America Is Finally Getting the Manual Sports Car That Enthusiasts Have Been Craving

A manual transmission will look so much more at home in this interior.
Nissan

At the end of Q2, Nissan had sold some 3,789 Zs compared to Toyota’s 1,231 Supras. While there’s no denying that the latter is at the end of its life cycle, it’s nevertheless an impressive delta.

Moreover, considering the ceiling of the GR Supra’s expense, the addition of a manual option to the Nismo should only help Nissan sway more potential Toyota buyers.

Nissan is keen to right the ship, so a manual Z Nismo should help build rapport among enthusiasts.

Possibilities and timeline

At this stage, Nissan has made no comment as to the timeline for a manual Z Nismo. However, as Carbuzz observed, the lack of an option on 2026 order forms suggests that it will be 2027 before the model gets a six-speed.

In the meantime, if you’d like to learn more about the Z line, you can head to Nissan’s website. The base Sport model currently starts at $42,970, while the Performance and Nismo start at $52,970 and $65,750, respectively.

Mercedes-Benz G-Class Cabriolet

Mercedes-Benz has announced the revival of the G-Class Cabriolet. The last time the Three-Pointed Star built a droptop G, it took the form of the ultra-luxurious Maybach G650, and it featured a retractable Landaulet-style roof. Though Mercedes-Benz hasn’t confirmed a timeline, the G-Class is due for an update soon — it may arrive as early as 2026.

Furlan Marri

Furlan Marri Disco Volante Onyx Diamonds

Roughly one year after Swiss-based microbrand Furlan Marri rescued the retro “Disco Volante” (Italian for “Flying Saucer”) watch style from the dustbin of history, the brand has launched what is essentially a black-tie version of the model. The Disco Onyx Diamonds features a dial made of black onyx stone and adorned with baguette-cut lab-grown diamond indices — 0.12 carats’ worth. The round stainless steel case, with its unique integrated crown, measures 38mm across and is just 8.1mm thick thanks to the hand-wound Peseux Cal. 7001 manual-wind movement inside, which has received extensive custom hand-finishing by the brand. The watch includes both soft steel mesh and black leather straps and retails for CHF 3,500, which at launch equates to around $4,384. It’s limited to 100 pieces.

A bottle of Valdespino Vermouth Origen with a red label is floating above two rocks. Surrounding it are two upside-down martini glasses, one with a lemon wedge and a cinnamon stick, and a glass with ice cubes and dark liquid. There are also a few cloves floating near the bottle, all set against a red background.Valdespino

Valdespino x The Macallan Origen Vermouth

According to Jonah Flicker at Robb Report, The Macallan is venturing beyond whisky with the launch of Origen, a premium vermouth created in partnership with the historic sherry house Valdespino. Debuting this October, Origen blends fortified wine tradition with The Macallan’s expertise in oak maturation, delivering a layered profile that nods to both heritage and innovation. Designed to elevate the apéritif experience, it reflects the distillery’s expanding ambitions outside single malt, while maintaining its commitment to craftsmanship and character. This bold move signals a fresh chapter in The Macallan’s pursuit of flavor.

J.Crew 1983 Barn Jacket In Indigo-Dyed Canvas

We’ve seen many iterations of J.Crew’s heralded Barn Jacket, but this indigo-dyed canvas version is arguably the best. It is made from the standard 100% cotton canvas but dyed in natural indigo for a warm blue. Like a good pair of jeans, it will fade and patina with age. The collar is lined with brown corduroy, and the body is fully lined with a green, white and blue cotton tartan fabric. It is equipped with the definitive overlapping double-patch pockets and adjustable cuff tabs.

Arcam

Arcam A5+, A15+, A25+ Integrated Amplifiers

Arcam has introduced new-and-improved versions of its A5, A15 and A25 stereo integrated amplifiers, which were just released in 2023. The “Plus” versions feature updated circuitry and better power management, resulting in superior performance. Each model still supports Bluetooth, allowing you to stream music to your system, but they now support aptX Lossless, LE Audio and Auracast. And the two larger amplifiers, the A15+ and A25+, how feature HDMI eARC, so you can integrated them into home theater setup.

MoonSwatch Mission to Earthphase “Moonshine Gold”

At first glance, the latest MoonSwatch looks identical to the one released in early August. And for the most part it is, right down to the navy blue Bioceramic case, white opaline dial and our ol’ pal Snoopy, donning a space helmet. But for this one-off variant, Swatch added a popcorn motif to one of the moonphase discs — a nod to September’s full moon, also known as the Harvest or Corn Moon. The watch will only be available the day after the full moon — September 8, 2025 — at select Swatch stores.

