This Retro Diver-Chronograph Gets an Eye-Catching Dial Update

The dial’s outer rim has a tachymeter, which is a standard issue, but placed inside of that is a relic of twentieth-century analog time measurement. A decimal track, which breaks a minute into 100 segments, allows for complex measurements rarely done by hand anymore.

The Skindiver Chronograph has a tachymeter and a decimal scale on the outer rim of the dial.
Vulcain

Vulcain nailed the vintage look of the Skindiver Chronograph with the first two dials. While some of that 1960s sporty tool watch aesthetic is lost with the new Saumon dial, it is more than made up for in overall beauty.

The Skindiver Chronograph Saumon has all of the fun features of its predecessors, with a much more eye-catching dial that will never go out of style.

Availability and pricing

The Vulcain Skindiver Chronograph Saumon will be available from Vulcain on July 3 for $2,850.

Additionally, the Meteorite dial launches on the same day for $3,180.

Spotify Just Breathed New Life Into One of Its Most Popular Features

Spotify is continuing its hot streak.

In the past two months, the music streaming giant has introduced a number of new features to its app, with some standouts including an overhaul of its Podcasts section and a new Snooze feature for songs you’re tired of hearing.

And now, for the first time in a decade, it’s introducing some new abilities to arguably its most popular playlist: Discover Weekly.

New genre controls

Discover Weekly is a personalized playlist that Spotify generates for you each week — specifically, each Monday. It uses your listening history and creates a 30-song playlist of new songs that it thinks you’ll like. The idea is to help you discover new music and artists.

First introduced in 2016, Spotify claims that more than 100 billion tracks have been streamed via the Discover Weekly playlist — it’s one of the service’s most popular features. And now, to mark the 10-year anniversary, Spotify is giving its Discover Weekly playlist a refreshed look and, more importantly, introducing new controls to provide you with greater control over the curated playlist.

Zohran Mamdani’s Quirky Casio May Become This Year’s ‘It’ Budget Watch

Though its dimensions put it squarely into gender neutral territory, the brand perhaps originally envisioned it more as speaking to potential female customers, given that every model shown wearing the watch is a woman.

What sets the A1000MA-7 apart from similar watches, including the strikingly similar A700WM-7AVT, is the attention to detail: a stainless steel case, mineral glass instead of plastic, quick-release straps, and a bit of dressy, mid-century flair in the form of a Milanese mesh bracelet.

A Casio A1000MA-7VT shown sitting on a marbled white table next to a pair of eyeglasses with circular frames and a plant
This particular Casio is priced higher than many of the brand’s models, but it also features premium details like a metal case and bracelet and a mineral glass front. At $160, though, it’s still far from an expensive watch in the grand scheme of the market.
Casio

Add a nostalgic digital module that still includes staples like an alarm, stopwatch, and LED backlight, and the overall piece looks vintage without being dated—retro without being costume.

At 39.6 × 38 × 7.3 mm, it’s also slim and easy to wear, yet still offers a reassuring heft of metal compared to a traditional plastic digital watch.

In many ways, the A1000MA-7 was built to be quietly appreciated by Casio fans. And that’s precisely what’s happened since its launch, seemingly until now.

One of the Best Technical EDC Brands Just Fixed the Biggest Problem with Messenger Bags

The Zero-1 addresses this in a simple yet novel way. Instead of two connecting points, this one has three, turning it from a strap into a kind of pseudo-harness. This helps spread the bag’s weight more evenly across the back and stabilizes the bag in motion, a crucial element of commuting.

The strap itself is also wider, which (again) helps further disperse the load and increase comfort. As an additional bonus, it also has a small zippered pouch on it, which serves as a handy, quicker-access EDC pocket.

Weightless wonder

While the harness-like strap system is one of the Zero-1’s big highlights, it’s far from the only thing that makes this bag great. As if the load-bearing system wasn’t comfortable enough, the materials also help reduce its weight.

There are two versions of the bag. Two of them (black and white) are made from Dyneema, a synthetic composite known for being ten times stronger than steel by weight. The third (seafoam) is made from X-Pac RX30, a similarly strong and durable fabric.

