7.5-watt charger, the iPhone X sees a 50% charge within a half hour. Meanwhile, it would take the standard 5W up to 2 hours to accomplish this. That is why having a faster charger can make a huge difference if you have a busy schedule.

Most of the wireless chargers are quite similar, so you might be more influenced by price when deciding to buy one. Don’t be, as price does not dictate the best chargers. Check out our guide below as well as the FAQs to learn more!

How do iPhone X wireless chargers work?

Phone manufacturers are continually refining their algorithms to improve their products. This led them to Inductive wireless charging and how it operated. Basically, chargers generate a lot of heat due to the higher wattages here. Once they pass certain temperatures, the power threshold is reduced and slows down the charge.

These iPhone X wireless chargers have a built-in fan to keep temps down for this reason.

iPhone X wireless chargers transfer energy from the dock or pad to a receiver in the back of the phone via electromagnetic induction. The dock creates an alternating electromagnetic field by using an induction coil. The receiver coil present in the phone then converts the field into electricity which is fed into the battery.

To work correctly, both the charger and phone have to be in close proximity to each other and be correctly aligned.

The speed at which your phone will charge on one is affected by a number of factors, including that correctly aligned dock mentioned earlier.

There are a few other factors which affect the speed of wireless charging; the phone needs to be perfectly aligned with the dock. Every charging pad or dock has built-in sensor coils which need to be aligned with your phone to begin charging. Some pads have one coil only while other wireless chargers can have up to three coils built in them.

Some wireless chargers have a slippery surface which makes it difficult for your phone to stay in one place and interferes with its charging process. You can avoid this issue by either buying a non-slip charger pad or by keeping your phone in its case while charging.

Is wireless charging as good as traditional charging?

In most cases, wireless charging is slower than using traditional cable wire chargers. But this only holds true for the standard 5W chargers. If you want to charge your phone quickly, it is recommended to buy a fast charger such as 7W or 10W ones.

Traditional chargers may take more than 4 hours to recharge iPhone X or 8 completely but using a 7.5W the charging time is reduced to half or even less than that.

Traditional chargers need to be plugged in, and they end up damaging your phone’s jock in the long term. Wireless chargers do not require plugging in any wire which keeps your phone in perfect condition for longer.

Wireless chargers are typically rated by wattage or output amperage with a 5V wireless charger comparable to a typical 1A USB charger (like the one that comes with iPhone 7).

The new high-powered wireless chargers are capable of recharging larger batteries smartphones in less than two hours.

Do I have to take off my case to use the wireless charger?

The short answer to this question is no; you can charge your iPhone X with its cover on any wireless dock or pad as long as there is no metal in the case. Any metal sticker or magnetic phone mount won’t allow the phone to charge.

Qi is a method of inductive charging which works at farther distances than from transmission point. It uses a system of magnetic coils which have both a receiver and a transmitter. If your phone case is made of metal or has any metal piece in it, it will negatively affect the transmitters ability to send signals.

Even a tiny magnetic plate used in car mounts will diminish the charging capabilities of a wireless pad.

When searching for a wireless charger for your phone, try to find one that is Qi certified, and you will have no problem charging your phone in its case. Cheap chargers which do not specifically state that they are Qi certified will cause you some case charging grief.

It will also cause trouble when aligning your phone to the wireless dock; causing the charging process to slow down or completely stop.

There are many wireless charger manufacturers who try to pass their products off as supporting Qi standards. For a product to get Qi certified it has to pass many rounds of testing to receive the certification. If you are unsure, check out the WPC website which updates its list of approved devices every hour.

If there is one thing I have learned in my life is that it’s better to spend a little bit more when buying a high-end product than to buy a cheap alternative. You will simply end up spending more when you will have to repair or replace it. So, it’s best to stick to high-end, certified products if you want to save money in the long run.

All Charged Up Yet?

Android users have been enjoying wireless charging for a while now whereas only the latest Apple phones have joined the league recently. Several manufacturers have partnered with Apple to design fast chargers which support all Qi compatible devices.

However, Apple is only keeping wireless pads from Belkin and Mophie in its outlets.

Options from other manufacturers will improve with time as they roll out their own chargers which are likely to be certified under Apple’s MFi program. When buying a wireless charger, it is recommended to look for WPC certification which allows manufacturers to provide verification that their products comply with the latest Qi specifications.