This Ultra-Capable Iteration of an Iconic Dive Watch Just Got More Wearable

The Sea Emerald and Searambler stand out with radial brushed textures, while the rest have flat glossy dials. Each watch is available on a rubber dive strap that matches the dial color, except for the steel Searambler, which uses black.

Another notable difference in color is that the Sharkhunter, Searambler, and Caribbean models use an orange minute hand, while the rest of the collection has uniform black hands. However, they all have the same Super-LumiNova and the printed hour markers on all three hands.

Doxa stuck with Sellita for the new SUB 750T’s movement, but this time, it is the caliber SW300 rather than the caliber SW200. The only performance difference is an increased power reserve of 56 hours.

The Sharkhunter, Searambler and Caribbean models use an orange minute hand.
Doxa

This new regular production SUB 750T adds another layer of depth to the fan-favorite SUB series, offering a larger and more capable option. It has the same look and color options as its recently updated smaller family members.

It would have been nice to see a little something unique added to this ultra-capable SUB, but I suppose that’s what the limited edition Clive Cussler reference is for.

Two Chronograph Icons May Have Just Changed the Watch Industry Forever

An iconic pair

To show off its new carbon hairspring technology, TAG Heuer has tapped the most extravagant versions of its two greatest icons — the Monaco Flyback Chronograph and Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport — and given them both carbon-drenched makeovers.

Both watches feature cases, pushers and crowns made of forged carbon, with the Carrera also receiving a tachymeter bezel in the lightweight composite material. Both dials are also made of carbon fiber featuring a snailed pattern inspired by the coil of their hairsprings.

The TH-Carbonspring will debut in an all-carbon version of the Monaco Flyback Chronograph.
TAG Heuer

The two watches both follow the same monochromatic template, with black subdials, applied black carbon indices, black gold hands and white lacquered chronograph seconds hands. Both also feature sapphire crystals front and back, along with Super-LumiNova lume on their hands (and indices, in the case of the Carrera).

Both watches come on black rubber straps with black DLC titanium folding clasps. The Monaco’s strap has a woven textile-like finish, while the Carrera’s strap has a more traditional rubber look and features a carbon fiber end link. The Monaco measures 39mm across and 14.1mm thick, while the Carrera is 44mm across and 15.4mm tall. Both watches are water resistant to 100m.

A Tool Watch This Wonderfully Overbuilt Shouldn’t Look Nearly This Good

The single-piece case is made of a carbon fiber composite developed specifically for Oris by 9T Labs, a Zurich-based engineering firm specializing in advanced aeronautical and automotive materials.

Carbon fiber is also used on the dial, while the case back and crowns are PVD-coated titanium, creating a uniform deep space black background for the neon dial details.

My god, it’s full of lume

In a press release, Bamford explains, “We’re taking [the ProPilot Altimeter] on a space odyssey with Lieutenant Audley, Kubrick-style,” referring to the 1969 film. For a more contemporary audience, the watch looks like a prop from the FX series Alien: Earth.

The ProPilot Altimeter ‘Mission Control’ uses yellow, green and red lume to emulate a glowing instrument panel.

Green and yellow are still the key reference colors for the altimeter, located around the dial’s outer rim. The red indicators calibrate the instrument before use, and the outermost neon yellow scale tracks altitude up to 19,700 feet.

Singer Reimagined Caballero

Singer Reimagined, the luxury watch offshoot of famed Porsche modifier Singer Vehicle Design, is known for its advanced chronograph watches. This makes sense, given the complication’s long, entangled history with motorsports. Now, the brand has launched its first time-only watch — but it’s anything but simple. Described as a “Solotempo” watch, the Cabellero features a plain lacquered dial and three three-hand layout, with an applied Singer logo at 12:00 appearing as the only text. Four exposed jewels on the dial hint at something more intriguing, which is fully exposed in the stunning Cal. ST5000 when you turn the watch over. Driven by a whopping four main barrels, the movement is fine-tuned to deliver consistent chronometric power across six full days. Singer calls it horological horsepower; I just call it beautiful engineering.

Sony’s IER-EX15C are in-ear wired headphones with a USB-C connection, making them ideal for use with today’s smartphones and laptops. They feature compact 5mm drivers and an in-line remote for controlling volume and playback. Additionally, its textured cable serrated finish is designed to prevent tangling. At just $30, you can think of it as a hassle-free alternative to your AirPods or wireless headphones. Available in four colors: black, white, blue and pink.