2026 Ram 2500 Warlock

While the Warlock nomenclature dates back to the ’70s, this adventure-ready edition — one of two new 2500 treatments alongside the Black Express — marks the nameplate’s debut in Ram’s Heavy Duty lineup. Derived from the 2500 Tradesman, the Warlock boasts four-wheel drive and a 405-hp Hemi 6.4-liter V-8 standard, plus a lifted stance, 20-inch diamond-cut wheels wrapped in 34-inch Goodyear Duratrac A/T tires and Bilstein shocks tuned for on- and off-road use. The blacked-out bumpers, fender flares and grille add to its striking appearance while cloth upholstery and bench seats nod to its rugged capabilities. The only available configuration is the crew cab with the shorter cargo bed, and the starting price is $57,165.

New Balance 475 Dark Alpine Green

New Balance fans may notice that the 475 resembles both the iconic 574 and the retired fan-favorite 1400. Indeed, it is somewhat of a hybrid between the two dependable daily-wear sneakers. While the Dark Alpine Green is not a Made in USA model, it shares similar chops with a layered suede over nylon upper. The tongue is nylon with white piping, and the outsole has heavy tire-like traction.

Topologie Backpack Vest

Combining the tenets of EDC and fashion into one unified garment isn’t easy, but Topologie has managed it with the Backpack Vest. It wears like a vest, boasting lightweight fabric and a zipper closure, but it has the utility of a backpack, courtesy of its water-resistant fabric and multiple storage pockets (front and back). It even has an integrated quick-release keyring and daisy chain webbing to expand its utility and carry capacity. For speedy commuters, this innovative apparel is unmatched.

GoPro Hero 13 Black (Forest Green)

GoPro has introduced a forest green version of its flagship action camera, the Hero 13 Black, which had previously only been available in black (although it did introduce a limited-edition “polar white” version in March 2025). Aside from the new finish, it’s the same Hero 13 Black as before. It has the same 8:7 sensor as its predecessor, the GoPro Hero 12 Black, but has been upgraded with new magnetic mounting and charging capabilities, three new interchangeable lenses and a longer-lasting battery. The forest green model costs $430, the same price as the standard black model.

This Tiny Multi-Tool Boasts More Utility Than Many Over Twice Its Size

EDC multi-tools are a game of give and take. The best ones pack a ton of functionality into a relatively small, pocket-friendly format. Yet some are far better than others at saving space or offering utility, but usually not both.

The EDC Monster KeyMaster 2.0 might just be the best of both worlds. This positively tiny keychain multi-tool packs the functionality of many twice its size or more.

EDC Monster Keymaster 2.0 multi-tool open and closed
While it boasts 18+ functions, the KeyMaster 2.0 is only about the size of a few standard keys stacked.
Kickstarter

Are you the key master?

The core consideration of any keychain multi-tool is its size. One that’s too long will stick out like a sore thumb, and if it’s too heavy, forget about it — it’ll bog down your whole keychain.

Neither of those are a problem for the KeyMaster 2.0. As its name suggests, it’s about the same size as a standard house key. For reference, it measures just 7.0 centimeters (or about 2.75 inches).

While it’s a bit thicker than a house key — probably closer to three or four keys stacked on top of one another — it’s still exceptionally lightweight at just 29 grams. For reference, that’s only a hair over a single ounce.

A 2024 Bugatti Bolide With Chassis Number 001 Heads To Auction

Something spectacular is heading our way this August as Gooding & Company shares some teasers ahead of the 2025 Pebble Beach Auctions. With the world’s top automotive enthusiasts personally attending or doing so by proxy, the lots on offer are surely captivating. It seems one of these is an extremely rare hypercar. We have a 2024 Bugatti Bolide on the list.

With only 40 examples ever built, all are track-focused machines that any motorsport fanatic would kill to drive. It all sounds thrilling on paper, but keep in mind that this configuration is not your average sports car. Only in the hands of a professional can we witness the extent of its capabilities.

Equally important, the public saw Bugatti test driver Andy Wallace push it to the limit at the 2023 installment of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It did not participate in the grueling endurance race, but certainly impressed all the right people. Thus, all production models were quickly spoken for thereafter.

