Pair Your Secretlab Gaming Chair With The Moduar MAGNUS Metal Desk

If you’re one of the many gamers who are planning to overhaul your current gear, Secretlab is offering a bunch of new products right now. Even those who just want to enhance their work from home setup can find something useful. Our personal pick would be the MAGNUS Metal Desk thanks to its versatile features.

Almost a month ago, we shared details about the brand’s TITAN Evo 2022 gaming chair. For the folks who ordered one, perhaps they need another Secretlab product to pair it with. It might as well be the MAGNUS Metal Desk to match the branding and aesthetics.

What we have here is a precision-crafted piece of gaming furniture to optimize ergonomics. Secretlab says it its modular system lets owners mix and match optional accessories just like their gaming rigs. Moreover, it is durable enough to withstand bumps, scrapes, and support heavy loads without flexing.

Even the hinge of each MAGNUS Metal Desk undergoes approximately 10,000 open and close cycles. The company claims it will retain the smooth articulation for years. In fact, they’re backing up the claim with a 5-year warranty.

They’re listing the dimensions as 59” x 27.5” x 29” (W x D x H) and weighs 92.6 lbs. The tabletop can support up to 200 lbs, while the rear cover can take up to 55 lbs. Secretlab goes for a matte black finish for that sleek and stealthy theme.

Of course, the key highlights here are the magnetic accessories to customize it with. No more unsightly cords in disarray as the cable management tray keeps them out of sight. Everything you need to assemble the MAGNUS Metal Desk ships in the box.

Carry Items In Style With The Louis Vuitton Coffee Cup Pouch

You don’t have to be a coffee lover to get your hands on the  Louis Vuitton Coffee Cup Pouch. Use it to pack your everyday small on-the-go necessities in style. Or if you’re feeling brave why not a cup of coffee to bring justice to its name.

This luxury item is part of the Everyday LV capsule and unveiled at the Fall-Winter 2021-22 Show. Its design plays at the elements of everyday morning routines, like grabbing a cup of coffee at a cafe on the way to work or school. Designer Virgil Abloh patterned it after an oversized coffee cup, which you can carry by hand or wear as a sling bag.

The Louis Vuitton Coffee Cup Pouch uses cowhide leather trim finished off with the brand’s iconic vintage monogram all around its body. To go along with the brown color scheme, it features matte brown color hardware from the double-zip closures, zip tags, adjustable straps, and buckles. Then it has white for the lid and the “louis vuitton” print on the front

This hardly falls under the sling bag category. Regardless, you can let your creativity and imagination conjure up ways to make it useful for your carrying needs. It only has one storage compartment after all. But the convenience of the strap being removable/adjustable means the pouch can probably double as a cup warmer.

The Louis Vuitton Coffee Cup Pouch is stylish, trendy, hip, and gender-fluid: it looks good for both boys and girls. It is for those with extra cash to spare as it is worth a whopping $3000.

4DFWD Pulse: Adidas introduces another pair of running shoes with 4D technology

A couple of years back, Adidas caught our attention when it announced its partnership with Parley for the Oceans. This collaboration brought about sustainable footwear that uses recycled plastic and other reusable materials. A few months ago, the 4DFWD made its debut and now we have a new model called the 4DFWD Pulse.

You can think of it as a spin-off of the original with enough tweaks to warrant a lineup of its own. It borrows just enough elements from the original but introduces a new silhouette and a more affordable price point. Although it may seem like a downgrade of sorts, these running shoes still pack the brand’s latest technology.

Adidas assures us that its eco-friendly initiative is not lost in the process. As such, the 4DFWD Pulse features the company’s Primegreen textile for the upper. It may not feel like the sock-like Primeknit on the original, but it provides a snug yet comfortable fit.

Years of running data give us the 4D midsole, which helps improve performance during your run. The activewear manufacturer uses a proprietary 3D printing system TO create the distinct lattice patterns you see on the heel cradle.

