It’s certainly better than the warranties offered by many of Canyon’s competitors, but there are a few points Canyon is clear on. Specifically, the warranty covers:

  • Up to one free replacement cooler, per cooler purchased
  • Free Drain plug replacement– 3 times
  • Free Latch replacement– 3 times
  • Free wheel or handle replacement – 3 times
  • Free Strap replacement– 3 times
  • Clear evidence of Bear or Shark attack – 1 time

Soft coolers also only have a 66-week warranty with the option for a single, one-time replacement cooler within that period. The warranty doesn’t apply to lost or stolen items or items damaged in an accident or act of nature. It also doesn’t apply to older cooler models Canyon sold before launching the Outfitter series.

Even with these terms, though, Canyon easily offers the best piece of mind for customers looking to buy a new hard-sided cooler, which is part of why it’s now earning recognition as a top recommended option.

Most Models Feature Unique and Handy Design Details

Two Canyon Cooler Pro 45 Coolers shown open. One is in the upper left corner of the image. The other is in the bottom right. Both coolers are a speckled white, greyish color. The top cooler shows how the food grade table can slide in the middle of the cooler to be a divider. The bottom cooler shows how the divider can be attached externally to the cooler to serve as a table.
Certain Canyon coolers are compatible with a SideKick Table. It’s an internal divider that can also attach to the outer edge of the cooler, allowing it to function as a food-grade table/serving surface.
Canyon Coolers

Like most rotomolded coolers, Canyon Coolers are durable and excellent at retaining ice. Beyond those table stakes, though, Canyon models also feature unique design details that make them stand out from the icepack.