BioLite Range 400

BioLite has been one of the top names in the game for headlamps for years, now — largely because the brand continues to improve upon its product lineup. The latest iterations are finally here, and they’re better than their predecessors in nearly every way. Now, they charge up to 5x faster than the competition (eight minutes for a full hour), the user interface is streamlined and even easier to operate than before and they’re built to IP67 waterproof standards. Of course, they still have a bevy of other outstanding features, like a comfortable adjustable fit, light weight, numerous lighting modes and more.

To celebrate the grand opening of its second Miami location, Rivian has created a one-off, custom-designed R1S Tri-Motor. Along with vibrant teal and pink accents, the EV features a set of special disc wheel covers and some bold side stripes. It’ll be on display at the Brickell showroom, and Rivian has stated that the initiative hints at how it will continue to push design going forward.

Seiko’s Best Affordable Dress Watch Is Even Classier With a Brand-First Strap Design

It’s a brilliant move because the soft, supple leather used for dress shoes is virtually identical to that used for watch straps. The panel sizes required to make two-piece straps also align with the scraps created by shoemakers.

The lining of the leather straps is also sourced from Regal.
Seiko

Regal also provides Seiko with the lining material used for the soft underside of the straps. It is the same fine-grain leather used to line Regal dress shoes.

Unfortunately, Regal no longer carries the matching oxblood penny loafers that inspired the strap.

Shiracha silk

Seiko’s Presage Classic Series features dials inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship of the Edo period, which lasted from 1603 to 1868. Much like the Renaissance in Europe, it was a golden age of artistic innovation.

Shiracha is a light brown shade prized during the Bunsei era of the Edo period. It was used in artwork and decorative design for its soothing atmosphere.

One of the World’s Hottest Affordable Watches Is Now Literally Twice As Nice

These include malachite with a green sunray dial, lapis with blue, tiger eye with gold and aventurine with black. Everything else remains the same on the monochrome versions as on the twin-stone dials, including your choice of a plain or gold finish, and all watches are sold on an Epsom calfskin leather strap. The $890 price tag remains the same, too.

The polished steel case of every version of the ALD Dual Time is available in either a plain steel or gold PVD finish.
Dennison

In total, there are six different dials and 12 total references for the ALD Dual Time collection, making it pretty easy for anyone to find the right one for them. And at less than a thousand bucks each, who wouldn’t want to get one — or, perhaps more fittingly, two?

These watches look phenomenal, the craftsmanship involved with the stone dials is impressive, they’re wearable for practically anyone and they’re from one of the buzziest brands in the business. It’s safe to say Dennison has another hit on its hands. No wonder fellow hitmaker Ms. Keys is a fan.

Adidas Just Dropped What Could Be Its Most Disruptive Trainer of the Year. It’s Not a Super Shoe

The vast majority of running shoes are designed for outdoor usage. That means they need to handle heavy impacts on hard, often uneven terrain and have to be resistant to outdoor weather.

Treadmills, by contrast, offer a softer landing and more consistent terrain, nullifying the benefit of extra cushioning, and they are indoors, requiring no weatherproofing. The Treadflow takes this into account, offering a lighterweight, more breathable option that’s more treadmill-friendly than any shoe to come before it.

Light blue athletic shoes with a mesh upper and matching laces, worn with light blue socks, shown mid-air against a neutral background.
Because these are designed for the indoors and don’t need weatherproofing, Adidas has maximized their breathability.

Running up that (artificial) hill

So, what does that mean in practice? Let’s start with the outsole. Called “Lighttraxion,” the outsole is specifically formulated to interact with treadmill belts, offering less traction than road-going shoes and, in exchange, cutting down significantly on weight (hence the skeletonized cutouts).

But that’s not all. The midsole has also been adjusted. It features dual-cushioning Lightstrike and Lightstrike Pro foam tech pulled from the brand’s record-breaking Adizero line. It’s formulated to interact with treadmill surfaces to offer the ideal energy return and fast, engaging transition.

Hoka’s New Streamlined Hiking Boot Is Still Tough Enough for Serious Trails

This isn’t your classic commuter. The lifestyle-focused Transport series gets its most rugged silhouette to date.

Roads. Sidewalks. Especially trails. These days, Hoka’s expansive catalog has not one but hoards of shoes for every type of surface.

Its latest can take on all three.

The Transport Hike GTX is the latest silhouette to join the brand’s commuter-focused Transport series, first launched in 2023.

Since then, the lineup has grown to include several different variants, including the streetwear-adjacent Project Transport.

