Rhino GX By US Specialty Vehicles

Who doesn’t love armored vehicles? Would you rather travel in luxury and style, or on a fully decked-out monster that eats bullets for breakfast? We could guess that just like us, the majority would probably jump at the chance to take the latter option. What we have here is a 2016 Ford F-450 Super Duty that has been modified and rebuilt literally like a tank by US Specialty Vehicles. This menacing machine is the Rhino GX. It comes with all the bells and whistles to keep you and your passengers out of harm’s way.

The rugged exterior and body use a combination of dual-layer cold steel and roll cage body structure. There are also steel panels throughout the frame, composite bumpers, and heavy-duty running boards on each side. The entire assembly sits on four 20-inch aluminum custom wheels that are wrapped in 38×15.50R20 Toyo Open Country M/T tires. Standard safety and security features include advanced airbags, an upgraded sway bar, speed cruise control, and a smart hydraulic suspension system with a rollover protection algorithm.

Inside is a luxurious cabin that flaunts premium designer leather upholstery on the seats, dashboard, steering wheel, and a suede headliner. 6-way and 8-way power seats are on hand for versatility and comfort. Other perks include an App-Tronics Smart Nav 5 navigation system, a rear-mounted camera with ultrasonic parking sensors, and a SecuriLock Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS). This armored 4×4 comes in either a 6.7-liter Powerstroke V8 turbo diesel or a 6.8-liter V10 gas engine. Furthermore, you can choose to have the vehicle coated in Tactical Green, Desert Sand, or Stealth Black paintwork.
