This Category-Shattering Grill Might Change Outdoor Cooking Forever

1250ºF is ludicrously hot. Most gas and charcoal grills don’t get anywhere near that hot. Even some infrared grills, famed for their searing abilities and ultra-high max temperatures, struggle to reach that threshold.

But 1250ºF is ludicrously hot. Most gas and charcoal grills don’t get anywhere near that hot. Even some infrared grills, famed for their searing abilities and ultra-high max temperatures, struggle to reach that heat threshold.

What’s just as surprising is that the grill is still fueled by 100% natural hardwood pellets according to Recteq.

In other words, the X-Fire Pro 825 ridiculously high heat range isn’t achieved via a novel a hybrid design that leans on other fuel sources like propane or charcoal to help boost direct flame cooking temps, like Pit Boss’s Mile Hybrid Grill.

A Recteq X-Fire Pro 825 shown closed sitting on a wooden deck.
Recteq’s written and video press materials don’t call attention to any particular revolutionary technology or design innovation driving this massive leap in performance, which seems a little strange.
Recteq

Adding further to the intrigue is that Recteq’s press materials don’t call attention to any particular revolutionary technology or design innovation that’s driving this massive leap in performance.

And frankly, in my nearly two decades of covering product news, that feels strange, bordering on suspicious. In my experience, rarely does a brand miss an opportunity to crow about its innovations over the competition.

Adding further to the intrigue is that Recteq’s press materials don’t call attention to any particular revolutionary technology or design innovation that’s driving this massive leap in performance.

Then again, I can’t cite any factual evidence to support my wariness.

Recteq, in fact, has a strong reputation among vocal online communities like Reddit. Fans especially praise the company’s excellent customer service.

So perhaps Recteq just has its reasons for keeping the secrets of the X-Fire Pro 825’s insane heat producing capabilities close to the vest.

An Underdog Bag Brand Just Became a Serious Contender in the EDC Category

There’s no single “best” everyday carry backpack. Some are extremely tough, but might be extremely expensive. Others offer excellent organization, but at the cost of additional bulk. Every single one requires the user to make some measure of sacrifice.

That said, some do an impressive job of balancing their pros and cons in ways that might make you wonder if they have any downsides. The Mous Optimal Protective Lid Backpack is one such bag.

The Protective Lid Pack has a name that doesn’t do this bag justice.
Mous

Minimalist looks, maximum protection

The Protective Lid Pack might win some hearts with its appearance alone. Its styling is exceptionally minimal while still having some character. You wouldn’t confuse it with another bag on the market, but it isn’t boastful or gaudy.

Yet it also offers all the conveniences you’d expect from an everyday carry backpack. These include an external water bottle pouch, some easy-access zippered pockets and even compression straps.

To be fair, some of its styling is owed to its material makeup. The exterior — including the protective lid from which it derives its name — is crafted from 840D ballistic nylon alongside 500D panels. Furthermore, that fabric boasts a weatherproof triple-layer polycarbonate and polyurethane coating.

This Cold Steel Knife Was Just Crowned the Strongest Folder on Earth. Here’s Why It Might Be True

Admittedly, it’s on the larger side of the spectrum. It measures a whopping 8.375 inches in total, which could be prohibitive for some. That said, if you can make the room, the knife will obviously pay back dividends.

Cold Steel AD-10 knife in industrial setting
Its versatile blade shape and ergonomic handle complement the knife’s raw strength.
Cold Steel

While the blade takes up four of those inches, the rest is made up of a G10 handle. This material makes the knife’s weight manageable, keeping it just under seven ounces. (For reference, the titanium version weighs a whopping 9.0 ounces.)

That handle also benefits from its ergonomic shape. Furthermore, the finger cutouts add a layer of safety and security, helping to prevent fingers from slipping up the blade when putting the knife through its paces.

