On the flipside, that’s still enough space to hold literally thousands of full-color comics, books and more. And you can always delete what you’re not using, so it shouldn’t really be noticeable unless you’re a digital hoarder.

The SoundLink Plus packs six total drivers — one subwoofer, a tweeter and four passive radiators — and promises to deliver bass-heavy audio. It has an IP67 rating and is ideally suited for the pool or beach — Bose claims it even floats.

The Audioengine A2+ Wireless have been among the best and most popular desktop speakers for years. The versatile speakers combine excellent sound and wireless streaming capabilities, all at a relatively affordable price. The 2025 editions of these compact speakers (which have dropped the “Wireless” name) are identical to their predecessors but add the ability to play 24-bit audio and a USB-C input, making it easier to connect to today’s laptops and desktops.

Alex Cranz at The Verge called this gadget “the hypercar of E-Ink note-taking devices” for good reason. The 11.8-inch tablet pushes e-ink tech to its limits to create the ultimate digital notebook. The most significant innovation here is a unique color e-ink display combined with some intelligent software tricks that allow the reMarkable Pro to faithfully render books, slide decks, PDFs, and other docs without the downside of a frustratingly slow refresh rate. Like other reMarkable tablets, the textured display replicates a paper-like feel when using a stylus, while a front-facing reading light makes the tablet usable in darker settings. The catch is that the Paper Pro costs as much as more capable devices like Apple’s new 11-inch iPad Air. The well-regarded keyboard accessory makes price an even more significant cause for pause, given it costs $229.

Anker Soundcore Nebula P1

The Nebula P1 is a small, budget-friendly alternative to the $5,000 Nebula X1 Pro announced at IFA, weighing just 5.3 pounds (down from a whopping 72). It only has a resolution of 1080P and brightness of 650 ANSI lumens. However, it boasts a pair of built-in Bluetooth speakers that detach for optimal sound in a backyard setting.

Garmin Forerunner 970

The Garmin Forerunner 970 is the company’s new “best of the best” GPS running watch for 2025. Compared to previous Forerunners, the 970 has the “brightest AMOLED screen yet,” according to the brand. It also has a built-in microphone and speaker — a first for the Forerunner line — so you can answer calls right from your wrist during runs. The Forerunner 970 comes in one size: 47mm. (For those looking for a similar but more affordable option, check out Garmin’s Forerunner 570, which is also new for 2025.)

BowFlex Results Series 1090 SelectTech Dumbbells

For years, BowFlex has dominated the adjustable home dumbbells market with its 552 Adjustable Dumbbells. The chief complaint? Their top weight is limited to just 52.2 pounds. For those looking to lift heavier, the brand finally has an answer in the 1090s. Like their predecessors, these dumbbells adjust incrementally, but now they start at 10 pounds and go up to 90, each — replacing up to 17 sets of weights. They’ve also been given a design overhaul, making them look better in the process.

KEF Coda W

KEF’s Coda W is a powered active speaker system modeled after the brand’s Coda loudspeakers, which were first released in the 1970s. Both speakers are individually amplified, and together the system delivers a beefy 200 watts of power. Like its other wireless speaker systems, the Coda W is extremely versatile thanks to a wide variety of wired connections, so you can use it as a desktop or TV speaker. Most interestingly, the Coda W is KEF’s first active speaker system to feature a built-in phono preamplifier (compatible with MM cartridges), making it plug-and-play ready for most entry-level turntables today. If there’s one tradeoff, it’s that it only supports Bluetooth streaming — there’s no built-in Wi-Fi, meaning it’s probably best used with a wired source.

Ricoh GR IV

After six long years, Ricoh has finally introduced a new model to its popular GR line of compact cameras. Compared to the 2019-released GR III, the GR IV is subtly thinner and shorter, yet still retains the same overall design as the original film GR from the 90s. However, it features an upgraded 26-megapixel sensor and a new lens that has been redesigned for speed. Ricoh also revamped the controls, brought back the built-in flash, and gave the GR IV a few other little improvements. Unfortunately, these upgrades come at a steep cost. The GR IV costs $1,499, which is $600 more than the $899 GR III.
