This Formidable Flipper Turns an Iconic Tactical Blade into a Far More EDC-Friendly Knife

Although it dates back to ancient agriculture, the Southeast Asian karambit knife is most closely associated with tactical usage. While appreciated by military personnel, its typically aggressive design has limited its everyday carry practicality.

Kubey’s Jaw folding karambit fixes that issue with one seemingly simple change. Of course, even without the alteration, this knife would be pretty spectacular.

Kubey Jaw Folding Karambit knives on wooden valet tray
A seemingly simple change turns the tactical karambit into a much more EDC-friendly cutting tool.
Kubey

Dangerous (re)curves

The chief difference between this Karambit and others, including other folders, is the blade shape. Kubey has simply flipped it, but that change makes all the difference.

While other karambits have a hawkbill blade, which is like a hook, this one has a recurve blade — essentially the “flipped” version of a hawkbill. This gives it a longer, wider cutting belly that’s much more practical in EDC settings.

However, the handle’s styling, including the finger ring on the tail, is still very much in line with traditional karambits. This makes it grippy, ergonomic, secure, and still flippable.

Aston Martin x Bowmore ARC-54 WhiskyBowmore

Aston Martin x Bowmore ARC-54 Whisky

The final release in Aston Martin and Bowmore’s collaborative ARC series, this Islay single malt scotch whisky was distilled 54 years ago, in 1968, and was aged in a 2nd Fill European Oak Sherry Butt and 3rd Fill American Oak Hogshead. However, the 61.8% European Oak and 38.2% American Oak aged blended spirit is only half the story. Along with the whisky itself, the individually handcrafted glass decanter — inspired by Aston Martin’s Valkyrie Hypercar — is a work of art in its own right that evokes the “movement of air” in a physical form.

Civivi’s Practical, Affordable EDC Knife Was Penned by the Son of Knifemaking Royalty

Similar things could be said for the handle. It’s not flashy but has a solid shape and style, offering a good size and ergonomics to match. Furthermore, while the three holes toward the butt are more for style than anything else, the largest one also doubles as a lanyard attachment point, should you want one.

Praising a knife for its practicality might not sound like a strong endorsement, but it should be. Ultimately, knives are tools, and this one is designed to get the job done right the first time, every time.

The Crabby comes in four configurations, including this classic green-and-black one.
Civivi

Old reliable

Like its styling, this knife’s materials appear to be chosen not for their flair, per se, but for their reliability. In the case of a would-be go-to everyday carry knife you can turn to literally every day, this is a very good thing.

In three of the four configurations (the fourth one being the fancy Damascus version), the blade is crafted from Sandvik 14C28N steel, an old standard in the EDC space. It’s durable, tough, corrosion-resistant and easy to maintain — all essential EDC features.

Luminox’s New Navy SEAL Watch Reimagines A Classic

Cutting-edge upgrades, rugged capability and aesthetic refinement define the new Luminox 4230 Series.

navy seal watchLuminox

Welcome to Talking Points, a series that looks at what makes certain products worth talking about, brought to you by Gear Patrol Studios.

Luminox is no stranger to providing capable and rugged equipment to some of the toughest humans on the planet — the brand has been collaborating with the Navy SEALs for over 30 years.

This continued cooperation has pushed Luminox to create timepieces capable of standing up to the most extreme conditions, and the new Navy SEAL 4230 is no exception.

Here’s everything you need to know about this tough-as-nails new timepiece.

navy seal watchLuminox

Forged with Grit

The Luminox Navy SEAL 4230 combines brand-new developments, including a reworked bezel and enhanced light technology, with a rugged design honed over decades of working with the SEALs.

But it’s not without beauty either. The intricate new case back design is engraved with an American eagle, navy anchor, and the Luminox logo.

The result is a watch that considers every detail and pays homage to the elite fighting force that relies on its grit.

Refined for Form and Function

The new textured dial, which features a “NAVY SEALS” inscription, is the standout feature of this watch and reflects its tactical nature; red accents nod to the boldness, intensity and focus SEALs bring to every mission.

To honor the toughness required of these warriors and the gear they carry, the 4230 Series also features Luminox Light Technology (LLT). The unique lighting system consists of 16 light tubes in green and orange to guarantee visibility in even the darkest conditions and ensure maximum functionality.