The angle is precision-engineered to cushion every impact and push you forward with every step. Then there’s the high-traction rubber outsole that grips almost every surface. The 4DFWD Pulse uses a lace closure system and features the Adidas badge on the tongue.

Three Stripes branding are visible on the midfoot section of the upper in both medial and lateral sides. A textured overlay on the heel counter extends all the way up to the heel tab. You can get the 4DFWD Pulse in four colorways.

Made In just released its take on the popular beer glass, and it’s one you should buy if you have even the slightest interest in beer. The Teku glass’s claim to fame is its design, meant to maximize everything about your beer from the taste to the aroma and carbonation. The stemmed glass has an angled, tapered bowl with a flared, outward lip that aids in head retention and makes it feel like a beer waterfall is entering your mouth. The Perfect Pot Does Exist, and It’s Made By the Same People Behind the Always Pan

Our Place— the brand behind the cult-favorite Always Pan and other Instagram-friendly kitchen and dining products — has just released its latest piece of cookware. Meet the Perfect Pot.

The new 5.5-quart pot is designed to do all the things the Always Pan wasn’t up for, such as deep frying and braising — and unlike its predecessor, the Perfect Pot is oven-safe, up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

our place perfect pot
Our Place’s Perfect Pot does everything the Always Pan can do and more.

Our Place

The Perfect Pot is made of aluminum, which is thought to be good for quick and even heat distribution. It’s finished with a nonstick ceramic coating and a roasting rack (which doubles as a steam tray) comes with it. The straining lid is self-basting, as it helps to reintroduce the moisture lost from cooking back into the food, a feature popularized by the Staub Dutch oven.

Like the Always Pan, the Perfect Pot is lightweight and nice enough to go from stovetop or oven to the dining table. The pot carries the same aesthetic as the Always Pan, and it’s currently available in blue salt, while new colors — spice, chair and steam — will be released in the following days.

The Perfect Pot is available now, but act fast because as of publishing, there are fewer than 400 pots left.

This New Tool Watch Celebrates India’s Space Program

Space exploration has inspired countless watches. You know Omega’s Moonwatch and perhaps others associated with NASA or Russia’s space program, for instance — but what about other countries’ achievements? Did you know, for example, that you can get watches made for France’s space agency and those for Chinese taikonauts — and now, you can even get a very cool tool watch by an up-and-coming Indian brand celebrating that country’s 50 years of space exploration?

Bangalore Watch Company is a microbrand to keep an eye on. Since 2017, they’ve produced a number of watch collections with a deft eye for the details, refinement and quality watch enthusiasts tend to appreciate — and a touch of local pride always gives their take on traditional watch styles a shot of character that helps them stand out. Following interesting concepts like a recent Cricket-inspired watch, the new Apogee takes cues from another area of national pride.

The Apogee is the brand’s third sport watch collection, and the most tool-like yet — and, as with many space-themed watches, it’s based on a pilot’s watch concept. Powered by a Swiss Sellita SW200 automatic movement, it has an entirely bead-blasted titanium case and an inner 24-hour bezel for tracking a second time zone, controlled by the crown at 2 o’clock. The 4 o’clock crown is for normal winding and setting and both are proportionally large and textured for easy gripping.

watch

Courtesy

The finishing and sporty retro shape along with 100m of water resistance suggest an almost German-feeling tool watch, but the brand has injected an element of elegance for the modern wearer: A reasonable case size at 40mm should help keep the Apogee wearable for many wrists and for sliding under cuffs. Further, gradient (fumé or “smoked”) dials — as featured on three of the models — are currently a popular way give a watch some aesthetic flare. The case backs features an engraving of the 1975 Indian satellite Aryabhatta.

Three models feature the gradient treatment in blue, green or gray, and a fourth is a special limited edition of only 50 examples and has a meteorite dial. Each gradient dial version has a price of $922 and the limited edition with the meteorite dial will cost $2,270. They’re available to pre-order now from the brand’s website and will ship in December 2021.