This is not a knife for the faint of heart. But if you value robustness and performance, it’s worth the investment in money and space. Watch the Blade HQ YouTube video and try to say you’re not intrigued.

Victorinox Expands Its Watch Portfolio with New Swiss Army Collection

Built like a tank, with the aesthetic of a sports car, the new Swiss Army Auto 42mm is the ideal everyday watch.

watchVictorinox

Welcome to Talking Points, a series that looks at what makes certain products worth talking about, brought to you by Gear Patrol Studios.

Victorinox is a well-known name in the world of knives — after all, the Swiss Army Knife™ is one of the most recognizable tools on the planet.

Alongside its experience in manufacturing knives, the brand is also known for creating reliable, functional timepieces, and the new Swiss Army Collection exemplifies that.

The brand-new collection is an update to the best-selling Field Force range and serves as a capable entry point to the Victorinox family. Our standout pick from the new series is the Swiss Army Automatic 42mm. Read on to learn more.

The Backstory

Victorinox has built a reputation around crafting quality tool watches that marry accessible prices with reliable, no-nonsense performance.

Since its entrance to the U.S. watch market in 1989, Victorinox has continued to build solid timepieces that watch enthusiasts can wear daily, whether working or adventuring, without worrying about damaging their watch.

The new Swiss Army Automatic 42mm is no exception: functional simplicity and inherent readability were the guiding principles behind its design.

The Gist

Building upon the history of the Victorinox field watch, this series is all about design originality. This new series retains Victorinox’s iconic industrial design codes while embracing a streamlined aesthetic, functional simplicity and readability.

These timepieces feature plain, undistracting dials with a matte finish for increased legibility, curved shapes, function indicators, raised numerals, and Super LumiNova®-illuminated oversized hands, all of which combine to form a cohesive picture of clarity and readability.

They also feature ISO-certified anti-shock housings and water resistance good for up to 100 meters. The tool-free quick release strap system provides versatility and effortless changeability for the wearer; they can completely transform the look and feel of the watch by swapping for a bracelet that fits their style.

Each timepiece’s case, caseback, and movement holder is engineered, manufactured, and tested in-house at the Victorinox Watch Competence Center in Delémont, Switzerland.

Our POV

Any watch enthusiast looking to break into the space and invest in a watch designed to thrive in everyday wear will appreciate the brand-new Swiss Army Automatic 42mm.

With its homages to the Victorinox aesthetic, streamlined design, functional features and quality components, this is a watch to keep an eye on.

And if you still don’t see the watch you’ve been waiting for, Victorinox’s Dive Pro, I.N.O.X. Automatic or Journey 1884 series could be just the thing.

A Fan-Favorite EDC Knife Returns with a Clever Security Upgrade to an Iconic Lock

Back in 2013, Real Steel launched a Carson Huang-designed knife called the Exorcist. Blending Huang’s signature style with exceptional ergonomics, the knife became an immediate hit. Just a few years later, the brand stopped producing it.

Now, nearly a decade later, that knife has returned. But this isn’t a mere re-release; it’s a modern redesign complete with some noteworthy updates to its materials, styling and mechanisms.

Originally launched in 2013, the Real Steel Exorcist finally makes its long-awaited return.
Real Steel

Nine distinct configurations

Real Steel’s relaunch of the Exorcist EDC knife is ambitious. Its available configurations include nine distinct models across two different handle styles (including a pair of exclusives).

Despite the wide variety of options, they all share several features in common. For instance, all are equipped with S35VN modified sheepsfoot blades that pair unique style cues — a harpoon-style ramp and angular spine — with a long, versatile cutting edge.

They also all share the same sealed ball-bearing pivot, wide pocket clip and frame lock with an additional CASSL device (more on that later). Their biggest difference is in their titanium handle scales.