However, the newest addition is easily the most rugged and capable to date.

Brown and tan Hoka trail running shoe with blue laces, a thick beige sole featuring Vibram technology, and Gore-Tex branding on the side.
The Transport series now includes a handful of variants, however, the Transport Chukkha GTX (pictured) is easily the most rugged to date.

Rain or shine

Similar to the existing Transport Chukkha GTX, the Transport Hike GTX features an EVA midsole under an an ankle-high upper that’s lined with Gore-Tex for rain and snow cover.

Unlike other Transport models, the Transport Chukkha GTX features a reinforced toebox for impact protection.

But it ups the ante with a durable toe cap for impact protection, while the addition of Hoka’s Active Foot Frame (borrowed from its performance running shoes) cradles the heel for stability on uneven terrain.

Overall prowess on the trail is only furthered by the Vibram Megagrip outsole that replaces Ecostep Evo, as seen on all other variants of the Transport thus far.

That imbues the boot with extra traction, supported by the use of 4mm lugs, as well as durability — a characteristic underscored by its final oriented flourish: metal speed hooks for an easy on and off.

Availability and pricing

The Transport Hike GTX will be available for purchase on Hoka’s official website starting October 1.

It costs $190 and comes in a handful of launch colorways, each one equipped with reflective accents for visibility after dark in urban conditions.

Böker Kicks off Spooky Season Early with an EDC Knife That Would Do Dr. Frankenstein Proud

It’s also worth noting that the handle is the part from which this knife derives its name. Obviously, the “Ultem” in the title is a reference to the material, but the other bit, “Coffin,” is a call-out to its distinct shape.

As this knife has no locking mechanism — its a slipjoint, like Swiss Army Knives — it allows the handle to stay uniform and minimalist. Its only blemishes are the hardware and its reversible deep-carry pocket clip.

Folding pocket knife with a textured amber-colored handle and a silver metal clip attached on one side. The blade is partially visible, folded into the handle. The handle has a geometric, diamond-like pattern.
The knife’s deep-carry, tip-up pocket clip is reversible.
Böker

Hack-o-lantern

That old-meets-new angling of the handle extends to the pointy end, as well. You might call this knife a Frankenstein’s monster-like hybrid, blending the best of the old-school and new tech.

For instance, the blade boasts a lot of traditional elements. It has a manual nail nick deployment, which is common on some of the most classic pocket knives (again, like SAKs). It also has a classic drop-point shape.

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon Enamel

Did the “Watchmaker’s Watchmaker” make the ultimate dress watch? This addition to JLC’s Master Ultra Thin line certainly makes a strong case. First, we have the Calibre 978 movement, which features a delicate tourbillon weighing less than 5 grams and comprising 77 parts, including a titanium cage and a pink gold bridge. Then there’s the 40mm case, which is elegantly sculpted from 18k pink gold. Most impressive of all is the dial, as it combines two artisinal watchmaking traditions: hand guilloché and grand feu enamel. The guilloché pattern consists of 180 ‘sun rays,’ all applied using a hand-operated rose engine lathe, which is followed up with a treatment of five layers of anthracite enamel by a master enameler. Even the date subdial receives its own separate hand-guilloché pattern. The watch is limited to 77 pieces, and the price is available upon request.

Mackintosh Kinton Rubberised Hooded 3/4 Length Coat

In 1824, Mackintosh was established by a Scottish chemist who developed the original form of rubberised cotton that is still used today. Still produced entirely in Scotland, the outerwear brand makes the best raincoats on the planet. Look no further than the Kinton for proof. The rubberised bonded cotton parka has taped seams and a storm hood, making it impervious to moisture. The 3/4 length body sits around the knees for most men. The only issue with Mackintosh is that maintaining two centuries of top-tier hand-made craftsmanship in the UK comes at a steep price.

JBL Boombox 4

JBL’s Boombox is the largest portable rugged Bluetooth speaker that the company makes — note, this is not counting its line of Party speakers, which are massive. The Boombox 4 is an upgraded version of the Boombox 3, which was released in 2022. It features the same boombox-style design, but is two pounds lighter and promises 50 percent more power. Additionally, JBL enhanced it with new audio technologies, such as AI Sound Boost and Auracast (for multi-room functionality). It also supports lossless audio playback via a wired USB-C connection. Available in four finishes: black, blue, white and camo.

