Taking direct aim at Ford’s Bronco Sasquatch package, Jeep’s 2022 Wrangler Xtreme Recon is a juiced-up Rubicon sitting on 35-inch BFG AT tires. It’s got a factory lift, better angles of approach, departure, and breakover than the Sasquatch as well as 12.9” of ground clearance which is also higher. A new axle, available later this year pairs with the 6-speed manual transmission to make the Recon the industry’s first 100:1 crawl ratio from the factory.