Oakley Velo Head System

Years in the making, Oakley’s fastest head system ever is a joint effort with Tudor Pro Cycling, who advised on designs optimized for races like the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France. The Velo Kato sunglasses boast a large field of view with unmatched clarity and contrast, thanks to a new nosepad and Plutonite lenses. Meanwhile, its flow container works in conjunction with the already-aerodynamic Velo Mach helmet, reducing overall drag for cyclist competing in the margins.

Insta360 X5 action cameraInsta360

Insta360 X5

The Insta360 X5 is the company’s flagship 360-degree action camera for 2025. Compared to its predecessor, the 2024-released X4, the X5 has a similar design but features larger 1/1.28-inch sensors and promises better image quality with improved low-light performance. It also supports more shooting modes, including an InstaFrame mode that allows it to shoot regular and 360-degree videos simultaneously. The other significant upgrade is that the scratch-resistant lenses are now replaceable, so you won’t have to buy an entirely new camera should a lens get damaged.

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Ace Jewelers is offering two exclusive dials in the Nomos Metro Neomatik, one 35mm and one 39mm. Only 50 of each watch is available.

Aether x Leica Reporter Jacket

In 2024, Aether (a top-notch moto gear and apparel brand) and Leica (the lauded camera brand) launched the Reporter Jacket, a waxed canvas coat specifically formatted to meet the needs of photographers. It sold out completely in an hour. Now, the two brands have teamed up again to revive that jacket, but in an all-new blacked-out colorway. It still has all the same capability and style, but with much stealthier looks. It will also probably sell out super quickly.

Both the “eject” marking next to the button and “scope” deep engraving on the clip should trigger nostalgia, as will the commemorative box, Konami Code magnet and “Instruction Manual” notebook. This pen will be available for purchase for $149 April 29–June 30, and you can sign up now to be notified when it officially launches.

We Knife Morphs One of Its Most Formidable Folders into a More EDC-Ready Knife

Sometimes, a great idea needs a second chance to really shine. For instance, Amazon started as an early internet bookseller before blossoming into the online retail giant we know today. Similarly, Crocs had to emerge from commercial kitchens before becoming a fashion staple.

While We Knife’s Micro Trogon isn’t quite a reimagining of that same magnitude, the point remains: this knife has become better than ever with just a few tweaks.

We Knife Micro Trogon
Most of what made the Trogon great remains, but in a much more carry-friendly package.
We Knife

From whence it came

As you’ve likely surmised, the We Knife Micro Trogon isn’t a wholly novel design. It’s based on a full-sized knife called, obviously, the Trogon. Designed by Brian Brown, it was one of We Knife’s more popular designs when it dropped.

Still, it had its downsides. Its biggest was, well, its size. At 7.77 inches, it was a little too big for some people to carry reasonably. Still, its silhouette and construction were rock solid, making up for its bulkiness and heft.

Thankfully, the Micro Trogon retains virtually everything there was to love about its predecessor, while shaving off a full 1.25 inches of its length. The silhouette remains, as does its excellent construction and most of its materials.

This Retro Dive Watch Revives the Original Wrist “Computer,” No Electricity Required

In this case, the P-104 Selectron is configured to calculate speed and distance in kilometers, a nod to the watch’s aerospace roots. With a little practice, it is surprisingly simple to use.

Founded in 1956, Ollech & Wajs specialized in slide rule bezels during the 1960s and 1970s. It provided different logarithmic scales geared toward dive watches, pilot watches and racing watches.

Although this watch is reviving the Selectron name, it is actually a rebranding of the newer P-104 design with an updated logarithmic scale bezel.

The heart of a dive watch

The Quartz Crisis of the early 1980s, along with advancements in pocket calculators, forced the brand to shut down.

However, it was resurrected in 2019 and launched with two new references, including the P-104.

