Quick Take: Zodiac has debuted a modern take on its Aerospace GMT, which originally debuted in 1966 as an evolution to its Super Sea Wolf dive watch. The new version is a surprisingly accurate recreation of the original (at least with respect to aesthetics), and is available in the original’s black-and-grey bezel or with a baby blue-and-burnt-orange bezel. (The bezels are divided into two colors to correspond to day and night.) Each watch will be limited to 182 pieces, a nod to Zodiac’s founding in 1882.
Who It’s For: Anyone looking to break into the GMT market but not wanting to spend Rolex-level money will likely appreciate another contender in the space, especially at this price (under $2,000). With its ETA movement, the Aerospace GMT gives you two time zones for less than the cost of a vintage bezel for the Rolex GMT Master.
Key Features: Two time zone-functionality via a third GMT hand; rotating 24-hour bezel in two colors; date wheel; steel bracelet.
