Lamborghini and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have been working on a super-secret “sports car of the future” and will reveal the new piece Monday, according to social media accounts. The reveal lines up with MIT’s in-house tech conference named EmTech, which also starts Nov. 6.

Autocar guesses this could be the first automotive product using a solid-state battery, as well as super-lightweight materials. A hybrid Huracan is the general consensus. The British mag/website also notes that former boss Stephan Winkelmann said that Lamborghini doesn’t “show cars just for a museum,” which means that, like the Sesto Elemento, this could be sold in small numbers if there is interest.

Guys, we’re interested. Not that we’ll be able to afford one, but we’re definitely interested. Check back Monday for more info.