SOG Throwing Death Cards in woodSOG

SOG Throwing Death Cards

To some, throwing knives are a risky gambit. To others, they’re useful tools that can help one develop unique skills and make for fun campground games. SOG’s Throwing Death Cards are most certainly for those who fall into the latter camp. Styled like playing cards, they’re crafted from 2.8 mm-thick stainless steel and designed to survive years of usage. Their tapered edges aren’t razor-sharp, so you don’t have to fear cutting yourself accidentally, but they’re fine enough that they’ll stick into whatever you throw them into.

Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro

Nothing’s budget-friendly brand, CMF, will officially announce its next-gen smartphone, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, on August 28th. However, ahead of that date, it’s been teasing various details about it, including the fact that it’ll have the same dual 50-megapixel camera system as the Nothing’s $379 Phone (3a) … but the Phone 2 Pro is expected to be significantly cheaper. Now the brand has revealed what the smartphone will look like, which is similar to its first smartphone, the Phone 1, but with a two-tone design.

The North Face Imbued These EDC Bags with Some of Its Most Rugged Outdoor Fabrics

These packs can handle everything your travels may entail, whether that’s a simple daily commute or some rigorous cross-country travel.

Similarly, the first three have 840D recycled ballistic nylon boots with non-PFC DWR coatings, while the others have 1680D ballistic nylon boots with the same non-PFC DWR coatings. This means that they’re incredibly durable and weather-resistant.

Because they’re built to the same standards and with the same materials as The North Face’s outdoor-focused Base Camp adventure bags, these packs can handle everything your travels may entail, whether that’s a simple daily commute or some rigorous cross-country travel.

The North Face Base Camp EDC Travel Bags on blue background
Many of these EDC bags also share tactical influences, as can be seen in these bags’ modular external webbing.
The North Face

Now you know your EDCs

Ruggedizing the exterior, while exciting, isn’t good enough to make for solid everyday carry packs. Thankfully, it appears The North Face is deeply aware of this. That’s why they equipped these bags with plenty of other EDC-friendly features.

The Base Camp Daypack, for instance, has an external water bottle sleeve and MOLLE-style external webbing for additional attachments, as expected in an outdoor pack. However, it also has an internal, separately accessible, zippered laptop pouch.

This Dazzling EDC Knife’s Unusual Blade Shape Isn’t Just for Looks

Regardless of what your average EDC cutting tasks entail, the Tipper can likely handle them with grace and aplomb.

Its large primary edge is great for hard-use cutting tasks, like chopping and carving. However, where the blade turns upward — one of its tanto-like features — it has a secondary edge that’s better for more detail-oriented, everyday tasks, like opening packages.

Furthermore, its clipped point gives it some piercing power. Regardless of what your average EDC cutting tasks entail, the Tipper can likely handle them with grace and aplomb.

With five gorgeous configurations to choose from, it’s going to be difficult to decide which Tipper to buy.
Kansept

Edge fund

Obviously, the Tipper’s blade is a clear highlight. However, it’s far from the only thing that makes this knife carry-worthy. Scoot down below its thumb stud manual deployment, and you’ll find it’s also attached to an impressive handle.

All five configurations feature titanium as the primary handle material. They’re also all anodized — some more spectacularly than others. Either way, they’re as tough as they are lightweight.

This Strange Yet Stunning Watch Takes Titanium to a Whole Other Level

Both the case and dial of Ming’s latest watch are machined from the hardwearing material. Meanwhile, Adidas updates a fan-favorite runner and Snow Peak drops a new insulated layer.

Ming 37.02 Ghost

Ming took the hard route by making the case and dial of the 37.02 Ghost from pure titanium (grade 2), rather than the grade 5 alloy used in almost all modern titanium watches. It is far more difficult to machine but results in a richer, warmer texture that cannot be duplicated otherwise. It is also nigh indestructible and incredibly lightweight, resulting in 100-meter water resistance and a weight of 38 grams. The Ghost runs on an automatic movement specially built for Ming by Sellita with an anthracite skeletonized bridge and customized rotor.

