a.d. Tramontana is at it again, working on yet another supercar. Spain’s insane supercar manufacturer who built the Tramontana R, the 700+ horsepower, carbon fiber, twin-turbocharged V-12.

The company has announced that it is working on a new model with 888 horsepower dubbed the Tramontana XTR, seen here in the official drawings. The XTR builds on the chassis of the previous supercars but a number of improvements have been made.

Like the Tramontana R, the XTR is powered by the twin-turbocharged V-12 engine sourced from Mercedes-Benz. The supercar will host a new racing-spec transmission plus a slew of additional aerodynamic aids to ensure it takes full advantage of its extra power.

The Tramontana R, with its 700 horsepower, could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 214 mph. Although we don’t yet know what the exact specs for the XTR will be, it’s suspected to perform even better.

The Tramontana XTR will have a price of 420,000 euros ($514,000 US) and delivery will begin before the year is out. Currently, a.d. Tramontana is only able to build about 12 cars per year because of limited facility space, although the company is planning to expand operations and is looking for more dealers.