The 2024 Bugatti Bolide in question is also extra special. According to official documentation, which undergoes a comprehensive vetting process, this is chassis number 001. Furthermore, an inspection of its odometer reading reveals a surprisingly low 389 miles. Bidders are likely throwing everything at this bad boy when the time comes.

Producing a jaw-dropping 1,578 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque is an 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine. It distributes everything to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The aerodynamics of the 2024 Bugatti Bolide generates close to three tons of downforce. It can quickly zip from zero to 62 mph in 2.2 seconds and hit an estimated top speed of 310 mph.

Yeti’s Latest Innovation Is Practical, Backwards Compatible and Cheap

Yeti has long set the standard in rugged, reliable drinkware. The Rambler line, in particular, has earned a loyal following for its exceptional insulation and durable construction, and we’ve considered it the best upgrade travel mug for years.

Yet, for all of the strengths of the insulated stainless steel vessels’ design and construction, almost every model has shared one consistent weakness.

Most, if not every, version is liable to leak if used in challenging ways.

Yeti has introduced a new Rambler Travel Bottle and a special cap that makes the new travel bottle unique.
Yeti

But now, through a pair of new releases, Yeti is claiming it’s finally solved this issue once and for all, and can finally offer Rambler owners a drinking vessel that’s “100% leakproof” in the outfitter’s own words.

The Retrofit Solution

The two pieces of the Yeti Commuter cap shown sitting side by side against a white background
The new Rambler Commuter Cap is designed to work with any Yeti Rambler bottle, making the vessel “100% leakproof” according to Yeti. It also costs just $15.

The key innovation revolves around Yeti’s new Rambler Commuter Cap. It’s a streamlined, user-first lid that consists of two parts that together bring convenience and peace of mind to Yeti’s Rambler bottle ecosystem.

This Legendary Japanese Brand’s Latest EDC Bags Are Made to Be as Versatile as Possible

Picking the perfect EDC bag is a tricky prospect. Go too minimalist and you could end up sacrificing a lot of capability. Pick a back that’s too fully-featured, and you might never take full advantage of it (or worse, it becomes too cumbersome).

And that’s to say nothing of the vastness of style options, including everything from the super-tactical to the ultra-refined.

The whole point of Porter’s Monochrome EDC bag lineup is to reconcile all of those issues. Each of the five bags in the Japanese brand’s new line is made to be as versatile as possible, both in styling and utility.

Porter Monochrome EDC Bags
The Daypack (left) and small Messenger (right) are just two of the five styles in this collection.
Porter

One bag to rule them all

Porter’s Monochrome lineup consists of five different bags: a Backpack, Daypack, 2Way Tote, and large and small Messenger. While they bear some similar styling and functional hallmarks, they’re actually not intended as a unified system.

Rather, Porter is hoping you’ll only ever have to pick one to serve as your go-to bag for pretty much everything, be that city commuting in your day-to-day, trekking into the mountains or even going on a multi-day adventure. Essentially, each bag is designed to do it all.

Danner Transformed One of Its Best Tactical Boots into an Easy-Wearing Adventure Sandal

Gorpcore has its merits, sure. But not everyone wants to look like they make their own trail mix from wild-gathered fruits and nuts when they’re actually out on the trail.

That said, hiking boots (and, let’s be honest, most shoes) aren’t super comfortable for summer outings. When the weather gets hot, the breathability of a sandal becomes a lot more alluring.

Danner has found the perfect compromise. An evolution of one of the Portland outfit’s best tactical boots, the Danner FullBore Sandal combines more aggressive styling with exceptional comfort and breathability.

Danner FullBore Sandal three-quarter shot of pair
The Fullbore Sandals maintain many of the features and styling of the boots, but they’re a lot better for warm weather.
Danner

Redefining “tacticool”

At first glance, confusing the FullBore Sandals for hiking shoes is pretty easy. After all, because they lack strappiness and an open-toe design, they genuinely look more like sneakers than sandals.