The CrownCruiser Is A Stylish, Speedy, And Secure Carbon Fiber e-Bike

There are times when even the world’s leading brands just don’t have exactly what you’re looking for. If that product is not available from the mainstream market, why not check out crowdfunding projects instead? Who knows? You just might stumble upon something cool like this e-Bike called the CrownCruiser. Eschewing conventional design, it’s brimming with sleek stealthy style.

This striking machine is the brainchild and the first campaign by Adebola Adeleye of Sheffield, United Kingdom. As of this writing, we can see that it has already surpassed the original $50,000 goal by 230%. Perhaps the attractive profile of this sustainable mobility platform enhances its appeal.

On the other hand, maybe, it’s the carbon fiber frame. The creator of this e-Bike draws inspiration from British racing. Starting with the monocoque’s composite construction, the CrownCruiser weighs in at just 55 lbs. The robust properties of the material also mean that it can support rides up to 330 lbs.

Pair that with an aerodynamic retro-modern silhouette and you have one stylish two-wheeler. As for the specifics, it boasts a RockShox Monarch RT3 suspension system for that smooth ride. Magura MT4 brakes ensure reliable stopping power when you need it.

When you want to take a break from cycling, let the powerful Bafang single-speed electric motor take over. The high-capacity LG lithium-ion batteries are enough for up to 100 miles between charges. This combination likewise gives the Crowncruiser a top speed of 31 mph.

We like how the chunky tires match the rugged outline of the carbon fiber frame. To discourage theft, the CrownCruiser is equipped with advanced protection technology. We have motion sensors, GPS tracking, and an alarm system to alert others.

Muzen Audio Is Building A Premium Rugged TWS Speaker Called The Cybershell

With its work on The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, gamers held CD Projekt Red in high regard. After years of development and delays, Cyberpunk 2077 was finally released in September 2020. Sadly game-breaking glitches rendered it almost unplayable on multiple platforms. Despite the disastrous launch, its massive marketing campaign continues to influence designs like that of the CyberShell.

What looks like a fancy futuristic desktop decoration is a fully functional true wireless speaker. Just like how modern TWS earbuds work, you can pair two for stereo sound. So far, we like how Muzen Audio went with physical controls instead of touch.

Moreover, It just feels more immersive when you can mechanically toggle various settings. The CyberShell measures 3.6” x 2.2” x 7.5” (W x D x H) and weighs about 2.3 lbs. The manufacturer is also taking into consideration the build quality here. To match the striking and edgy aesthetics of the speaker, plastic is a no-go.

Instead, they’re using a zinc alloy metal structure, which really makes it a premium option. According to its crowdfunding page, this likewise helps the speaker’s stability and acoustics. For versatility, hook it up to your source via USB-C, 3.5 mm aux cable, or go cordless with Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity.

Meanwhile, moisture won’t be a problem thanks to the IPX5 waterproofing. Our ideal setup would be to grab two CyberShell speakers for our desktop. The RGB lighting makes it a great match for any high-end gaming rig.

The 3,100 mAh lithium-ion battery should last up to 13 hours with average use. Muzen Audio is also offering a Shell Dock, which we’re guessing is for charging the speakers. The first batches of the Cybershell speakers are shipping out later this year.

The Skysphere Concept From Audi Can Seamlessly Transform Into A GT Or Roadster

The 2021 Monterey Car Week just wrapped up and gearheads are probably still reeling from all the awesome automotive announcements last week. Aside from the auctions, leading carmakers were also teasing intriguing technologies for the future. We’ve seen mechanical transformations on vehicles, but never like what Audi has in mind for the Skysphere Concept.

According to the German marque’s press release, you can freely switch between two configurations during travel. At first, we were thinking that it was just clever wordplay describing the convertible. However, it appears the engineers have something else in mind.

With a touch of a button, a motorized telescopic system adjusts the wheelbase. We’re not entirely sure which is the default configuration here, but it can essentially turn into a grand tourer or a spyder with suicide doors on each side. It may not be a major game-changer, but it is certainly remarkable.