Garmin Fenix smartwatch with a round black bezel and strap, displaying the time 10:10, date Saturday August 1, step count of 15k, heart rate of 88, and a battery icon at the top. The watch face has a dark background with orange contour lines and white digital numbers and icons.Garmin

Garmin Fenix 8 Pro MicroLED

The Fenix 8 Pro might be the most capable smartwatch across Garmin’s entire roster, boasting cellular and satellite connectivity to compete with the likes of the Apple Watch Ultra. However, its halo feature is an industry-first MicroLED display that provides up to 4,500 nits of light for supreme visibility no matter how sunny it is outside. That said, the new feature does come with a pair of caveats, including a somewhat modest 10-day battery life (down from 27 days on the OLED version) and an eye-watering price tag. The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro with MicroLED costs $2,000 and only comes in one size, 51mm.

Timex’s Latest Affordable Field Watch Is a Set-It-and-Forget-It Military-Tough Adventure Sidekick

The watch’s styling is spot on, boasting a simple, minimalist stainless steel case that aligns with traditional field watches (Timex’s included). The dial is also relatively minimalist in its styling, opting for simple hour and minute markings alongside big, bold numerals.

Unlike some Expedition watches, this watch has a secondary 24-hour time scale, meaning you can read it in standard 12-hour time or military time, whichever is your preference. It also has a date window for a little additional functionality.

Like its historical counterparts, this watch comes with a classic, easy-wearing fabric strap.

What sets this watch apart is its power source. Unlike its pricier siblings, this is not an automatic. It’s also not a straightforward quartz like its ultra-budget relatives.

Instead, it’s right in the middle. This watch has a reliable and affordable quartz movement that offers convenience comparable to that of automatics. This is because it’s solar-powered.

This Top Affordable Mechanical Chronograph Has Never Looked Better

The case is one millimeter wider than the original 6BB because it runs on a slightly larger movement, Hamilton’s caliber H-51-Si. This new-ish movement debuted in 2021 with the hand-wound Intra-Matic.

Based on the ETA caliber 7753, it beats at 28,800vph, has a 60-hour power reserve and a silicone balance spring.

Hamilton wristwatch with a stainless steel case, blue dial, and white numerals and markers. It features two subdials, white hour and minute hands, and a brown leather strap with visible stitching. The watch has two push buttons and a crown on the right side.
The Kahki Pilot Pioneer Mechanical Chrono is available on a brown leather pin buckle strap or steel mesh bracelet with a folding clasp.
Hamilton

The Khaki Pilot Pioneer Mechanical Chrono has an intriguing military history and finally has an eye-catching dial suitable for daily wear on the ground. Aside from the clunky name, this is one of the most underrated watches in Hamilton’s impressive catalog.

Availability and price

While it doesn’t make much sense on a retro-inspired military pilot’s watch, the new steel mesh bracelet option, borrowed from the Intra-Matic, maximizes the blue dial’s visual appeal.

The Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer Mechanical Chrono is available now from Hamilton. It costs $2,195 on a brown leather strap and $2,245 on a steel mesh bracelet.

This Futuristic Sports Watch Is the Most Fun You’ll Ever Have Using a Chronograph

Rather than using traditional numbers, Czapek opted to double down on futurism with its own X-based language inspired by the “Yautja: alphabet from the Predator movies. (The letter “X” was chosen as a base for the language in honor of Czapek CEO, Xavier de Roquemaurel). Now, if you’ll allow me to press my glasses up on the bridge of my nose for a moment, I have to point out that the Predator is an alien, not a robot, but the language looks cool here, nevertheless.

Instead of typical markings on the minute track and chronograph registers, Czapek invented its own futuristic language inspired by the alphabet from the Predator franchise.
Czapek

While the movement and robot-adorned dial are the clear stars here, it’s still worth mentioning that both are housed in the excellent case and bracelet of the Antarctique — the flagship integrated sports watch that put modern Czapek on the map. In this iteration, the case and bracelet are made of stainless steel, with the former measuring 42.5mm across and the latter featuring both a micro-adjustment clasp and a quick-release system.

Pricing and availability

Unsurprisingly, Czapek is not making very many examples of the Antarctique Rattrapante R.U.R. — this movement and those little robot heads are a lot of work to produce. The brand is limiting production to just 77 examples, with all watches ready to ship and orders opening on September 5.

The watch is priced at 58,000 CHF, which, as of this writing, roughly converts to $77,000 in American greenbacks. I kind of can’t believe I’m saying this, but that price is not bad (I know, I know). For the level of craftsmanship on display here with the movement and the intricate robot head mechanism — which I know required a ton of R&D to pull off — I honestly expected the R.U.R. to be a lot more expensive. Hell, when you consider your fun-per-dollar rate, it’s practically a steal.