But take a closer gander, and you’ll find that they’re loaded with outstanding, semi-hidden features to help keep your feet cool outdoors. For instance, the leather upper is broken up with mesh panels, allowing your feet to breathe much better than a shoe or boot would.

SpaceOne’s Newest Release, the WorldTimer, Is Radically Reinventing Universal Time

After two space-inspired designs, SpaceOne is keeping its feet firmly on the ground with its third launch.

Talking Points SpaceOne World Timer watchSpaceOne

Welcome to Talking Points, a series that looks at what makes certain products worth talking about, brought to you by Gear Patrol Studios.

Innovative. Technical Accessible. These are the qualities that define the watchmaking of Théo Auffret and Guillaume Laidet, whose shared ambition brought the world SpaceOne in 2023. Although the brand is in its infancy compared to other notable names in the field, SpaceOne has already defined itself as a player to keep an eye on, thanks to its out-of-this-world designs and original complications, both inspired by space exploration.

Now, it looks like SpaceOne has pushed the envelope once again with its latest release, the WorldTimer.

SpaceOne World Timer watch laying on the surface of the moonSpaceOne

A leader in avant-garde horology

After the massive success of the Jumping Hour in 2023, and the Tellurium in 2024, SpaceOne is at it again with its newest model — but this time, rather than aiming for the stars, the brand is setting its sights here on Earth, determined to radically reinvent global timekeeping. The WorldTimer takes a new approach to timekeeping, replacing traditional aspects for new territory.

A radically new approach to timekeeping

The most noticeable feature of the WorldTimer is one of absence — you won’t find classic hands on this timepiece. SpaceOne eschewed traditional hands in favor of a system of rotating discs: a minutes disc at 3 o’clock, a central seconds disc, a 12-hour disc at 6 o’clock and, finally, two coaxial discs at 9 o’clock, displaying 24-hour time and corresponding cities.

Additionally, the WorldTimer features an intuitive, optimized adjustment system which, thanks to a three-position crown, makes the watch remarkably easy to use thanks to three components. The first position allows manual winding, the second, specially engineered, enables quick city disc setting, and the third simultaneously adjusts both the 12-hour and 24-hour discs.

Finally, the WorldTimer’s complication was developed in-house, ensuring a level of innovation, uniqueness and precision that is rarely found elsewhere.

Our POV

While the WorldTimer’s aesthetic certainly takes some getting used to, it’s the ideal fit for world travelers looking to stand out from the crowd — and unlock a level of disruption, innovation and precision that is hard to beat. While reading this unique timepiece may require a slight learning curve, the performance is worth the effort.

This Revolutionary Sports Car Solves the Biggest Problem with Electric Vehicles

Innovation from tip to tail

The battery tech is far from the only interesting thing happening with the Concept AMG GT XX. It’s important to note that, while it’s a four-door sedan, it’s also an all-electric hypercar, capable of reaching speeds of up to 360 kph (just a hair under 224 mph).

It does this by producing a power output of over 1,000 kW, which is roughly the equivalent of over 1,340 in traditional mechanical horsepower. Of course, all that power and speed might rip apart a lesser vehicle (or at least make for an incredibly uncomfortable, inefficient ride). But this car has other advancements to assist.

The car’s banner feature is its fast-charging tech, which gives it 250 miles of range in just five minutes.
Mercedes-AMG

Obviously, the bodywork is highly aerodynamic, boasting a fastback body not normally seen in sedans. But there’s more, too. Take a gander at the wheels.

The active Aero Wheels are patented tech that “resolves the conflict between brake cooling, aerodynamic efficiency, and maximum range.” The five blades on the wheels can contract and close to help lower air resistance, improving range and reducing energy consumption.

The interior is also highly forward-thinking, including huge digital screens, a racing-inspired control scheme, five-point harness carbon fiber bucket seats adorned with “LaFiber” bio-based alternative leather (the door handles have a similar silk alternative), 3D-printed seat pads and so much more.

These Breathtaking Nikes Look Minimalist, but They’re Secretly Loaded with Sneaker Tech

Either way you spin it, that’s a hell of a milestone. So it goes without saying that this is a pretty special shoe. To be fair, even a cursory glance at these sneakers can tell you that.