However, a missing Qi logo or lack of WPC certification does not necessarily mean that a wireless charger is substandard in performance. There are many non-certified wireless chargers available in the market which are quite popular among users.

We at Men’s Gear encourage that you look up any potential purchases in the WPC database, so you can stay safe from risks of overheating and short circuit while charging. This will help you narrow down your choice for a wireless charger that meets your requirements and is completely safe as well.

HP ZBook Studio Laptop

Professionals such as video editors, photographers, and digital artists normally rely on desktop-based workstations to complete their work. This setup means that most of the time, these people are just inside their offices or homes. Portable options are very limited and sometimes underpowered. Those who think that the second-generation Surface Studio is the answer should know that it’s a desktop model. That’s why one brand took matters into their own hands and created the HP ZBook Studio.

The brand packages some of the best next-generation specs into a compact notebook that can replace a full-size workstation. According to the manufacturer, its new machine is perfect for engineers, architects, and creators. HP makes a bold claim that the ZBook Studio’s 15.6-inch screen is currently the world’s brightest 4K UHD display at 600 nits. Additionally, the ambient light sensor and anti-glare tech automatically adjust the settings for maximum eye comfort. The built-in Sure View Gen 2 feature keeps on-screen information private so you can work even in crowded areas.

Processing power won’t be a hindrance thanks to the 8th-generation Intel Core i9 or Xeon chipsets with up to 64GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the NVIDIA Quadro P2000 GPU handles all your graphical needs, while the four Bang & Olufsen-tuned speakers pump out impressive audio. Its 6-cell 95.6 Wh battery lasts up to 16 hours and quickly recovers up to 50 percent in just 45 minutes of charging. The HP ZBook Studio is a great alternative for people who want laptops that perform above expectations.

Rolls-Royce Autonomous Ship Concept

Most of the world’s top carmakers recently confirmed their commitment to making the shift to electric vehicles. Each one promises to come up with advanced innovations to make future transport efficient and safe. Moreover, the majority of these brands will continue to improve the technology that makes autonomous cars better and safer. However, the Rolls-Royce Autonomous Ship concept hints at a bigger application.

Nevertheless, Rolls-Royce is preparing to take the self-driving system from the road to the open sea. Alongside Intel, the luxury carmaker plans to create a fleet of automated ships that will sail with a skeleton crew or none at all.

You’ve probably read about Volvo’s proposed concept, which illustrated a convoy of unmanned trucks that can haul cargo. Each one will be monitored and controlled through a central server manned by human workers. On the other hand, Rolls-Royce wants to apply a similar concept to a flotilla of vessels. Earlier this year, the company took the first step and tested the AI technology on a few ships.

Intel will provide Rolls-Royce 3D NAND SSDs and Xeon CPUs to build a network that will control the fleet. Using an advanced artificial intelligence algorithm, each ship will gather data via an array of sensors. These include the use of satellite data, weather forecasts, LIDAR, Radar, HD cameras, and thermal cameras. Once trials and adjustments are completed, it won’t be long before literal “ghost ships” sail the seven seas.

Microsoft Xbox Project xCloud Game Streaming Service

These days, faster and reliable internet connections are making streaming services even more accessible to consumers. We are living in a time wherein high-definition and even 4K content is readily available online and through other platforms. A few years ago, the games industry made a prediction that advancements in technology will soon allow publishers to stream games. Services such as GameFly Streaming, Sony’s PlayStation Now, NVIDIA’s GeForce Now, are now available. One is noticeably absent from the list, but that will soon change with the upcoming Microsoft Xbox Project xCloud.

There were already hints about this forthcoming service from the Xbox team earlier this year. At the 2018 E3, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer hinted that the company wants to make its library of games accessible on mobile devices. Moreover, everybody should be glad to find out that it will also include third-party titles. Earlier speculation suggested that the selection of software will be limited to first-party games only. So far, things are looking good for and we hope that it stays that way.

According to insiders, Microsoft is already paving the way in one of its data centers. Engineers are preparing the servers by taking the Xbox console apart and transferring the technology into a custom blade server. Comparing Project xCloud’s features against competing services is turning it into an attractive option for gamers. The ability to play games on multiple platforms and especially on mobile devices seems like a winning combination in our opinion. We can’t wait to hear more about it soon.