Adidas Boston 13Adidas

Adidas Boston 13

Adidas revamps its fan-favorite tempo shoe with the brand’s best foam compound. The Boston 13 boasts 13.8 percent more Lightstrike Pro than its predecessor, and it also features additional padding on the tongue and collar for enhanced comfort on longer workouts. What’s more, it borrows the same outsole found on the Adizero Adios Pro 4 for traction without the weight. In an ode to the Boston Marathon, from which it derives its name, the launch colorway is inspired by the gear Adidas used to manufacture for race staff in the 1990s. Available from May 6.

EcoFlow Wave 3 and Glacier ClassicEcoFlow

EcoFlow Wave 3 and Glacier Classic

EcoFlow’s Wave 3 and Glacier Classic are next-gen versions of its portable AC and heating and portable refrigerator and freezer units, respectively. The Wave 3 is more powerful than the Wave 2, capable of cooling and heating larger RVs and tents. While the Glacier Classic no longer has the built-in ice maker that was in the previous Glacier, but promises more internal storage while still taking up the same amount of space — it comes in 35L, 45L and 55L sizes.

snow peak flexible insulated shirtSnow Peak

Snow Peak Flexible Insulated Shirt

The renowned Japanese outdoor living brand would probably never name it so, but this de facto shacket has the makings of a campground classic. Constructed of largely recycled polyester and available in four colors and seven sizes, the versatile unisex garment can function as lightweight outerwear or a mid-layer. In addition to hand pockets, the shirt also offers a chest envelope pocket with a hidden zip pouch. A PFC-free DWR treatment adds a bit of water resistance too.

Todd Snyder x New Balance 574 Legacy

Todd Snyder teamed up with New Balance to create an elevated rendition of the iconic 574. It utilized the contrasting textures of hairy and smooth suedes in a uniform creamy color called Shiro or a gray with white detailing called Gure. Both names are the Japanese words for white and gray, respectively. The outsole and ENCAP heel cup on each are an earthy gum color that anchors the famous silhouette. Exclusive to the New York retailer, this quintessential “dad shoe” has never looked classier.

Years ago, someone asked Spyderco founder Sal Glesser what folding knife he’d give his son to take into the military. Not having a good answer, Glesser designed one that would meet the rigorous needs of service while remaining lightweight. Thus, the Spyderco Military was born.

Although it took many years, the brand finally released a follow-up to that legendary knife, imbued with all the lessons Spyderco had learned. Now, that follow-up has its own follow-up, which could be its toughest expression ever: the Spyderco Military 2 Salt.

At 9.51 inches, the Spyderco Military 2 pushes the limits of reasonable sizing for an EDC knife.

A legacy in knifemaking

A beefy knife, the Spyderco Military is the precursor to some of the brand’s most significant releases, including the ParaMilitary, the Para Military 2 and the Para 3. Without it, none of these other knives would even exist.

While they share similar silhouettes and are sized nearly identically (the original is 9.52 inches, whereas the Military 2 Salt is 9.51), the original Military is a very different beast from its Salt sequel sibling.

For instance, the Military 2 has a Compression lock, whereas the original predates that mechanism, thus having a liner lock. Similarly, while the blade retains its signature shape and Round Hole manual deployment, this newest version gets a material upgrade to MagnaCut super steel.

Hoka’s Best Daily Trainer Is Now More Durable, More Versatile and Even More Cushioned

Truth be told, though, its individual story is one of evolution, not revolution — as if anyone will complain. After all, why mess with a good thing?

Compared to last year’s model, the biggest changes happen underfoot, where the Clifton gains an extra 3mm of stack height, clocking in at 42mm for a men’s size 10.

The stack height grows to 42mm (an increase of 3mm from the Clifton 9), while the heel-to-toe-drop goes from 5mm to 8mm.

While Hoka’s designers decided to preserve the midsole material, compression-molded EVA, the extra foam should offer additional impact resistance during longer efforts, as well as increased durability over hundreds of miles.