They sport a monochromatic colorway, black on top and white on the bottom, that’s among the cleanest and most minimalist Jordans have ever looked — officially or unofficially (there are a lot of customs out there).

But it’s not just a special colorway. These sneakers also have a combination of tech that the brand has never employed in any model.

The white embroidered Jumpman logo on the tongue adds a nice little stylistic pop.
Nike

“Never been done is what we do”

For the first time ever in this sneaker, Nike has stacked a full-length Zoom Strobel (a method of attaching the upper part of a shoe to its insole) unit on top of full-length ZoomX foam cushioning.

That gives “The Classic” marathon-level responsiveness, energy return and comfort. The sneaker also features internal straps beneath its premium leather upper to offer unmatched security, whether you’re going hard in the paint or just going to the corner store.

Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force Ultimate Sapphire Blue

One of the most advanced automatic watches on the market gets an icy blue makeover inspired by the glacial lakes of the Swiss Alps. With a name as complicated as its dial, the Gravity Equal Force Ultimate Sapphire Blue is Armin Strom’s newest addition to the System 78 collection. According to the brand, the in-house caliber ASB19 is “the first automatic movement to feature a stop-work declutch mechanism combined with a Geneva cross within the barrel.” This horological masterpiece can be viewed through both the dial and the back. Though not technically a limited edition, the intricacies of the production process mean that only 25 pieces are made each year.

Leica M11-DLeica

Leica M11-D (100 Years of Leica)

To celebrate the brand’s 100-year history, Leica has launched a series of exclusive “100 Years of Leica” edition cameras, with the Leica M11-D being the standout. The special-edition rangefinder camera features the same guts as the standard M11, including a 60-megapixel full-frame CMOS image sensor and Maestro III processor. Still, it comes with two interchangeable lenses, the Leica Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 ASPH and the Leitz Anastigmat-M 50 f/3.5, the latter of which is a reimagined version of the fixed Leitz Anastigmat 50mm f/3.5 lens that came with the 1925-released Leica I. It also features some aesthetic changes, including brass top and bottom plates, and a black paint finish that resembles the original Leica I. With the purchase, Leica includes several accessories (carry strap and SD card case) for the camera and houses it all in beautiful glossy black wooden box.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound 2 Vollebak Edition SpeakerVollebak

Bang & Olufsen Beosound 2 Vollebak Edition

B & O’s Beosound 2 speaker is already one of the most iconic, innovative loudspeakers on the market, marked by Acoustic Lens Technology, offering 360 degrees of sound alongside its ability to acoustically map its surroundings to deliver the best possible sound no matter where you place it. But now Vollebak has given it an exclusive, individually anodised aluminium shell with a unique scorched finish, making it look almost like a starship engine that’s been through re-entry. Per the brand, “Each Vollebak Edition speaker is one-of-a-kind, with an anodised aluminium finish that simulates rocket burn and the residue of cosmic noise.”

The Melomania A100 is the British audio manufacturer’s first wireless earbuds with a stem design, similar to that of Apple’s AirPods. Other than that, they are wireless earbuds that prioritize sound. They pack 10mm dynamic Neodymium drivers and use the same Class AB amplification found in the brand’s high-end CX and EX Series of amplifiers. They support high-resolution Bluetooth codecs, including LDAC, aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless. The A100 also features active noise cancellation and transparency modes.

We Drove the 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Through Some of the Southwest’s Most Iconic Landscapes

Toyota TRD Pro car in white parked by a red rock canyonToyota

TRD Pro model shown.

With photographer Cody Conk behind the wheel, our crew ventured way off the beaten track in search of awesome natural beauty.

You’ve probably seen a landscape photograph that slowed your pulse. But have you ever considered what the process of actually capturing that image was like? You’d be forgiven for assuming it was also zenlike.

Occasionally, that might happen. “But a lot of times,” says landscape photographer Cody Conk, “it’s a mad dash to get your shot in a precise moment where everything lines up. It’s honestly pretty adrenaline-pumping sometimes.”

