Northern California Topper Jewelers has released several limited watches in collaboration with well-known watch brands over the past few years, including most recently two beautiful Zodiac Super Sea Wolf models. Continuing with the dive watch theme, Topper’s latest collab is with none other than Seiko for a special limited-edition Prospex model.

The Prospex line (“Professional Specifications) is Seiko’s professional diver collection, and the models contained therein boast high water resistance, serious anti-magnetic and shock-resistant characteristics, and great legibility underwater. The Topper Edition Prospex is built upon the SPB077 model introduced in 2018, which included a sapphire crystal, LumiBrite lume on the hands and markers, a 44mm case, and 6R15 movement.

The Topper Edition, dubbed the SPB107 adds a “super hard black-coated” stainless steel case and a black Seiko silicone dive strap. So if you like the look of the SBP077 but wanted it in a stealthy jet black case, well, here ya go! The watch, which will ship in July 2019 and is limited to 500 pieces, retails for $1,000, and you’ll have to put $500 down for the pre-order.