CMEVA isn’t the most advanced foam on the market, but it’s a dependable workhorse that promises hundreds of miles.

What’s more, the heel-to-toe drop increases from 5mm to a more universal 8mm, offering a smoother transition underfoot — especially at faster paces — making this the most competent Clifton for tempo and track workouts.

Samsung’s Ingenious Dolby Atmos Soundbar Could Be a Game-Changer for the Category

Samsung is one of the biggest names in soundbars. At CES earlier this year, it announced its 2025 line, and two models stood out.

First, there’s the Samsung HW-Q990F, the company’s new flagship 11.1.4-channel soundbar system. It’s quite similar to last year’s HW-Q990D, but the new model has a redesigned (and smaller) subwoofer and boasts advanced AI features that promise improved all-around sound.

Second, there’s the Samsung HW-QS700F, which is arguably the more exciting of the two. It’s a first-of-a-kind soundbar for Samsung that, thanks to innovative design and unique built-in sensor, works like few other soundbars out there.

Samsung

Not your average soundbar

At first glance, the Samsung HW-QS700F looks like most other soundbars, but it’s got a secret: it has an innovative “convertible” design that allows it to adapt its sound to where and how it’s placed.

Most soundbars can be wall-mounted or placed on a tabletop, but the way they are positioned stays the same — the top is still the top, for example. The HW-QS700F does it differently. When placed on a tabletop, the soundbar is positioned horizontally. When wall-mounted, it’s positioned vertically (as shown in the lead image).

This Bargain Chronograph Has a Smoother Sweep Than Most Automatics

If we’re being honest with ourselves, the biggest turnoff for those who look down on quartz movements–and I know because I admittedly can be one–is the jumping motion of the second hand. It just has an ick to it.

Sure, we can rationalize it by appreciating fine mechanical engineering and doing our part to keep the art alive, but deep down, most of us will admit that the sweep of the second hand makes all the difference.

Bulova

Bulova has an answer for us quartz non-believers with the HPQ (High Performance Quartz) Precisionist movement series. By all quantitative metrics, they blow away every mechanical movement outside of the highest luxury tier (re: Grand Seiko and Rolex).

The HPQ Precisionist movement line has been around since 2010, most notably powering the Lunar Pilot chronograph. But it has never been put to better use than with the new Marine Star Heritage.

This aquatic chronograph is based on a Bulova fan-favorite reference from the 1970s. Its faithful dial design includes the ten-star circle logo, but adds a third sub-dial to accommodate the 1/20 of a second chronograph register.

Bulova turns 150 years old in 2025, and the crown jewel of the anniversary celebrations might be this beautiful archival chronograph turbo-charged with the world’s most underrated quartz movement.

Announced last year but exclusive to Olympics-bound athletes, this innovative recovery sneaker is finally available for purchase. Designed to offer three levels of heat and compression for active recovery in a package that wears like a comfy pair of sneakers, these boots are poised to change the fitness recovery industry forever. While the price is pretty eye-watering, it’s good to know that they’re actually HSA- and FSA-eligible, which should take out a bit of the sticker price sting.

WhistlePig Maple Old Fashioned Troopers Edition Sticky Icky Bundle

One of WhistlePig’s best products isn’t whiskey—it’s maple syrup. But this bundle, released to celebrate 4/20, is the best of both worlds. In a collaboration with Super Troopers (yes, the Broken Lizard dudes), this pack contains a bottle of six-year-old Piggyback Rye whiskey and a bottle of cannabis terpene-inflused barrel-aged maple syrup. Combine them, and you get a sweet, spicy interpretation of an old fashioned that will have you coming back for more (and more and more). Better still, once the whiskey is gone, you’ll have plenty of syrup left over for your pancakes, waffles and whatever else

Perhaps the ultimate example of crowd-sourcing magic, the Bruzer emerged when Priority re-teamed with renowned bikepacker and filmmaker Ryan Van Duzer to build a tough and capable adventure rig that also excels on city streets. Duzer asked his 200,000-plus YouTube followers for feedback, Priority leveraged its own learnings, and the result is a bomber bike boasting a smooth-shifting 12-speed Pinion gear box, indestructible Gates Carbon Drive belt and tons of mounting points (25-plus!) on the fork and frame to load up for an epic weekend in the wild.

