Finding the right running sneaker is hard to do, especially when there are so many out there. We pulled together a list of sneakers that are available right now — specifically ones that dropped this month. With all the new colorways, slight tweaks and updated styles, there are loads to choose from. Here are a few of our favorites.

Asics Roadhawk FF 2

The Roadhawk FF2 is one of the newest updates from Asics and is great for neutral to slight over-pronators. With a FlyteFoam Propel midsole, the sneakers are lightweight, yet still offer some much-needed kickback when you land — whether you’re on a treadmill or on the road.

Asics DynaFlyte 3

Compared to the Roadhawk, this sneaker is built for a similar type of pronator and has a similar midsole, but with lots of support thanks to the guidance line along the sole. We took this for a spin on the treadmill and were impressed with how it kept up during sprints.

Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo

We were lucky enough to take these for a spin before they hit the market. They’re the ideal shoe for tempo runs, long-distance runs and sprints. There’s really nothing they can’t do — except stay clean.

Mizuno Wave Rider 22

A neutral running shoe, the Wave Rider 22 combines its plush cushioning with a re-engineered midsole. A dual-layered mesh upper means it’s lighter than previous iterations and keeps your feet cool during long hot summer days.

Hoka One One Bondi 6

This is the sixth version of the Bondi, a neutral road shoe with plush cushioning. You’re guaranteed a smooth ride thanks to the full EVA midsole and meta-rocker — and it now comes with a more breathable upper and slightly more minimalist colors (for Hoka, at least).

Brooks Levitate 2

Designed to help you experience infinite energy, the Levitate 2 sneaker takes the original to another level. The sock-like upper features a stretchy knit collar to keep the shoes in place — we recommend having socks that fall higher on your ankle than the shoes do. Built with Brooks DNA Amp foam, you’re sure to feel lots of feedback from the road in these.

Brook Ghost 11

The Ghost is a favorite model for many stability runners, and Brooks fans in general. Now its 11th iteration takes the field with what the brand is claiming to be a “softer, smoother and lighter” feel. The only update from previous models is the DNA LOFT heel crash pad, so if you are a heel striker, you’re sure to notice a softer landing with each step.