A key difference between the Navy SEAL 4230 and other Luminox watches is its black IP-plated 316L stainless steel case and bezel. The weight and strength of the stainless steel used in both the case and bezel make a substantial difference in the watch’s feel and offer a new level of refinement.

The Navy SEAL 4230 has two strap options: a no-nonsense black rubber strap for everyday wear and a black-on-black Velcro strap, allowing the wearer to customize its fit during intense activities.

The Complete Package

Every detail of the Luminox Navy SEAL 4230 Series has been designed with intention and precision, reflecting the exacting demands of those who inspired its design. Developed alongside the world’s most elite special operations force, this watch is one you can count on.

At just $795, it also delivers an impressive amount of value, history and prestige, making it an excellent choice for collectors, newcomers, and anyone who is rough on their stuff..

The Next Must-Have Chronograph Is from a Brand You May Not Expect

The Chronomaster Sport 160th Anniversary Edition may be the most beautiful watch ever to house the esteemed movement. The dial, coated in a blue lacquer that matches the ceramic case, contains the three tonal overlapping subdials indicative of the Chronometer.

A 60-second counter at three o’clock is a darker, contrasting blue to the dial, while the running seconds dial at nine o’clock and the 60-minute counter at six o’clock are separate shades of silver.

The hands and hour markers are plated in rhodium, an element that resembles platinum but is harder and more corrosion-resistant, and inlaid with SuperLuminova.

Because the central chronograph hand rotates fully every ten seconds, the blue ceramic bezel is marked with a 10-second track in white, with dashes indicating each tenth of a second.

An exhibition case back displays the oscillating weight with Zenith’s 160th-anniversary logo cut out in relief.

Kizer Morphs Its Original Crossbar EDC Knife Into a User-Friendly Utility Multi-Tool

Though incredibly useful, utility knives aren’t always the most enticing tools, least of all in the EDC world. Most are cheap, not particularly interestingly designed and not built in pocket-friendly formats.

Kizer’s Drop Bear Utility Multi-Tool aims to change that. This EDC tool transforms the utility mainstay into a more carry-friendly offering and improves its multifunctionality and user-friendliness.

Kizer Drop Bear Utility knives
Thanks to its decorative handle patterns, this might be one of the most beautiful utility knives ever crafted.
Kizer

EDC transformation

This utility tool reimagining is based on Kizer’s Drop Bear EDC knife, the brand’s first-ever crossbar lock cutting tool. Like its predecessor, it retains the crossbar lock, which provides security and fidget-friendliness.

It also retains the original’s aluminum handle. However, it has its own flair. This one comes with two unique, refined, textured machining patterns that look great and add depth and grip.

It also has a lanyard attachment point at the handle’s base and a reversible pocket clip. It measures 6.7 inches overall, of which 3.96 inches are the handle and the remaining 2.74 inches are the blade and housing.

We Knife Resurrects One of Its Most Refined EDC Flipper Designs

About seven years ago, We Knife launched an EDC flipper with a fairly inconspicuous name. However, the 702 was one of the brand’s most significant releases, as it was We Knife’s first-ever integral folder.

Now, the defunct model is mounting a comeback with four new, updated configurations. The We Knife 702xi elevates the original in several ways, including improvements to its materials and mechanisms. It’s more refined than ever.

We Knife 702xi open and closed
Instead of a frame lock, these new takes on the iconic 702 have seen the mechanism swapped for a button lock.
We Knife

Off the handle

To grasp what makes this knife special, you must first understand what an integral knife is. Luckily, the concept is pretty straightforward, even if the name is a little obtuse.

An integral knife has a handle made of a single piece of material instead of multiple pieces sandwiched together with hardware. In the case of the original 702, that material was titanium.

The new 702xi models also use titanium, but some noteworthy differences exist. For starters, the titanium integral handle also gets fat carbon fiber inlays, which helps refine the design.

12 New Pocket Knives and Multi-Tools You Might Have Missed

Bestech, Cold Steel and Kershaw raised their games, while a cheeky WESN release made April 1st a day to re-meme-ber.

From time to time, we all feel the need to prove ourselves. Such a mood seems to have struck a number of knife brands this week, as Bestech, Cold Steel and Kershaw all came to play with some impressively high-end new knives.

But hey, not everyone was on so much of a grind, as one look at WESN’s meme-themed Microblades indicates.

Feel free to have a little fun yourself by taking a serious look at the week’s most notable knife and EDC releases below.

