Sx-Z | DDMWorks TwinCharged 700-HP Ariel Atom

The Ariel Motor Company, based out of England, created their Atom series of high performance sports cars to be fast and powerful. Now the team of sports car modification experts over at DDMWorks in South Carolina have taken it a step further. DDMWorks released the first 700 conversion kit to fit the Ariel Atom 2 and harnessing it with a full 700 horsepower. Yeah, that’s right, 700 horsepower, that’s nearly triple the horsepower of the stock Atom.

Of course DDMWorks could not obtain the 700 horse without tweaking internals. DDMWorks added Darton mid sleeves, ceramic-coated Wiseco pistons, H-beam Carrillo rods and ARP hardware, a set of 1,100-cc fuel injectors to keep the engine fed, and a custom air-to-water heat exchanger keeps the supercharger output serviceable and the turbo relying on air-to-air intercooler.

The twinCharged Atom was then outfitted with 275-mm wide rear tires on custom 17×9 wheels to get the power to the ground. Drivers have the option of three power levels; 450 hp, 575 hp or the full twinCharged 700-hp.
