Porsche is back in the virtual driving world, but it isn’t resting on its laurels for its digital return. Soon, you’ll see your favorite Porsches in both Polyphony Digital’s “Gran Turismo ” and Turn 10’s “Forza” series. The automaker, with help from Microsoft and the organizers for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, will be hosting a virtual race in concert with the famous French endurance race. The event will be called the Forza Racing Championship Season 3: The Porsche Cup.

Players will compete June 17-18 while the 24-hour race is happening, and the winner will be crowned alongside Sunday’s race winners.

Qualifying is happening as we speak — all you need is a copy of “Forza Motorsports 6” and an Xbox One to get involved. Click here for the link. Qualifying is open until May 28. Everything will be broadcast on YouTube, Beam and Twitch. The latter two are streaming websites where you can watch other people play video games, for those of you who aren’t, ahem, seasoned veterans of eSports leagues