Buck The 55 Knife Custom on gray backgroundBuck

Buck Customizable 55 Knife

The smaller sibling to Buck’s legendary 110 Folding Hunter, the 55 is a relatively unsung small EDC knife. However, that could be about to change, as the brand has just launched a huge amount of custom options for this tiny titan. Along with offering blade swaps — including options for S35VN or MagnaCut steel — the knife also sees several handle and bolster options, and can even be custom-engraved.

Cold Steel AD-10 Demko Blackout Limited Edition knife on gray backgroundCold Steel

Cold Steel AD-10 Demko Titanium Blackout Limited Edition

Cold Steel’s Demko-designed AD-10 has been a staple of the tactical and EDC communities for ages, but this limited edition version is perhaps the stealthiest and most minimalist it has ever been. Limited to just 1,000 examples, it gets a blacked-out colorway to go along with its 3V steel and titanium handle upgrades. Of course, it still has the legendary Tri-Ad lock that helped solidify this knife as a knifemaking icon.

WESN The Meme Line 4-Knife Bundle sittong on desk next to papers and pencilsWESN

WESN The Meme Line 4-Knife Bundle

It might seem like a joke — especially as it launched on April Fool’s Day — but this WESN knife bundle is very real. This bundle includes four blacked-out D2 steel and titanium Microblades, each emblazoned with a different iconic meme on the handle scales. While the designs are clearly cheeky — as is the pricing — the knives are legit and high-quality, crafted in the brand’s Detroit facility. They’re only available as a set for one day, so get ’em while you can.

Remette RT-Meteor knife on gray backgroundRemette

Remette RT-Meteor

If it only had front flipper and thumb stud deployments, a complex-ground M390 complex blade and a titanium handle with carbon fiber inlays, Remette’s RT-Meteor would still be a pretty spectacular knife from tip to tail. However, it also has a pretty interesting novelty: a button-actuated frame lock (meaning it can be operated like a traditional frame lock but also has a button release). That helps set this gorgeous knife apart even further and makes it one of the most unique releases of the year.

Bestech VK-Kuze knife on concrete backgroundBestech

Bestech VK-Kuze

Designed by Vulpex Knives, Bestech’s VK-Kuze is a thoroughly modern, minimalist pocket knife that sneakily draws inspiration from traditional Japanese design. For instance, the MagnaCut blade might look like a straight back or drop point, but it’s actually an extremely subtle tanto shape. Equipped with both a front flipper and single-sided thumb stud deployment, that blade is mated to a titanium handle with an integrated frame lock. The gorgeous VK-Kuze is yet another example of Vulpex’s exceptional design prowess.

Kizer Drop Bear Utility Knives with tweezers, pick and razors on manilla folder and deskKizer

Kizer Drop Bear Utility Knife

Kizer has transformed its original crossbar knife, the Drop Bear, into an equally sleek and robust utility knife. However, the brand didn’t simply swap the EDC blade for a replaceable razor — it crafted a tool-free mechanism that makes swapping blades a cinch while keeping them secure in use. While this utility folder still features the brand’s reliable, ambidextrous crossbar lock and reversible pocket clip, it also has a couple of other hidden bonuses: a pair of tweezers and a toothpick hidden in the handle.

Böker Plus Tac-Master on gray backgroundBöker

Böker Plus Tac-Master

This robust tactical folder was penned by Bob Terzuola, master designer and former knifemaker at the CIA. At over nine inches in length, it’s a hefty knife backed up by its hard-working construction. That includes a Nitro-V blade with a black stonewash finish and a complex grind — which makes it as adept at piercing as it is at carving. The flipper blade collapses inside a Micarta handle, offering great stability and durability, and is secured by a reliable liner lock. As is often the case with Terzuola’s designs, this knife doesn’t play around.

Serge Panchenko Mid-Tech Coin Claw Gen 5 Auto knife on concreteSerge Knives

Serge Panchenko Mid-Tech Coin Claw Gen 5 Auto

Serge Panchenko’s innovative Coin Claw knife has been a cult-favorite EDC oddity for years. But the fifth-generation version you see here is the first time that it’s been given an automatic deployment mechanism. The circular knife features a 1.21-inch S35VN steel hawkbill blade, a stonewashed titanium handle and a button to operate the lock and deployment. It’s also made in the USA.