This Affordable Military Watch Is Based on a Legendary Vintage Seiko

Powering the watch is a Japan-made Seiko Cal. NH36 automatic movement, an upgrade over the very basic Seiko Cal. 6119 automatic that powered the original. The 1960s movement had 17 jewels, beat at 18,000 bph and didn’t hack, while the modern NH36 boasts 24 jewels, a higher 21,600 bph beat rate and, most importantly, a hacking function.

The movement has also received a custom day-date wheel, replacing the Japanese/English version of the original. The days are now exclusively in English, while the dates can be switched between Arabic and Roman numerals. The Roman numerals run in cycles of seven and are intended to track reconnaissance missions, which could last up to a week.

The CISO M38 features a closed caseback with the inscription “‘You haven’t lived until you’ve almost died…’ — MAC V SOG ’64-’72,” which references the beginning of the SOG motto and is done in the style of Vietnam-era Zippo lighter engravings.

The caseback engraving is done in the style of Zippo lighters from the Vietnam War.
Tornek-Rayville

Pricing and availability

Tornek-Rayville didn’t just work with MACV-SOG veterans in producing the CISO M38. The brand has also partnered with the Special Operations Association (SOA), a nonprofit organization founded in the 1970s to support SOG veterans after the war. Its work continues today, and a portion of each CISO M38 sold — at least $105 per watch — will be donated to SOA.

The watch is available in two versions, one with a mostly sterile dial that simply says “SOA” at 12:00 and “24 Jewels” at 6:00, and another that adds the MACV-SOG’s infamous skull patch insignia at 9:00.

This Overbuilt Tactical Folder Is the Weirdest, Most Wonderful Knife You’ve Never Heard Of

Overbuilt beauty

While all of the brand’s offerings are noteworthy, the DMF is definitely a big highlight. Right now, it’s available in three different color combos, although all three boast the same material configuration.

That includes a 3.65-inch S35VN blade (in either satin or black) with a stout reverse tanto shape, as well as ambidextrous thumb stud and right-handed fuller deployment.

It’s a beefy, formidable folder that fans of tactical designs are sure to love. However, it also offers plenty of refinement.

That beefy blade is mated to a dual-material handle. On the presentation side, the knife boasts a G10 scale. The other is solid titanium, including the integrated frame lock and the thick pocket clip.

Overall, the knife measures 8.38 inches and weighs 9.56 ounces. It’s a beefy, formidable folder that fans of tactical designs are sure to love. However, it also offers plenty of refinement, especially with some of its limited edition releases.

Keep your ear to the ground for more from Sniper Bladeworks. If all goes well, the brand is finally about to gain even more of the recognition it thoroughly deserves.

Oakley’s New Retro Sunglasses Are Both Classic and Unprecedented

The sporty curves of a ’90s icon return three decades later, but this time they’re reframed in an entirely new light.

After half a century, Oakley continues to blaze trails.

The brand recently announced plans to equip the next moon-bound astronauts with sun shields. And a new partnership with Meta may define its performance eyewear for years to come.

Looking ahead, its next release will stay a little closer to home. However, the one-off drop will still represent another first for the brand — even if it does reframe an iconic pair of sunglasses with three decades of history.

Back to the future

As part of a new collaboration with the Brazilian brand Albino & Preto, Oakley will once again reissue the original Eye Jacket from 1994.

The Eye Jacket was one of Oakley’s signature designs throughout 1990s and 2000s.
Oakley

And while its sporty profile and signature curves will look instantly familiar to anyone who grew up in the 1990s — or has simply followed the brand’s collaborations with Satisfy — the Albino & Preto Eye Jacket represents Oakley’s first foray into a new category: jiu-jitsu.

Black wraparound sunglasses with yellow mirrored lenses, featuring a red Oakley logo on the temple and a sleek, aerodynamic design.
While Oakley still sells an Eye Jacket called the Redux, it lacks the smooth curves of the original.
Albino & Preto

(Oakley previously worked with Albino & Preto on two hyper-exclusive projects that were limited to friends and family, but this is the first one available to the broader public.)

The sunglasses themselves sport a black frame and red logo that matches Prizm Ruby lenses, while two small flourishes courtesy of Albino & Preto separate it from a straightforward reissue.

First up is the brand’s signature logo, which sits on the bridge of the frames. There’s also a gray motif on the underside of the lens housing to match aspects of a broader collection.

Looking ahead

Beyond the sunglasses, the collaboration also includes apparel, ranging from a limited-edition gi to a complete nogi se that includes both long- and short-sleeved rash guards.