Samsung Galaxy Book 2

If you’re planning to upgrade your 2-in-1 soon, Microsoft and HP are offering some of the best products. The late 2018 launch of the Surface Pro 6 and the Envy Spectre Folio deliver premium quality and performance. Google wants to grab a piece of the pie as well with the Pixel Slate, but ChromeOS might not be everyone’s cup of tea. While it might look like a heated battle between the Palo Alto-based manufacturer and the Redmond tech giant, another competitor jumps into the mix–the Samsung Galaxy Book 2.

It appears the South Korean consumer electronics company might be riding on the success of its Galaxy Tab S4. However, when it comes to Windows-based platforms, it’s an entirely different ball game. The aforementioned device along with the likes of the iPad Pro is a great portable alternative to notebooks. However, their performance is normally not up to par for serious productivity. With that in mind, the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 will not be replacing your laptop anytime soon. Yet, its spec sheet appears ideal for those who don’t really need the extra computing horsepower.

We have to honestly point out that the 12-inch super AMOLED display is stunning. The screen technology is known for its vibrant colors and deep blacks. Packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 chipset with 4GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 will be running on Windows 10 S. This combination of power-friendly components allows the 2-in-1 to deliver up to 20 hours of battery life. The $999.99 retail package reportedly includes an S Pen and keyboard cover.

Nokia X7

HMD Global continues to push the Nokia brand forward in order to reclaim its former glory. So far, the tech industry’s response to its products has been favorable. A lot of consumers—us included—are glad that the company finally embraced the Android platform for its smartphones. It even threw a little fan service into the mix with the modern rework of the iconic 3310 and 8110 handsets. However, innovation is ultimately its agenda and the Nokia X7 is another step in the right direction.

For now, the manufacturer seems content to focus its resources on the mid-range market. Most industry analysts find it a brilliant move. As it currently stands, the high-end segment is fiercely contested by the likes of Apple, Samsung, Huawei, and others. Therefore, a careful approach starting with the middle ground and slowing pushing upward is the best course of action for now. The Nokia X7 is an ideal stepping stone towards that goal.

Looking at its spec sheet, the Nokia X7 definitely falls into the mid-range category. You have a fairly new Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset alongside 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Internal storage options available are 64GB and 128GB that corresponds to the size of the RAM respectively. Similar to the majority of smartphones in the same range, it’s marketed for its imaging capabilities. The 3,500mAh battery should give it enough power to last a full day of regular usage. Moreover, the handset sports a premium build and runs on Google’s Android 9.0 Pie platform out-of-the-box.

Huawei Mate 20

Huawei’s late 2018 smartphone announcement is a perfect trifecta of cutting-edge technology. The range-topper, of course, is the Mate 20 Pro, followed by the Huawei Mate 20 and the gaming-centric Mate 20 X. Let’s start off with the base model and learn more about what it brings to the table. Visually, there’s really nothing to highlight at this point since a series of leaks were on point with that the handsets look like. However, we can take you on a short tour of what lies inside the frame.

Firstly, let’s refresh everyone with the build quality and design of the Mate 20. Unlike its beefier cousin, the Mate 20 Pro, the handset sports a slightly larger screen at 6.53 inches that uses IPS LCD technology. Furthermore, the edges lie flat compared to the curved structure of on the Pro. Nevertheless, we love that Huawei applied a teardrop notch that does not look too invasive like the regular ones.

The rear panel likewise sports the three-camera setup, albeit with the LED flash located on a different quadrant. The main shooters are equipped with Leica optics to deliver outstanding imaging performance. Don’t expect the smartphone to have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, because Huawei installed its powerful HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset in its place. The Mate 20’s 4000mAh battery supports fast charging technology as well.

Grado Labs GW100 Wireless Headphones

If you haven’t heard of Grado Labs before, just trust us when we say they make pretty excellent audio gear. Its latest, the GW100, is particularly exciting because it’s the company’s first pair of wireless cans to date.

Billed as the “world’s first open-back Bluetooth headphones,” the GW100 boasts the traditional over-ear form factor and is coated in a classic black sheen, complete with splashes of silver to give the headphones a kick design-wise. In effect, you get a crossover between luxurious and utilitarian. The pair is very stylish and sophisticated, but not overtly so that you’re going to be embarrassed wearing them around. They’re also detailed with the label’s new branding on the exterior of the ear cups. That means you can strut your cans around the city block and show Grado Labs’ latest piece of tech to everyone.