Helle

Helle Fjording 50 aar – 2025 LTD

Fifty years ago, Helle introduced a unique fixed-blade knife with a blade roughly half as long as a traditional one, ideal for carving and woodworking. The Fjording walked so that the iconic Helle Nying could run, and to honor that legacy, the brand has rolled out a 50th anniversary update. The 50 aar (translation: 50 years) features the same short stubby blade and contoured handle but the blade steel has been upgraded to Helle’s thicker laminate H3LC steel and the handle is made of of curly birch, stabilized green curly birch and leather. Like most Helle offerings, this knife comes complete with a premium leather sheath.

best made brass higo knivesBest Made Co.

Best Made Co. Brass Higo

Best Made recruited a fifth-generation Japanese knifesmith to craft its iconic folder, which boasts an Edo-period design with a flattened thumb lever deploying a reverse tanto-shaped blade. The knives are handmade in the Yasugi district with modern steel (SK5 high-carbon steel for the Mini size, Aogami No. 2 blue steel for the Mid and Max) and polished brass. The $58 Mini’s blade is 1.6 inches, the $78 Mid’s measures 2 inches and the $88 Max’s is 2.95 inches.

Kershaw Covalent Titanium knifeKershaw

Kershaw Covalent Titanium S35VN

One of two upgraded editions of Kershaw’s popular Covalent knife, this one sees its blade swapped for S35VN steel and its handle swapped for titanium. While the knife’s material swaps help give it a robust, luxury boost, everything else that already makes it great still remains. That includes its DuraLock crossbar lock, flipper deployment, KVT ball-bearing pivot and extra-deep pocket clip.

Kershaw Covalent Carbon Fiber knifeKershaw

Kershaw Covalent Carbon Fiber M390

One of two upgraded editions of Kershaw’s popular Covalent knife, this one sees its blade swapped for Böhler M390 steel and its handle swapped for carbon fiber. While the knife’s material swaps help give it a robust, luxury boost, everything else that already makes it great still remains. Kershaw Flexes Its Muscles by Upgrading a Popular Crossbar EDC Knife — Twice

In 2023, Kershaw released a series of knives showcasing the brand’s DuraLock — its take on the increasingly popular crossbar lock. Among them was the Covalent, which quickly became one of the brand’s most popular drops in the DuraLock lineup.

Now, the brand has returned to that knife silhouette with two upscale, upgraded editions: the Covalent Titanium S35VN and the Covalent Carbon Fiber M390. Spoiler alert: They’re both fantastic.

Kershaw

More of the same, but better

As you might expect, not everything about these two new takes on the Covalent is different. Much of what made the original knife thankfully remains.

For instance, its physical specs haven’t changed. The knives are still 7.6 inches long with 3.2-inch drop-point blades. While the titanium version is a bit heavier at 3.8 ounces (a product of its materials), the carbon fiber one remains 2.8 ounces, just like the original.

Other returning features include the flipper deployment, KVT ball-bearing pivot, lanyard hole and deep-carry pocket clip. Furthermore, they both retain their showcase feature, the DuraLock crossbar locking mechanism.

This Jacket’s Innovative Fabric Has a Weatherproof Super Power that Isn’t Waxed Canvas or Gore-Tex

Stone Island developed a fabric that sandwiches an aluminum foil sheet between two layers of cotton poplin. This utilizes the metal’s heat-trapping properties and creates a water-resistant layer while maintaining the look and feel of a cotton jacket.

The only visual sign of the aluminum is a slight sheen to the fabric, which Stone Island played into by adding reflective tape to the inside of the cuff and waistline.

the back of a man wearing a yellow raincoat that says Stone Island Marina on it
The back of the Marina Aluminium Tela Parka displays the stenciled Stone Island Marina logo.
Stone Island

The Marina Aluminium Tela Parka is another impressive feat from Stone Island’s research and development department. It uses a common, cheap and harmless material to replicate the performance of GORTEX and other chemical DWR treatments. Most important of all, it looks great.

Availability and pricing

The Stone Island Marina Aluminium Tela Parka is available now from Stone Island for $1,305. A navy blue version is also available from British retailer End.

Looking at Stone Island’s history, this could be the only time that this aluminum-cotton fabric is used. Hopefully, the jacket will be a success, and the textile will be developed further as a more sustainable alternative to DWR chemical treatments.