There’s also a gi, which includes the Oakley logo on the back.

Both long- and short-sleeved rash guards are available.
Albino & Preto

All components will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, September 3, from Albino & Preto and Oakley’s official website.

According to both brands, the drop will be followed by a “second chapter” in the future. That said, specifics around exact pieces and timing remain under wraps for the time being.

They say variety is the spice of life. I say variety is the spice of bike.

That truth becomes apparent to me as I survey the motorcycles we’ve been covering in just the past few weeks.

Ranging from a scrappy 125cc street bike to a rumbling 1200cc cruiser— with a couple EVs for good measure — the following roundup is one wild mix of two-wheeled wonder, and I am here for it.

Scroll down to catch up on all the latest and greatest from the likes of BMW, Buell, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Triumph and Royal Enfield — plus a bunch of cool brands you might not heard of.

Check them out and enjoy. After all, as The Guild Navigator insists, “the spice must flow.”

2026 BMW F 900 GS “Dark Edition”

While this upgraded variant of BMW’s excellent “touring enduro” is technically only available in France (at a sweet discount), you can cobble together your own version a la carte. The Blackstorm Metallic paint scheme is already the base color of the US model. To it you need only add the “Premium Package,” which includes Gear Shift Assist Pro and Rides Modes Pro plus a tire pressure monitor and electronic cruise control. You can also swap in off-road tires for just $55 more.

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles

2025 Yezdi Roadster

This bike’s beating heart is a liquid-cooled 334cc single-cylinder engine making a spirited but not exactly threatening 29 horsepower and 21 pound-feet of torque. Together with a seat height of 31.3 inches and a wheelbase of 56.7 inches, that means a super-approachable, beginner-friendly ride. Meanwhile, from an aesthetic standpoint, the retro silhouette is a timeless banger, while the gorgeous matte black paint scheme also hits.

2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200

Triumph’s Speed Twin 1200 is the most powerful modern classic in the Bonneville range. Its liquid-cooled 1200cc engine makes 103.5 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and 83 lb-ft of torque at 4,250 rpm. In addition to striking retro looks, then, it also comes with respectable performance under the saddle.

Sporty motorcycle with a sleek design featuring a bright orange fuel tank and front fairing, black frame, and black seat. It has a visible rear suspension spring, black alloy wheels with disc brakes, and a compact exhaust system. The handlebars include rearview mirrors, and the overall look is modern and aggressive.KTM

2025 KTM 250 Duke

Encased within this approachable naked street bike’s steel trellis main frame and aluminum subframe, the engine is a liquid-cooled 249cc single-cylinder 4-stroke making 31 hp and 25Nm of torque. Not huge numbers, but plenty for urban hijinks and rural twisties, especially considering its other specs. Like the larger Dukes, it comes complete with a 5-inch LCD dashboard controlled via switch cubes and pairable with a smartphone, enabling you to rock out, take calls and head in the right direction via turn-by-turn navigation.

2025 Kawasaki Ninja 300

Assuming the US version arriving next year is derived from the lil’ Ninja available in India and other markets, we’ll be looking at a 296cc parallel twin engine delivering smooth, torquey power at low to medium revs and more potent acceleration at higher rpm — or so Kawasaki says. Regardless, riding the bike will be even easier than it was last decade thanks to an assist and slipper clutch, which limits back torque and makes the clutch lever more responsive, requiring just a light pull to engage and let you shift gears.

Honda CB1000F

Silver and blue Honda CB1000R motorcycle with a retro-inspired design, featuring a round headlight with a small black windscreen, black frame, and exposed engine components. The bike has a black seat, dual front disc brakes, and a large silver exhaust on the right side.Honda

Honda CB1000F SE

This long-awaited roadster derives its engine and chassis not from the CB1000R but from the CB1000 Hornet, which means a Fireblade-based, liquid-cooled 999cc inline-four making 150 horsepower — plus a similar steel frame, shocks, brakes and wheels. The retro body style is obviously a big departure — the Hornet is much more of a streetfighter — and a welcome one given the enduring popularity of this sort of silhouette, which Triumph has been dining out on for years with its various Bonnevilles.

Honda EV Fun

This long-simmering concept recently won a prestigious Red Dot Design award, and Honda says it’s (finally) going into production early next year. That would make it the first true Honda electric motorcycle, and a pretty snazzy-looking one at that. While its claimed 62 miles of range and non-swappable power source are downers, Honda’s sterling rep has us believing it will still be a battery-fueled banger.