The only downside is that you’re not getting the more recent and more capable Bluetooth 5.0 technology. Grado Labs opted for just Bluetooth 4.2 for some reason, but that’s not entirely bad all things considered. You still have a working distance of 30 feet, to be sure. On top of that, you can squeeze as much as 15 hours on a single charge.

The GW100 itself is very light and comfortable to wear thanks to the padded headband. And if you’re not much a fan of wireless listening, there’s also a traditional 3.5mm audio cable included in the box, which is also great if you want to save battery. Or if you just want to play it old-school.

Lexar JumpDrive F35 With Fingerprint Scanner

You can never be too secure with your private data, which is why it’s a bit surprising that it has taken this long for Lexar to release a USB thumb drive with a built-in fingerprint scanner, giving your files an extra layer of protection.

Nearly all smartphones these days, even those in the budget category, have fingerprint protection built-in, and that makes plenty sense because phones store our most precious data. The same can be said of USB sticks, but lose it and you leave all your data vulnerable. Not so with Lexar’s latest JumpDrive F35.

This wee device uses your fingerprint to authenticate access. This ensures your data is protected in the event you lose it, or worse, it gets stolen. The drive supports up to 10 fingerprints. That’s pretty is impressive considering it’s twice the number typical smartphones, even flagship ones, are able to store. And just in case that doesn’t feel secure enough for you, there’s also an option to encrypt the entire drive with 256-bit AES.

Now, with all that technology built in, you might assume this USB drive is far too complicated to use. On the contrary, it’s no different than your everyday storage stick. Just plug it in, lay your fingerprint on the reader, and if it accepts, you’re in. Lexar doesn’t force you to use any sort of software just to facilitate this kind of protection, either. However, you’ll have to use Lexar’s program to set up fingerprints first. After that, you’re good to go.

The Lexar JumpDrive F35 is available now in a bunch of storage sizes, the max being 128GB, although a 256GB option is coming later on. Pricing starts at $33.

Jaybird X4 Wireless Sport Headphones

If you already have a pair of Jaybird X3 wireless sport headphones, chances are you won’t find the Jaybird X4 that much appealing. The only advantage the successor has is that it’s IPX7-certified, which means the model can withstand submersion up to one meter for 30 minutes.

If you’re not a swimmer by any stretch of imagination, you can hold on to your Jaybird X3 and skip the upgrade. However, you should definitely go ahead and purchase the new edition if you plan on going swimming or if your Jaybird X3 is one accidental yank away from breaking completely.

In that regard, the Jaybird X4 is one of the best bangs for your buck, especially if you’re on the market for new wireless headphones to accommodate your workout sessions and morning sprints. For just $130, the Jaybird X4 ticks all of the boxes. It’s waterproof, it doesn’t fall out when you’re running, and, most importantly, it sounds excellent.

We’re talking about wireless headphones here, of course, so you need to charge the device every so often. Not too often, though, as a single charge will give you about eight hours of music playback, which is plenty enough. You can also download the companion app to access a whole slew of features, including customizing the sound experience to fit your preferences. You can even download EQ settings from your favorite artists or musicians and find out how they like to listen to their music.

There’s also an in-line remote control that features three buttons and a microphone so you don’t have to fish out your phone if you need to answer a call, change the volume, or skip to the next track.

The Insta360 One X Is A Throwable Camera

The Insta360 One X, a follow-up to the very well-received Insta360 One, sports a new design and a slew of new features that toy with the idea of how this wee action camera can act like a drone. Or recreate Hollywood-style effects that’s only possible with multiple cameras and a big budget.

The device features dual cameras with an f/2.0 aperture that can shoot 5,760 x 2,880 video footage at 30 frames per second. It’s possible to shoot at higher frame rates, but the resolution obviously goes down the higher you go up. You can shoot stills at an 18-megapixel resolution, which translates to 6,080 x 3,040 photos.

The One X, just like its predecessor, was developed as an action camera first and foremost, so it’s pretty much the best camera companion for nearly all heavy-duty shenanigans. As such, it’s no surprise that it boasts a stabilization feature called FlowState, which Insta360 claims is able to smooth out footage taken without a gimbal, even if the camera is attached to something that moves a lot.

