Electronic music artist Deadmau5 is a car fanatic like us. A quick tour of his Twitter feed shows him on the track with a BAC Mono, commenting on McLaren P1s and trying to sell his Purrari 458 Italia. Yes, we said Purrari.

Deadmau5, real name Joel Zimmerman, vinyl wrapped his Ferrari 458 in powder blue with Nyan Cat graphics. Ferrari was not amused and sent him a cease-and-desist order, mainly for using the replacing the Prancing Horse logo with his own Prancing Cat.

Zimmerman complied, removing the graphics and logos, and is currently trying to sell the car.

Nissan picked up on the action Wednesday, offering Deadmau5 its own Photoshopped Nyan Cat Nissan GT-R, which we see above.

Zimmerman was understandably amused, tweeting “OMFGtr sounds like a blast.”

He did end up buying a McLaren, which he calls the Meowclaren, but as of this writing it’s still in its native color. Whiskers would look perfect, we mean purrfect, on that thing.