Bestech’s Mesmerizing Titanium Knife Is an Everyday Carry Powerhouse

However, its shape is what’s most interesting. A modified Wharncliffe, the blade has a long, straight cutting belly that’s great for extended slices. But this one is clipped at the end instead of coming to a sharp point — a downside to most Wharncliffes that makes them prone to snapping.

The steep drop-off of the tip retains the piercing point but also makes the blade less likely to break under pressure. Furthermore, it kind of acts like a guide, allowing you to gauge the depth of your pierces better than most other blade points.

Like a ripple on a pond

Even a cursory glance will tell you the Taipan has more going for it than just its blade. Its handle is also extremely eye-catching.

As far as construction is concerned, the ergonomic handle scales are top-notch, crafted from solid titanium. This means they’re lightweight and exceptionally sturdy. The rippled machining also grants some extra grip, along with making the handle look entrancing.

Ooni’s Brand-New Koda 2 Range Wants to Be Your One-Stop Cook Shop

man taking pizza out of Ooni ovenOoni

And yes… the Koda 2 Range can still cook pizza with the best of them.

Founded in 2012, Ooni was created to offer portable and affordable wood-fired pizza ovens to backyard chefs and pizza enthusiasts alike. Since its humble beginnings, the brand has developed an entire collection of electric and gas-powered ovens.

Ooni’s most recent release, the Koda 2 Range, promises even better performance than ever before. Read on to learn more.

Bigger, Better, Smarter

The brand-new Koda 2 Range includes the Koda 2 and Koda 2 Pro. Building upon the existing Koda gas-powered pizza oven platform, the brand has imbued it with substantial upgrades that make outdoor cooking faster, more efficient and easier than ever.

The standout feature on both novel models is the newly redesigned gas burner, which delivers enhanced heat distribution and reheating power.

Heating Up

The Koda 2 and Koda 2 Pro are equipped with G2 Gas Technology™, the innovation responsible for improving cook time and reheating across the new lineup.

The Pro option offers 420 percent better heat distribution and reheats up to 25 percent faster (*based on measured results of Koda 2 Pro compared to Koda 16). It also reduces hot and cold spots for a more evenly baked pizza — no more half-burnt pies for you.

Pizza fresh out of the Ooni Koda 2 ovenOoni

Along with its improved G2 Gas technology, the Koda 2 Range is built to cook anything, not just pizza. Whether it’s slow-cooked pulled pork, an entire roasted chicken or delicate fish, the Koda 2 Range’s tech is built to handle it all.

Ooni Koda 2 Pro Pizza Oven FlamesOoni

The new ovens’ temperature range runs from 215 degrees Fahrenheit to 950 degrees Fahrenheit (*based on measured results in Koda 2 Max), and the larger oven capacity can handle way more than your average ‘za.

Stay Connected

Ooni’s Koda 2 Range offers one more upgrade: the Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub. If you like to be able to track your culinary adventures in real time, this feature is a game-changer.

man getting pizza out of ooni Koda 2 ovenOoni

The Ooni Connect Digital Temperature Hub (sold separately for the Koda 2) lets users track real-time ambient temps and food probe readings directly on their smartphone. The hub can monitor that deep-dish pizza, pork chops or chicken wings from afar, so long as the user has connected their phone to the Bluetooth-enabled hub. For chefs who like to multitask, this alone is worth investing in the new range.

Whether you’re a pizza lover, outdoor cooking enthusiast or want to upgrade your backyard setup, the Koda 2 Range has something for everyone.