Tumi’s Best Hardshell Suitcases Just Got Even More Travel-Friendly

But Tumi didn’t stop there. Every detail, even the zippers, was meticulously considered. Some parts, like the low-density magnesium telescoping handles, were even improved or entirely swapped.

However, cutting weight was just half of the battle. In the redesign, Tumi wanted to ensure the bags were still tough enough for the rigors of international travel. The brand didn’t just go for what was lightweight; it carefully chose parts that were also robust and resilient.

Tumi

All in the family

Like its predecessor, the 19 Degree Lite collection encompasses numerous bag sizes and different colorways. That includes both Continential and International Carry-Ons, the Short Trip 4 Wheeled Packing Case and the Extended Trip 4 Wheeled Packing Case.

Color options include Black Graphite, Blush (a pale pink), Amber (orange), Cobalt (blue) and Titanium Grey. That means there’s a lot of different sizes and styles to choose from, allowing you to customize your luggage set.

This EDC Sling’s Robust Materials Were Made to Thrive in the Harshest Environments

Sling bags (or crossbody bags) are some of the most versatile EDC haulers. They’re not as clunky and clumsy as backpacks and messenger bags, but they’re usually much more capable and stylish than hip packs (or fanny packs).

Of course, it doesn’t hurt when a brand as masterful as DSPTCH does the design and production. Case in point: The brand’s Unit Sling RND Edition bags are some of the most robust, adept, featherweight EDC slings around.

All five of DSPTCH Unit Sling Bag RND Edition
Four of the five Unit Slings are made with Ecopak (a type of sailcloth), while the last is made from Dyneema.
DSPTCH

Deceptively robust

The RND Edition of the Unit Sling’s biggest strength lies in its material. That’s partially literal, as the fabric is incredibly strong, but it’s also somewhat figurative.

Four of the five configurations are crafted from a combination of Challenge Sailcloth ECOPAK EPX 200 — a type of recycled polyester used in the sails of professional, competitive sailboats — and 420D ROBIC nylon. The fifth is made from Dyneema — a UHMWPE known for being ten to fifteen times stronger than steel.

Either way, the bag is remarkably tough and resistant to abrasions, punctures, tears and so on. Yet, despite its strength, it’s also incredibly lightweight. In fact, the whole bag weighs just 14 ounces — about as much as a soda can.

This Sleek Minimalist Knife Puts a Unique Spin on a Traditional Japanese Blade Shape

Flashiness alone does not make a good EDC knife. Some might say the true test of a great blade design is whether it can stand out without relying on gimmicks or flair.

Such is the case with Bestech’s VK-Kuze, a subtle, minimalist spin on traditional Japanese design elements. This knife proves that attention to detail (and the materials and mechanisms to back it up) is the secret to good design.

Vulpex Knives designed the gorgeous Bestech VK-Kuze.
Bestech

Foxy folder

The Bestech VK-Kuze is designed by Vulpex Knives, a German knife designer responsible for some of the most interesting recent EDC knife designs, especially in terms of minimalism. This design, perhaps obviously, continues that trend.

It’s pretty exceptional materially. Its 3.0-inch blade is made of MagnaCut steel, and the handle is titanium. It also has a ceramic ball-bearing pivot.

Regarding its other mechanisms, it’s equipped with a front flipper and a single-sided thumb stud for deployment alongside its sturdy integrated frame lock.

An Acclaimed Rugged Pilot’s Watch Just Got an Unexpected Makeover

  • Bremon’t BM pilot’s watch was developed in collaboration with Martin-Baker in 2009 to withstand being ejected from a fighter jet, leading to the Trip-Tick case design
  • The Altitude BM Meteor case, bezel and bracelet are titanium
  • The Altitude 39 and Altitude Chronograph GMT utilize the Trip-Tick case design

Bremont’s new Altitude collection introduces the third generation of its Trip-Tick case system, first developed in 2009 to withstand the extremes in g-force, pressure, temperature and impact caused by being ejected from a fighter jet.

Designed to be ejected

In 2007, Bremont teamed up with ejection seat manufacturer Martin-Baker to create a watch that could withstand the rigors of being ejected from a plane mid-flight. Extensive R&D led to the Trip-Tack case, a three-layer system that protects against extreme impact force, magnetic fields and temperature fluctuations.

The Successor to Solomon’s Best Hiking Boot Fixes Its Predecessor’s Biggest Problems

Since their release in the spring of 2021, Salomon’s X Ultra 4 boots have been among the most exceptional outdoor footwear. They were so good that they made the top pick (“Best Overall”) on our best hiking boots list.