Buell Super Cruiser

While many details about the Super Cruiser remain under wraps, the known specs and features are promising. The beating heart is a Buell 1,190cc liquid-cooled V-twin making 175 horsepower and 100 ft-lbs of torque. Elsewhere it boasts a number of name components, including Fox front and rear suspension, a Brembo dual-disc braking system and Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tires. Thanks to the input of Roland Sands Design, the overall result is throwback style backed up by modern performance, promising you’ll look good stopped at a traffic light — and look great accelerating out of it.

2026 CFMoto 750SR-S

The Chinese brand’s first four-cylinder sport bike is simultaneously turning heads and raising questions about performance versus price. It comes to play with a 749cc DOHC engine making 110 horsepower and 59 lb-ft of torque. From a handling standpoint, it boasts an upside-down fork and a rear monoshock, plus a 20-stage adjustable steering damper, Brembo brakes, cornering ABS and an upshift-only quickshifter. With a wet weight of 490 pounds, it’s hardly the lightest thing on the road, though its seat height of 31.7 inches should leave it approachable for less experienced sport bike riders.

Royal Enfield Scram 450 motorcycle in matte grey with black accents, featuring a round headlight, knobby tires, dual rearview mirrors, and a single seat. The bike has a rugged, modern scrambler design with visible exhaust pipes and a compact frame.Royal Enfield

2025 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450

The second bike built on Royal Enfield’s new K platform engine (after the Himalayan 450), it represents a big step outside of the brand’s charming retro-styled comfort zone. With a fresh look, a compact but modern power plant and notable tech upgrades, the brand and bike are betting on the idea that a better, hipper yet still affordable midsize bike is just what much of the market has been craving. Our own test ride found many more pros than cons, meaning the future looks bright for a very different kind of RE bike.

Electric motorcycle with a sleek, modern design featuring a silver and black frame, round LED headlight, black seat, and large disc brakes on both wheels. The bike has a visible rear suspension spring and a chain drive system.Nuen Moto

Nuen N1-S

With premium parts from the likes of Bosch and J.Juan, the aluminum-framed N1-S boasts a motor with a max output of 24 kW and 190 Nm. That translates to a top speed of roughly 81 mph and presumably pretty zippy acceleration. Nuen also claims a city range of 124 miles and a maximum range of 152, if you take it easy and squeeze the most out of its regen braking. Meanwhile, the neo-retro scrambler aesthetic appears to extend to actual off-roading, courtesy of high-performance suspension and brakes, plus light dual sport tires wrapping 17-inch wheels.

Honda

Honda GB350C

This retro-styled beauty follows the GB350 and GB350S, bringing with it subtle, military-inspired colors in slate and sand, plus the same air-cooled 348cc single as its stablemates. With roughly 19 horsepower and 21 lb-ft of torque on tap, it won’t win you any races. However, keep in mind that the Honda can manage an impressive 90 mpg because of its economical engine. What’s more, at just a touch over 400 pounds wet, it’s not like this bike needs a lot of grunt to be a good time.

Black and red Hero Glamour X motorcycle with sporty decals, front disc brake, rear suspension springs, and a sleek aerodynamic design.Hero MotoCorp

Hero Glamour X

The Glamour X isn’t exactly gonna knock your socks off with its power and speed. Operated via a five-speed gearbox, the air-cooled 124.7cc single makes 10.7 horsepower and 10.6 pound-feet of torque. Still, that’s plenty of oomph to nip and tuck your way through city gridlock and probably tackle some light twisties beyond the city limits, too. More notably, weighing just under 280 pounds (for the higher-end disc-brake version) and making use of Hero’s i3S idle stop-start system, the Glamour X boasts a claimed … wait for it … 148 miles per gallon.

Yeti’s New Coffee Mugs Are Durable, Desirable and Cheap

Limited in nature, the item quickly found its way onto the secondhand market, where prices started at $70 … per cup.

However, rarity only played one part in the mug’s desirability among collectors, fans and everyday java heads.

The mug is compatible with Yeti’s MagSlider Lid.

The cup features Yeti’s proprietary DuraSip Ceramic Lining, a coating that doesn’t just prevent staining and scratches but may actually improve the taste of coffee.

Anyone who has ever sipped from an unlined stainless steel cup knows that acidic beverages can often take on a metallic taste, especially if left out for hours at a time (something the insulated nature of the mug actually supports).

The ceramic coating serves as a buffer against stains and scratches. It also helps to skirt the metallic taste that can come with acidic drinks like coffee.