And because of its stability, you’ll be able to capture smooth videos even if you throw the camera. Yup, you read that right. The One X can literally be thrown to create smooth fly-by effects, like the ones you see in Hollywood. You’re not going to be the next Michael Bay with this camera, obviously, but it’s a nice bonus.

There’s also a feature called TimeShift. This lets you slow down or speed up a video after it’s been recorded using the Insta360 app.

All this for just $400. Available now on Insta360’s online store and Amazon.

JLab Flex Sport Wireless Headphones

Wireless headphones are all the rage these days, and though it’s hard to admit, the increasing disappearance of the headphone jack from flagship phones has greatly contributed to uptick in sales, like it or not.

Suppose the headphone jack comes to a full demise at some point in the not-too-distant future, you have no choice but to give in to the promise of wireless audio. If you’re athletic and care about sound quality, you’ll love JLab’s new sports-focused headphones, the Flex Sport.

They’re designed to be worn during all types of workouts and other rigorous physical activity. That means you don’t ever have to worry of sweat ruining these pair of cans. More than that, the pair also offers excellent battery life. They output 20 hours of music playback on a single a charge, mind you. That’s a rarity even on higher-end wireless options like this. They also feature removable ear pads which you can throw in the washing machine once they get too dirty.

You’ll also be privy to a feature called Be Aware. This functionality lets in ambient noise so you can still hear what’s going on around you from time to time even as you enjoy your favorite tunes.

The whole package comes with two adjustable tension bands. JLab says they’re pretty flexible and made of a highly durable material that won’t snap even under intense pressure. But perhaps the best part of these wireless headphones is that they won’t break your bank. The JLab Flex Sport is on sale now for $100.

Garmin Instinct Smartwatch

Garmin comes out with a smartwatch focused on the outdoors, aptly called Instinct. Designed with endurance and robustness from the ground up, this smartwatch will accompany you in your activities as simple as running or as heavy-duty as mountain biking.

The Garmin Instinct comes with all the technology you’ll ever need not to get lost. Among them are a three-axis compass, a barometric altimeter, and multiple global navigation satellite systems. You get the major ones: GPS, GLONASS and Galileo. Support for those systems allows the watch to track a user’s location even more accurately, regardless if they’re in super remote areas.

Instinct is also packing Garmin’s TracBack feature. This works by leaving “digital breadcrumbs” while on your sojourn. It’ll help you navigate back to your starting point in the event you don’t know which way to go. This is an incredible feature to have built-in, needless to say. Also, it’s one reason why we think Garmin will succeed in this landscape. The watch really brings something functional to the smartwatch mold, and doesn’t just dwell on garish style.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper smartwatch without the usual suspects. Things like a heart rate sensor, different monitors, and other health markers like daily activity, calories burned, sleep, and stress, are all there. You’ll also have access to a variety of sports apps.

In case it’s still not obvious, the Garmin Instinct is mighty strong. Garmin says Instinct was built to military standards for thermal, shock, and water resistance. It even comes with a fiber reinforced polymer case, a silicon band, and a display the company claims is “chemically strengthened” as well as scratch resistant.

The Levitating Smart Home Hub

Throw in the towel, other makers of smart home hubs. Startup 1-Ring Inc. just closed the competition with its Moon, a compact smart hub with a levitating camera that literally just obliterated all smart home hub designs of the past and possibly even the future.

Just look at that floating Death Star — we mean, er, camera. It could literally be a prop in the next Star Wars movie. Make no mistake, though. This is no novelty item. In fact, it’s a highly functional fully integrated home automation center. This is a device that can communicate with nearly every smart home automation standard. We’re talking Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Z-Wave, and Bluetooth Smart.

The list of services Moon smart hub can be integrated with is insane. You can pair up devices via Philips Hue, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple Homekit, and other services in the Internet of Things as well as legacy devices like TVs or stereo systems.

Moon smart hub doesn’t just interact with devices connected to the same network, by the way. It also boasts its own set of sensors, including, most obviously, a camera, a sound detector, a temperature gauge, a humidity sensor, and an ambient light detector. It’s basically got everything covered. To top it all off, you also get access to a whole slew of controls and options via the Moon Commander app.

Bear in mind that this is a crowdfunded project. The campaign was successfully completed in December last year, and if you want to learn more about Moon smart hub, you can visit its Indiegogo page.