That tension between the high-energy capture process and the often soothing images created is what fuels Conk’s passion. The staggering, otherworldly geologic formations he gets to visit — like those found on the Colorado Plateau in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah — also don’t hurt.

So it’s not surprising that when we asked Conk, the proud owner of a 5th generation 4Runner, if he’d like to plan a trip to try out the 2025 4Runner TRD Pro, he suggested we head to canyon country.

[[[YOUTUBE VIDEO GOES HERE]]]

A capable and reliable vehicle, it turns out, is an essential piece of kit for a landscape photographer. That’s because so many of the most visually interesting scenes are not exactly easy to get to. When you turn off of pavement and onto dirt en route to White Pocket, for instance, you’ve still got an hour and a half of harsh washboards, deep sand, and jagged rocks to traverse.

Want to go deeper into Cody’s epic adventure? Head over to Your Window to the Wild for more.

This $549 Automatic Watch Might Be the Best Cartier Alternative You Can Buy

Since then, limited restocks of the white and black dials have come in 2023 and 2024, but each sold out almost immediately. Fortunately, Lorier has confirmed another restock is coming in late July 2025.

If you’re in the market for an affordable daily dress watch, a fan of Art Deco design or need to scratch that Cartier and JLC itch without breaking the bank, this is your chance to land a brand new Zephyr.

Considering Lorier also includes two leather quick-release straps, a black and a brown, there really is no better bargain in the classic dress watch category.

Now, if only Lorier would bring back the green dial.

Nissan’s Tankiest SUV Just Got a First-Ever Tuner-Worthy Performance Upgrade

The outside has been given the in-house tuning brand’s signature blue-gray paint job with red accents on the borders of the grille, down around the lower edges, on the side mirrors and more. In fact, even the engine gets Nismo’s signature red highlights.

That styling also extends to the interior, although the blue-gray is swapped for black (but the red is still all over the cockpit). Other details include 22-inch Nismo Rays forged-alloy wheels and performance tires and performance seats.

Altogether, this Nismo version may be the best-looking Armada ever. But that’s only half the story.

These are the voyages of the starship Armada

The most important and exciting change in the Nismo-tuned Armada is under the hood. After all, it wouldn’t be a true Nismo if it didn’t have a performance-tuned engine.

As such, it boasts a twin-turbo 3.5L V6 powerplant that’s good for 460 horsepower (up from 415) and 516 foot-pounds of torque. It also gets a retuned exhaust for a burlier growl.

This Affordable Titanium Watch Might Be the Most Original Day-Date Ever Made

In 1675, Dutch scientist, astronomer and inventor Christiaan Huygens introduced the first balance spring, a brilliant piece of engineering at the heart of mechanical timekeeping to this day.

Huygens’s invention, a coiled spring that releases energy at a constant rate, allowed reliable clockworks to be produced on a small and portable scale, revolutionizing navigation, astronomy and daily life.

The Knijnsberg Hugenius is an homage to Christiaan Huygens’s invention of the balance spring.
Kneijnsberg

To honor the 350th anniversary of this enormous accomplishment, Dutch independent watchmaker Brendan Horneman created the Hugenius, a watch with perhaps the most unique day-date display ever designed.

Horneman teaches at the Dutch National School for Watchmakers, Goldsmiths and Jewelers in Schoonhoven. He created his watch brand in 2018, but hasn’t released anything in years.

The Hugenius has a 40mm titanium case, housing an ETA caliber 2834-2 automatic movement, which Horneman modified to accommodate his unique dial layout.

The date is displayed in a standard rectangular window at six o’clock, but the days are printed on the outermost track of the dial using a combination of astrological symbols and registered with the largest hand on the dial.

WhistlePig and Liquid Death are both darlings of the social media marketing era in their respective industries. So it comes as no surprise that their collaboration is a best-of-both-worlds situation. This limited-edition wheated whiskey is aged in charred American oak caskets. That’s not a typo; the brands custom-built caskets instead of casks to age this spirit, which is delightfully on-brand for Liquid Death. It’s also proofed with Liquid Death Mountain Water, making for a smooth, tasty 86-proof finished product.
