Three of our favorite boutique running brands just launched spring lines, all full of gear to get you outside faster. Saysky, Soar and Tracksmith each have very different looks but focus on high-performance pieces for every season. Just as the midwest is getting hit with a bomb cyclone, running brands are preparing for longer days and warmer weather.

Saysky, a small brand out of Copenhagen, looks to inspire ‘unbounded running comradery’ as shown on the breathable and lightweight singlets. Look to the Danish brand for minimalist designs with unusual phrases that’ll help you stand out along the road or trail.

The UK-based brand, Soar, took the spring season to re-design some of its classics like the Tempo Top and Classic Shorts. This time of year, the weather in the UK is pretty variable — the London Marathon is April 28 this year, and it’s always a crapshoot if it’s going to be hot, cold or an in-between temperature. The new fabric in both the long sleeve top and shorts uses laser cutting and bonding to trap warm air next to your skin, so you stay warmer for longer.

If an old-school varsity running jacket is your go-to, check out Tracksmith. The Boston-based brand loves bright colors and nods to track lore and style. If you’re looking for a fast race day outfit, Tracksmith is your brand. New this season are the Falmouth running shorts and Grayboy tee. Both of which seem suited for every day, but feature technical nylon and cotton fabrics that age well with sweat.