However, they weren’t perfect — a fact the brand appears to be aware of. With its successor, the Salomon X Ultra 5, the brand has improved its best boot design in numerous crucial ways.

Salomon X Ultra 5 Hiking Boot
The boots’ new Kevlar-like Matryx weave gives the upper more durability where it’s needed most.
Salomon

Upper crust

As mentioned, the Salomon X Ultra 4 — the predecessor to this new release — was an outstanding all-around hiking boot (and shoe). However, it had some problems. Namely, its toe cap and sidewalls were prone to blowouts — a big problem on an otherwise sturdy boot.

The 5 rectifies this with its new Matryx woven upper — a Kevlar-like material — and some strategically placed reinforcements.

The Matryx weave ensures a much greater degree of durability across the upper without hampering its flexibility or comfort. The reinforcement points add a little extra strength where the boot needs it most.

Samsung’s “Fan Edition” tablets are more affordable versions of the company’s Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra tablets. The 10.9-inch S10 FE and 13.1-inch S10 FE Plus both have LCD displays (instead of OLED) and have a single rear camera (instead of dual). They are powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1580 processor, run an Android 15 operating system, and support the S Pen stylus (included in the box). Available in three finishes: gray, silver or blue.

Alpha Industries put its signature military spin on a classic chore coat with the CTN. It is built from 100% cotton canvas but has a nylon backing patch on the right-hand chest pocket. Donut rivet buttons are used for the opening and cuffs and there is a single vent in the back. The washed garment-dyed fabric comes in safron, light blue and faded green.

A Legendary Mid-Century Watch Movement Returns, More Accurate Than Ever

Starting slightly off-center, the small seconds dial is cut from blue mother of pearl with an 18-karat white gold hand and applied indices. Next, the 18-karat white gold faceted hour and minute hands sit in the center of a circle cut from lapis lazuli.

The hour track is the most elaborate section of the dial, featuring blue guilloché bricks and 18-karat white gold dash indices, which are doubled at three o’clock, nine o’clock and twelve o’clock.

This masterful arrangement of tonal blues is framed within a platinum case, accented with curved stepped lugs. At 39 millimeters wide and only 10 millimeters thick, it is gracefully understated.

Availability and pricing

The Zenith C.F.J. Calibre 135 will be available in April from Zenith for $49,900. As part of the 160th Anniversary Collection, it is limited to 160 pieces.

The watch comes with a blue alligator leather strap with a platinum pin buckle, a black calfskin leather strap and a blue Saffiano calfskin leather strap. A matching platinum bracelet with a double folding clasp is available for additional purchase.

This Striking EDC Knife Combines Two Popular Locks Into One Convenient Package

It’s not just an oddity, either. The lock is just as sturdy as any other frame lock. The button only serves to make operating the knife even more convenient. It doesn’t hurt that it’s a great knife otherwise.

(For reference, Remette didn’t invent this lock design. Other knifemakers have employed similar designs, like Real Steel and Reate.)

Much more than a novelty

Even if this knife only had one lock disengagement method, it would still be exceptional. Made to look like a meteor arcing across the sky, it measures 7.5 inches. That’s on the larger end of the EDC spectrum but is still within the reasonable size range.

Its drop-point blade features a complex, manually ground shape with satin and pearlescent surface effects. It’s also made from Böhler M390, one of today’s most popular, sought-after super steels.

Dr. Marten’s Iconic Original Boot Gets a Handsome Handcrafted Reissue

On April 1, 1960, a small factory in Northamptonshire, England, pushed its first pair of boots off the line. Called the Dr. Martens 1460, this footwear would change the fashion and footwear industries forever.

Now, 65 years later, the brand returns to that original release with a luxurious, painstakingly handcrafted tribute. This reissue, the Dr. Martens 1460 Love Letter, might be the finest pair of boots the brand has ever released.

Give ’em the boot

As mentioned, the original 1460 was released on April 1, 1960, which is how it got its name (1 for the day, 4 for the month of April and 60 for the year). This new edition is meant to pay tribute to its timeless legacy, which it does in more ways than one.

For starters, the 1460 Love Letter is produced in the UK, honoring the brand’s tradition of craftsmanship and its original release. It’s also made by hand instead of mass-produced on a machine-driven assembly line.