As much as we want it to be somewhere along the lines of an iconic Hasbro toy line, the Skysphere Concept is more possible to execute. Audi also includes the stereotypical hallmarks you can expect from a car of tomorrow. We’re referring to the crazy use of LEDs.

From the front, you have the four interlocking rings emblem, grilles and headlights with special lighting systems. Meanwhile, it carries over to the rear lights as well. Automakers really need to stop with this standard trope when it comes to futuristic vehicles.

Nevertheless, it looks cool on the Skysphere Concept and somehow hints at its electric powertrain. Going sustainable is on every manufacturer’s roadmap anyway. Early specifications suggest 623 horsepower, 553 lb-ft of torque, and 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds. As for the cabin, this two-seater boasts a minimalist yet elegant theme with more edges than curves.

When you need a reliable wearable for even the most challenging outdoor adventures, Suunto is a brand would talk about. For its newest release – the Core Alpha Stealth – it’s crafted with specific types of users in mind. According to the manufacturer, what sets it apart is how users can remain inconspicuous when the lights go out.

Aside from the military, we can think of law enforcement, hunters, and documentary filmmakers as those who will benefit from its discrete functionality. As the name already implies, the key feature here is superior visibility even in the absence of a light source.

This comes from the red backlight that illuminates the 2-inch dot matrix display. Even with a pair of night-vision goggles on, the Core Alpha Stealth will remain readable minus the blinding glare from other models. This is handy during tactical operations, hunting at night, and capturing skittish nocturnal wildlife on film.

Suunto says each watch undergoes a rigorous testing phase and meets demanding military standards. The 49.5-mm composite case is paired with an aluminum bezel and mineral crystal for lightweight durability. Despite the chunky outline, it only weighs 2.36 ounces.

Even with regular use, its user-replaceable CR2032 battery cell should last up to 12 months. A barometer, compass, and altimeter provide all the data you need when the situation calls for it. Moister is never an issue here as the Core Alpha Stealth boasts ingress protection up to 100 feet.

What makes this so appealing for us is the blackout colorway which lives to the monicker. To complete the tactical vibe, Suunto pairs the Core Alpha Stealth with a black NATO strap. It may look like one but take note that this is not a smartwatch.

Wool Street’s Wooly Eco-Friendly Cooler Is A Versatile Addition To Any Outdoor Eats

Coolers are synonymous with camping, picnics at the park, backyard BBQ, or a day at the beach. It is a wonder to haul around regardless of weight and size because it offers storage for food and drinks. But oftentimes, they are made of plastic and this is where Wool Street’s Wooly Eco-Friendly Cooler beats the rest.

This camping gear brings sustainably to mind with its recyclable construction. Instead of plastic, it uses corrosion-resistant aluminum for its outer housing. It also uses bamboo for its side handle grips and natural rubber gasket. Meanwhile, stainless steel makes up its inner housing. Stainless steel is non-toxic because it does not produce chemicals when exposed to water. It is also known for its durability and is easy to clean.

Dubbed as the “world’s first recyclable cooler,” Wool Street’s Wooly Eco-Friendly Cooler uses 100% biodegradable material for its insulation. As its name entails, it uses wool to keep food and drinks frosty. Plus, sheep’s wool is antifungal and proven to absorb and neutralize harmful and odorous substances.

It even has a bamboo cutting board built right into its lid to use for chopping or serve food and a built-in sandwich tray. The cooler opens with a tackle-box-style hinge to support both cutting and retrieving of items stored inside.

Storage-wise, Wool Street’s Wooly Eco-Friendly Cooler can store 52 quarts. It can hold 78 cans of beer and keep items cold for a max of three days thanks to the wool insulation. It also comes with a side drainage hole compatible with a standard American garden hose to flush out melted ice easily. It may not be cooler with wheels, but it’s light enough at 18.3 lbs. and compact at 24.6″ L x 14.9″ W.
