G-Shock is in the midst of a 35-year anniversary, and of course, this means a litany of limited edition pieces are in order, the latest of which is a collaboration with New Era, which takes inspiration from the 59Fifty hat and puts it on the dial of the DW5600. The venerable digital model has been a longtime stalwart in the G-Shock lineup, and today it remains one of the toughest watches you can get for the money — when we tested it earlier this summer, it took on a hell of a lot of abuse until it finally stopped functioning.

Naturally, this is a hard formula to improve on, so most of the specs and functions remain in place on the limited edition – chiefly, water resistance to 200 meters, a shock-resistant build, a digital display featuring a stopwatch and an alarm function. The only real change is the addition of gold-colored accents on the face and buckle. The watch will be available in September, and will retail for $150.