The Soundcast VG5 Is A Weather-Proof Bluetooth Speaker

Wireless speakers are almost a dime a dozen these days, but the Soundcast VG5 is a weatherproof one. That means you can take it to pool parties, beach trips, or out in the rain if you’re feeling a bit melodramatic. And you don’t have to worry about it breaking.

That alone is impressive in itself, but the Soundcast VG5 boasts a pretty excellent sound quality and and stunning performance, easily making it a fantastic choice if you’re on the market for a robust Bluetooth speaker to give your future dance parties enormous sizzle.

The design resembles that of an Amazon Echo, which is to say it’s a tower-style speaker that has a capacitive touch panel up top. There, you’ll find controls for turning the device on or off, toggling Bluetooth on or off, changing the volume, muting sound, and more. That’s coupled with a gauge-style LED array that displays the battery capacity.

The exterior, again, is weather-resistant, so you don’t have to worry about bringing this thing outdoors even if light rain starts. In terms of the design itself, we have to admit this isn’t the best-looking Bluetooth speaker we’ve come across, but that’s a small demerit for an otherwise excellent device.

As for the sound component, you’ll find cinched within a long-throw, down-firing 6-inch woofer as well as two 3-inch full range drivers. This combination allows the speaker to produce a low-booming sound, delivering excellent clarity that can fill any room. The device supports Bluetooth 4.2, Qualcomm TrueWireless Stereo Circuitry, and codecs like hi-def AAC and apt-X. You can get it now for $450 a pop.

SpyFinder Pro Hidden Camera Detector

You can never be too careful about hidden cameras. Especially in hotels, Airbnb rentals, communal bathrooms, or other private spaces accessible to the general public. If you’re worried that hidden Wi-Fi cameras are secretly recording your every move in spaces that are supposed to be private, the SpyFinder Pro is what you need.

This wee device is currently seeking some funding over at Kickstarter. The pitch is it can detect all kinds of hidden cameras no matter how surreptitiously they’re hidden. These days, you’ll find cameras hidden in teddy bears, doorbells, alarm clocks, and even chargers. Of course, this isn’t a problem in your own home. We understand that you just want to make sure visitors aren’t doing anything goofy while inside your humble abode. This is, however, a problem when you’re in other places. What if some creep puts a hidden camera in your hotel room?

With the SpyFinder Pro, you get a compact hidden camera detector that locates all hidden cameras. Yes, even those invisible to the naked eye. It’s very simple to use. Just pop in batteries, turn it on, and a series of strobe lights will begin blinking. While the lights are going off, you’ll look through the hole in the SpyFinder Pro periscope-style to check areas where you suspect cameras are hidden. The lights will reflect off the lens when there’s a hidden camera, and you will see it as a bright dot.

It’s important to note that the SpyFinder Pro won’t quash all your fears of non-consensual surveillance. After all, it won’t be able to detect if you’re being recorded or GPS-tracked. But if you at least want to make sure no one violates your privacy while in your personal space, then you should definitely consider backing the campaign.

EK-MLC Phoenix Modular Liquid Cooling Products

With the EK-MLC Phoenix Modular Liquid Cooling Products, you can customize and build your own liquid cooling system, which is all the rage these days. We won’t get into the nitty-gritty of how exactly that system works, but all you need to know is that it’s an extremely complex technology that makes your computer handle temperature and distribute heat more efficiently.

The EK-MLC Phoenix kit features a modular design and is comprised of pre-filled liquid cooling products designed to satisfy all your liquid cooling needs. If need be, you can even add multiple pre-filled blocks in whatever order you prefer,. That should provide you with very flexible customization options.

The modular design also supports Quick Disconnect Couplings. This helps you connect and expand the loop, for starters. But this also lets you choose exactly which components should be part of the whole liquid cooling system.

You can also integrate the GPU cooling module and CPU cooling module in any order you like. You can arrange them, either individually or together, next to the radiator core module, which is mandatory.

Installing the pre-filled products are fairly easy, too. Anyway, you must know something about computers already if you’re at this point. Especially when you’re tinkering with liquid cooling systems. As such, installation shouldn’t be a sweat. Plus, the components are maintenance-free, so you won’t have any potential headaches down the line.

Each EK-MLC Phoenix Modular Liquid Cooling Products kit contains three core modular units, CPU cooling module, radiator core module, and a GPU cooling module. You can get it from the EK webshop for $70.
